Me and my husband spent a week there. Very good location, close to the restaurants and shops and not far from the beach. The room was small and simple but with everything that was necessary. Even though the shower and WC were shared they were always clean and tidy. Wi-Fi was working well. The staff was very friendly and helpful, we had to check-in and check-out really late at night and there were no problems with that. The interior of the building was lovely, we only sometimes missed an elevator since the hotel was on the 3rd floor and the stairs were really big :)

My partner and I stayed in Hotel Wilson for 2 nights on a trip to Nice for my birthday and had a wonderful time. The hotel is more like a collection of rooms than a big fancy place but that was exactly what we were looking for. It was clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff were extremely helpful- they let us leave our bags both before check in and after checkout, and they even managed to put us in a room with a balcony because it was my birthday! The balcony was beautiful and covered in plants. The hotel is in a great location about 15 minutes from the beach and 10 minutes from the Old Town so it made a great base for us to explore. This hotel was absolutely perfect for us but is at the top of several steep flights of stairs so would not be suitable for someone with mobility issues.

We had a great time in Nice, there were six of us. We had three rooms and all were good enough for the two night stay. We just put our heads down and had a shower, then were out all day and evening. Location was perfect, price brilliant, it was clean and tidy and the hosts were very friendly. It's not five star by any means, but then you get what you pay for, and this was perfectly adequate for us. There are lots of stairs to get up to the hotel, but we knew that, it was a workout and got the heart pumping!

This hotel is in walking distance to almost everything. The room was clean and comfortable and the decor is charming. I had a fan in my room which did keep it cool enough for July and the white noise also blocked out other noise. Although the wi fi was not working in my room. I had to go the housekeeper's work area/ breakfast room to access wi fi and even then it was hit and miss. It was an issue for me, not having a European cell phone carrier and needing to access my train tickets.

Hotel Wilson is well located and a real bargain in this price category. The rooms are plain and simple, the staff really friendly and the wi-fi worked well. The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated in African theme.||||I must add that there's no lift, so climbing so many flights of stairs might be a problem to some people. There was also quite a noisy party having dinner each night I stayed there, so be warned. It did not bother me so much, though.||||The hotel offers breakfast, but I did not accept the offer, so cannot say anything about it.

We stayed for 3 nights beginning of the January including New Years Eve. Hotel location is perfect (5 minutes to walk from tram line to the airport, next to the shopping street and 10 minutes from the beach). Basically you can reach almost every corner of the city by foot. Hotel has no elevator, but we survived. Rooms were decorated in style and were cleaned daily. We had en-suite room, shower cabin was a bit small, but clean and for few nights stay ok. At night there could be some street noise due people going home from the pub’s. You can find small supermarket at right side of the hotel, just opposite of the road. Very good stay for us and good value of money!

Rooms were spacious and staff were friendly and helpful. Internet connection was really bad. WiFi and our Internet didn't work properly in the room. Breakfast was delicious but (imho) expensive €7,5 per person one croissant or pain au chocolat,1 pot of coffee or tea, 1 glass of juice, 1 baguette to share with jam & butter (e. g., no musli, cheese, fruits or unlimited drinks) . The hotel was close to the beach and they provided sun umbrella (but not beach towels). Overall, i enjoyed my stay.

Great place to stop for the money, very clean and cozy, and super close to city center and beach. Male service members (2/3) know English well enough to help you with any questions regarding your stay and are very kind and helpful. Windows are little bit old but there are warm blankets for your convenience when nights are cold. I recommend Hotel Wilson without doubt, based on my experience.

Yelp
This is a small unique hotel in Nice, France. You have to walk up 3 flights of stairs, but it is well worth it! Each room has it own decor, and the owners are very nice guys. They own a pet turtle! If in Nice, check out this place- it's in budget, it's cute, and it's close to the water & downtown...very worth it!

Yelp
My all-time favourite hotel; probably in the world. Not just because it's quirky, comfortable, central and cheap, but because the proprietors go out of their way to make your stay a pleasant one. It's shot to #3 in TripAdvisor's reviews of Nicois hotels, and not without reason. Book well in advance - it's become incredibly busy. A great place to stay on a budget - single rooms sans WC/shower are around EUR35, with fully-fitted doubles at around EUR60. Other hotels in the same price range (e.g. the nearby Acanthe) are positively shabby by comparison.
