Hotel Wictoria

The rooms (doble single bed room) are quite small but cozy, the temp in the room was about 20c which is cold for me . It had wonderful breakfast and i would reccomend the hotel to people.

I needed to stay one night in Mariestad and this hotel was booked on the day, via their website. For the size of the room and the fact that the hotel was probably nearly empty due to the COVID19 situation, the room was perhaps a little expensive, but this was a good stay overall. One could book directly via their own site, with no prepayment required. ||||I was arriving late from Malmö, and the reception would be closed by the time I arrived. However, the receptionist Emma left me detailed instructions over SMS on how to collect the key and getting to my room was no problem. There is 4 (or 5 depending how nicely people park) parks off a side street to the hotel. Location is very central. ||||The room was tiny, but functional. Single bed with a handy plug beside the bed (although a bedside cabinet/shelf above would have been helpful). The view outside was directly into another wall. Bathroom was cramped, but shower pressure was good. The toilet is very near the sink, so I was afraid of knocking/dropping toiletries into the bowl. Nice touches include a stocked minibar fridge with semi-reasonable prices (for being a minibar) and they even offered Ramlösa bubble water for free. ||||Despite the low occupancy and Carona, the breakfast buffet was passable. I can imagine that it would be even better in normal times. Receptionist was friendly on checkout. ||||I would stay here again, although perhaps in a bigger room.

Hotel staff all very nice. Breakfast was ok. Our room was clean and spacious and overlooked the garden. The wifi was good. They offer free coffee/hot chocolate from a machine in reception and they also put on some cake and biscuits that you could enjoy with your drink. This was an unexpected bonus. If you like modern hotels this is not for you as it is rather dated and tired in places. I prefer modern hotels but there was a good feel to this small hotel.

We booked this hotel in Mariestad, found a friendly reception, fast and very helpful on questions about the town.||But our room was rather small and very narrow beds! If you in sleep turn around, you might wake up down on the floor... but at least the rooms were clean.||The breakfast was just ok. Take it in the winter garden!||From outside the Hotel building would appreciate to get a fresh painting. and the number of parking places is quite not enough.

We thought Mariestad would be a nice place to visit in the autumn, but it turned out to be a rather dead town. People stayed indoors in the grey and wet September weekend. But Hotel Wictoria was no disappointment, it was situated in a very quiet part of town with a nice garden. We imagined it would be lovely in the summer. The room was beautiful with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was good, and the staff friendly. ||We had been looking forward to have a good evening meal at the hotel, but no food was to be had on the weekends, so we had to go out in the rain. A disappointment!

Clean, newly renovated and amazing staff! We stayed here with our 2 kids over night. We came in late and it up last minute booking. The staff were so accommodating. The rooms were clean and nicely designed. I wish we had more time to spend there but I assume it was your old mansion. Absolutely charming can hide highly recommend staying here and the beds are comfortable ! Thanks for the stay!

The Hotel is old and cozy. Clean but not fresh. Could use solen paint and a scrub. Free coffe at the reception witch closes at 9 pm. Free wi-fi but slow. Not that hot water in the shower. Great desk and a lot of electrical cords.
