I have a sister with Down's Syndrome and while her room was being refurbished I had her stay at the Quality Hotel in a 1 bedroom apartment for the week.
The room was bright and airy. Very clean. The kitchenette had a full size fridge, sink, toasterand kettle. The mini bar was very limited but this was not a bad thing in our case.
The main stand out feature for me was the service. Nothing was too much trouble. I pre-ordered all of my sister's dinners and 2 lunches. I got a call on day 3 because the staff member was worried I may have forgotten to order lunch for her.
The building is secure as you need a key to get up to the floors.
The hotel is attached to the Tradies club which offers buffet breakfast as well as lunch and dinner.
The room service meals were very nice and very generous. Only criticism is the lack of a dessert menu. Also, the only in room breakfast option is the cereal pack in the mini bar with cereal, milk, fruit, juice and a Carmen's muesli bar bite.
The views aren't great but there is a small bal cony.
Walking distance to Westfield Woden, movies, ice skating, swimming, several clubs and nice cafes.
There is off street and underground parking.
I would recommend it.
