This should really be a 2- or 3-star review, but our room could have been an anomaly. First, the hotel is really cool--hipster, underground bunkers with no windows. There's a small arcade downstairs with pinball machines, retro arcade games, foosball (not working), and ping pong. The restaurant was one of the best for a hotel restaurant: casual but excellent food and staff, and reasonable prices. The breakfast buffet was great, too. There's a small deli/grocery store (Urban Deli) that kinda shares space with the hotel, so that's convenient.
The downside was that our room sucked. It was small, but that's to be expected in Europe. Because there are no windows, underneath the bed are LED lights that are supposed to go off after a few minutes, if the motion sensors under the bed don't detect you walking around. But ours didn't go off for about 45-60 min, which was not good when you have to get up in the middle of the night. I had asked the front desk about this, and they didn't come down to check; and since there's no phone in the room, we just sucked it up the first night.
But the worst part was that there was some deep underground rumbling (metro subway train?) about every 5-10 min, so it was impossible to sleep, even with earplugs and a sound machine.
The next day, the front desk seemed surprised about all this, like it's never happened before. They said no room (except for maybe one) should be able to hear the train. Not sure what that sound was, ultimately. They switched our rooms (it took about 5 hours, after other guests checked out), but even the new room had some rumblings, though much quieter and bearable. Under-bed lights worked fine.
Other than the malfunctioning room and no sleep part, the hotel was really good. Next to the Hotorget metro train stop. Make sure your bed lights go off, before it's too late and you don't feel like walking upstairs to complain. We'd go there again to give it another chance.
