Hotel Würzburger Hof

Beautiful old time updated hotel with friendly front desk and extra special treats when you check in to welcome you. The decor is quite charming and exquisite. The bathroom had nice updated fixtures and nice space to set things on the counters. A bit of road noise outside with people talking.… Can eliminate if you just close the window and turn on the fan. Wonderful location in town, easy to walk to all the sites to see. Overall, it is a very nice charming place to stay and we really enjoyed our room.

My husband and I visited and stayed for two nights in Sept. 2024. We still talk about how great this place was!! The location is wonderful and walkable to the city’s landmarks. Parking was a little confusing at first (that may have been our fault as foreigners), but after getting in it was easy to come and go as we needed. You receive a complimentary glass of wine upon arrival, which was lovely. And we were even lucky enough to receive a wonderful room upgrade. The staff were friendly and helpful and we would recommend this hotel stay to anyone!

This lovely traditional yet uniquely updated hotel was ideal for its location from the train station (roughly an 8 min. walk) and every other possible place you could want to go to in this beautiful city….everything was totally walkable from here…..from restaurants (the famous Juliaspital was right across the street and was just great!), to the famous historical Residence which is incredible and an absolute must see as well as to all the squares of local eateries, pubs and the Alte Main Bridge where the popular tradition of purchasing a glass of wine at the wine window and enjoying the beautiful surrounding sights on the hill in the sunshine is an absolute must….|The hotel reception at both checkin and out were both kind and very helpful…the rooms were huge, sparkling clean, and the beds were beyond comfortable!…the decor was lovely and the bathroom was a dream….so much bigger than most any of the ones we’ve had in previous hotels…all in all a terrific stay and look forward to staying here again!

The location is super close to the train station and to the altstadt (to see attractions such as the Wurzburg Residence). The rooms are quaint; for example, the old doors use a key instead of a keycard. The junior suite had antechamber with a couch. Bed was comfortable. Road noise is controlled if the windows are closed.

Very welcoming hotel. The room was gorgeous and very roomy. I felt like I was at home. I heard no street noise and had a peaceful sleep. We decided to have breakfast here and it was great. I would love to book my stay here again if I go back. ATM was conveniently located next door.

Absolutely the best hotel in Würzburg. It’s one of those old fashioned places where everything is super thoughtful and has a real human touch. There’s wine to receive you when you arrive and super strong hot showers and delicious breakfast buffet. There’s also a really nice mix of modern and antique furniture and decor. 100% would recommend!

We recently stayed at the Hotel Wurzburger and had an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. They allowed early check-in for us as we were tired, which was as lovely. All staff provided helpful information about the hotel amenities and local attractions. The room was spotless, spacious with modern decor and comfortable furnishings. |One of the highlight of my stay was the delicious breakfast buffet. The hotel's location was perfect for exploring, with major attractions just a short walk. Despite its central location, the hotel was surprisingly quiet, allowing for a peaceful and relaxing stay. We highly recommend t staying there. Really loved the entire stay. Thanks

We spent 2 nights at the hotel and really enjoyed how quaint and traditional it is. When we checked in we were immediately given an upgrade and a complimentary drink. The room was spacious and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The highlight for us was definitely the breakfast in the old breakfast salon with white tablecloths and Rosenthal breakfast service. It was a short walk from the hotel into the centre of the town. Highly recommended.

A nice hotel between the hotel and the Center of town (perfectly located in my opinion). The room was big with a massive bathroom and even a little hallway. Big nice beds. Couldn't get wifi to work though as I only once could see the ssid in the room with one bar reception. Breakfast was an amazing experience, the breakfast lady looked after us and made sure we had all we needed... The choice was great. Though the breakfast is extra (€10), and there are a couple of very nice coffee places towards the train station which I'm sure also would been great!

A lovely looking hotel ...unfortunately we were placed in a hot room on the 2nd floor facing construction. The bathroom was tiny but clean. I couldn't sleep at all during my time here due to the noise and heat, and wish we had stayed in another hotel. Breakfast was good with lots of options. The noise and heat were a deal breaker for me. Also, we had to park a distance away and carry our luggage to the hotel since there is no on-site or very close by parking.
