Ah, the Hotel Wilenski in Olsztyn—a fine establishment, if your idea of “boutique” is a charming blend of sleepless nights and mild heat exhaustion. Nestled conveniently in the heart of Olsztyn, this gem offers all the ambiance of a quaint roadside inn, complete with the soothing symphony of non-stop traffic just outside your window. Truly, it’s like sleeping on the median of a busy highway, but with slightly better linens.||Now, let’s talk about the air conditioning—or rather, the lack thereof. You see, in Europe, air conditioning is apparently regarded as some futuristic luxury only to be whispered about in hushed tones, as if a mere mention of it would summon a revolt. At the Hotel Wilenski, they’ve proudly chosen to uphold this tradition. But don’t worry—when the room hits a cozy 85 degrees Fahrenheit, you can always open the windows! And then, dear traveler, you’ll have the distinct pleasure of experiencing Olsztyn’s finest rush-hour traffic up close and personal. Who needs sleep when you can be serenaded by honking horns, screeching brakes, and the occasional shout from pedestrians arguing in Polish?||The interiors, however, are beautifully updated, a feast for the eyes. It’s a shame that the rest of your body will be too busy sweating through the night to appreciate them fully. The décor is modern, chic, and clearly meant to distract you from the sauna-like experience of your room. A true feast for the senses—well, all senses except comfort.||In conclusion, if you’re looking for a boutique hotel that combines urban charm, authentic European heat, and the delightful roar of city life at all hours, the Hotel Wilenski is your place. Bring earplugs, a fan, and a deep, abiding sense of irony. You’ll need all three.

Great location close to the old town… short walk to restaurants and places of interest. The room was clean and spacious for a family with three kids. Buffet was clean, not overly rich in food choices, but enough to grab something quick. One area where we were a bit disappointed is service, both at the front desk and the restaurant…. Employees there seemed annoyed with our presence and short in responses to our questions, a bit of friendliness would go a long way to make this a great place.

The hotel itself it’s nice and clean and the staff are very attentive and friendly. Our room was pretty big and comfy however the double bed were 2 beds put together which created a gap in between that was pretty uncomfortable. The room had blinds which were very good for sleeping at night to avoid some light coming in in the morning. Very close to old town.

What a lovely place to stay! They made me feel so welcome, even though i couldnt speak Polish. The General Manager and the Bar Manager went above and beyond in making my stay so enjoyable. The facilities were excellent, the breakfast was lovely and in walking distance to the town. Would recommend for a lovely stay in a lovely area of Poland. Many thanks again.

The rating would be much higher, because the hotel itself is quite nice, but unfortunately the event of the District Chamber of Legal Advisors from Olsztyn and the Foundation of Legal Advisors "Ius" is much more important for the hotel than their own regulations, law and clients. It's 11:27 p.m. and despite two interventions at the reception, the music is still so loud that it's impossible to sleep and the walls are shaking.||Overall, it is interesting that legal advisors from Olsztyn do not comply with the law, but on the other hand, it is not their responsibility but the hotel's.|| Update: after the police arrived at 00:55 a.m., despite the fine, the hotel still did not silence the party because the legal advisers paid for the music until 2 a.m.||Therefore, if you happen to come during a similar event, you probably won't sleep in this hotel, because the staff has no respect for other guests and it's own regulations.||But if you do the same as a guest they will throw you out.

Very attractive hotel just outside the centre of the old town. Clean, comfortable and smartly decorated. I had a lovely room with a superb en suite bathroom. Excellent facilities. Generous buffet breakfast (you can ask for eggs cooked how you like) and an excellent restaurant for dinner. Super food. Receptionists speak good English and are charming and helpful. Only downside is that the waiters at dinner were rather sullen and unwelcoming.||I recommend this hotel strongly. It is very close to the start of the new parkrun!
