Hotel Willisau

Charming hotel next to the conservation area. Exquisite facade, clean decor, very comfortable mattress and pillows, good TV size, air conditioning available, lovely veranda, a very nice feature with good views, good spa bath, shower was also good but constant variations in temperature but all acceptable. All extremely clean and cleaning staff was very diligent. Very good spa area very clean and well kept: sauna and swimming pool with lovely waterfall. Also a terrace available with great views. Breakfast was also was very good, plenty of delicious options. Definitely a good hotel in a great location.

This hotel had the most amazing and friendly staff. They all spoke English and were always smiling and very helpful. Their breakfast was amazing as i gained 5 lbs in 6 days. That shoukd tell you how good it is. The wifi was strong and rooms were very clean. It is also located very close to all the attractions in the area. Beautiful views as well. I would recommend for other English speaking tourists to stay here.

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights in the Hotel Willisau in a room with a balcony (which I would highly recommend). The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable with all expected facilities, including very good shower, silent air conditioning, minibar, comfortable bed. There is an indoor heated pool and games rooms with billiards (pool), table tennis and table football. The views from the rooms are fantastic, overlooking the city with mountains beyond. The location is ideal, on a very quiet road but a short walk to shops, restaurants and the weekend market.

It was around 15C and the wind howling the night we stayed. Our room had no heat and was frigid. The front desk said all they could offer was a blanket. Otherwise, the hotel is ok but kind of run down. The pool is a joke.||||Service was friendly. Breakfast was fine. Location is pretty good. Parking is good. Price is excellent.

We brought our two sons (9 and 5) for a couple of nights out of the madness of Rio. It was perfect. We booked a quadruple room (the hotel contacted me before to ask whether to include two doubles or a double and two singles). The room was fine and the beds excellent.||Hotel is really well located, close to restaurants, the entrance to the national park and the Brazilian football team's training base.||Service is really good too. Helpful and friendly.||Small garden at the front has rabbits for the children to play with.||We'll come back.

Wonderful.place. quiet, calm and very good assistance. Pool is heated. Sauna is nice. Amazing food. Feeling great!!!! Looking forward to stay more times over there. The chef is amazing, and his food is 5 stars !

Great place up on a hill in the Teresopolis mountains. Very professional staff and all the employees can speak English. I really enjoyed my stay of 6 days there. The location is perfect for tourism and their breakfast and wifi were outstanding. Their food is great as well for room service or dinner in the restaurant in the evening. The prices were acceptable and the rooms were very clean and quiet. They also have amazing views from every corner of the hotel. I would recommend this hotel for Americans and all other English speaking tourists.

Expensive for what is offered. The rooms are not cozy at all. We paid more to have a room with hot-tub, but we couldn’t really use it, because it took about 2 hours to fill up. Not to mention that the water was just lukewarm and we couldn’t use any other faucet or shower while the tub was being filled. Their pool is very small and doesn’t look very clean. My interaction with the hotel owner was very unpleasant and their staff tried to take down my review twice. I really hope TripAdvisor owns its commitment to free speech this time and privacy.
