Hotel Whiskey in Pass Christian

Perfect location in downtown Pass Christian! Beautiful and quiet area. We stayed in the suite with a full kitchen, washer and dryer. There is plenty of room for a family of 5+. The hotel itself needs some refreshing and TLC. The furniture in the room and on the balcony is worn out and needs to be replaced. New pillows on the deck furniture would help tremendously. It was clean, but could be even better if more attention was given to details. Unfortunately the space will continue to decline if left as is. I hope the owner reads this review and makes a site visit soon!

Most beautiful, clean and comfortable place i have ever stayed! My only small complaint that is if your neighbors are drunks, you cant enjoy the beautiful shared balcony! The views from the balcony are gorgeous! Love love love this place!

Where do I begin! The hotel is in the heart of Pass Christian but lacks everything else. First the A/C wasn’t working. It kept cutting off and wasn’t cold when it was on. We stayed in a handicap room yet it wasn't ADA complaint. It was a shower. My husband is a double amputee and needed a shower chair. When I called to have them bring one to our room. I was talking with someone from another state and they had to get back with us. We got a phone call an hour later informing us they don’t have shower chairs but would have someone come look at the air. Not sure if anyone ever came cause we never heard from them again. There wasnt anyone to restock towels, in room coffee and condiments. You were 100% on your own. And the parking! If you call it that. There was maybe 4 parking spacing. The bank next door share parking areas and had more spaces than The Whiskey Hotel. Wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. Don’t waste your money.

Don't bother. We requested one type of room and were shunted into a different room. A customer service person promised to call us back three different times but never did. The floors were sticky and there was an unidentified substance on the bathroom floor which I sincerely hope was some kind of jelly. No elevator, no staff on premises. Would not recommend to anyone.

Be prepared! Not a good experience! Best part: Location is very nice. Worst part: everything else! Booked the best 3 rooms over a Holiday weekend. Paid full price as you can expect. 1) fine print, stairs only, no elevator. 2) ac not working in one of the rooms. 3) coffee machine didn’t work. 4) replacement coffee machine didn’t work. 5) dishes from previous guest were left in the dishwasher. 6) a pair of someone’s underwear was left in one of the nightstands. 7) all of the bathroom containers for shampoo and such were completely empty. 8) door codes given were changed several times before we arrived and we had to worry about whether there was going to be a problem getting in to the rooms upon arrival. 9) the hotel is not manned, which is the case now in some small boutique hotels but this made the door code issue more of a concern if there was a problem. 10) the wi-fi service was terrible. couldn’t do anything on my laptop or ipad and tv service was spotty for the same reason. 11) the faucet in the suite bathroom was loose and the sink drain was semi stopped up. water backed up and had to allow time for it to slowly drain. To sum it up, too many things went wrong and all of them were avoidable with better attention to detail and proper management. No response from owner after writing.

Booked through Airbnb. Arrived late in the evening to find the room was not clean. Housekeeping had left food from the precious guest in the microwave, sand on the chairs, a spilled drink on the floor, an empty toilet roll in the bathroom, and floor unswept/mopped. We contacted management to get a new room, which they helped us with, but the next room was no better. This room had snack food trash on the floors and even a bikini bottom liner. The rug was disgusting - it needs to be thrown out completely, and the balcony door was left unlocked. There was sand in these chairs too. It seems like the beds were changed, trash taken out, and that’s it. Definitely needs some TLC & could be easily brought back to life, but needs a THOROUGH cleaning.

Booked this for one night for a staycation for me & my fiancé. The price for a weekday was so affordable for the quality of room we got (less than $100). The check-in was so easy... they literally just email you your room number & key code to get into your room. They also do automatic check-out, so no hassle there either. We both loved the bed & slept so comfortably. Definitely will be back.

Clean, newly remodeled, spacious rooms in a quiet "boutique" hotel with a handful of rooms. Comfy large room - highly recommend!

Loved our quick stay at Hotel Whiskey! Would have liked to stay longer. First, the hotel is located in the perfect spot, right next to lots of food and a cute coffee shop. The beach is just across the street. Rooms are huge and very clean. Thankfully the hotel staff was able to accommodate our request for a last minute early check in. Only issue we had was figuring out the air conditioning and trying to get it to constantly blow. When we turned it on fan the temp went from 66 to 77 over a couple hours, but the cool turns off and stayed off once at the temp.

This was an adorable little hotel that operated similar to an Air B&B with daily maid service. The room was a nice size, very clean, and the amenities were great. We had a nice balcony overlooking the shops and out toward the gulf. We thought we may have to stay an extra night due to Hurricane Ida, and the staff were willing to accommodate us if needed. I would definitely stay here again! There is a nice restaurant (Hooks), a bar (Whiskey Bar) and a smoke shop all within walking distance that are certainly worth visiting.

We checked in today and the room was warm, but we just thought it needed a little time to cool off. We went eat dinner and returned around 8 to a warm room. The hall was cooler than our room. I called twice and both times they stated they would get someone to call me and put in an urgent order, but no call received. I was told there were no other rooms available and that we were just going to have to in a sense deal with it. I am so disappointed and appalled that we are going to be subjected to such sub par standards and service. Furthermore, the receptionist did not even appear to be concerned or helpful to resolve the AC issue.

This is a boutique hotel right "downtown", within walking distance from the Pass Central beach, and several nice restaurants. The price is excellent, considering how close we were to everything, and the convenience there. Accoutrements were very nice -- Keurig coffee maker with all the accompaniments. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and fully stocked. My only regret was that the room looked out over the back parking lot -- next time I'd probably stay in one of the upstairs rooms that have a balcony. Check-in is somewhat unusual in that we never saw a human being -- we called a phone number to tell them we were ready to check in, and the owner apparently entered an entry code in the lock remotely. It was a strange way of doing things, but it worked. She was only a phone call away any time, and we DID have to call her about several things. Promptly, our concerns and needs were taken care of.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. The room was huge and clean and right in the middle of everything. If you are going to Pass Christian this place is perfect. Can't recommend enough!

This was the best surprise of a hotel find! We had evacuated post hurricane Ida and were fortunate enough to find a last minute cancellation. The rooms were great. The restaurant was great. The owners were there and, along with their manager, worked with us to find a second night. All around the nicest people, great service, and really qreat location. We will be back just for the fun of it!
