"Conveniently located in the center of Würzburg—within easy walking distance of sights like St. Augustine’s Church, the Kiliansbrunnen fountain, and the Falkenhaus—this comfortable four-star hotel sits in a historic building with a traditional yellow facade. The 34 rooms are spacious and spotless, complete with flat-screen TVs, work desks, minibars, and modern bathrooms with Italian toiletries. At the bottom of the marble staircase, the stylish reception area is staffed around the clock and features a computer station along with services like laundry and dry cleaning, free newspapers, and welcome drinks. There can be some street noise in the front rooms, but the rear rooms are serenely quiet."

Excellent hotel. Exactly as described. Great location, room was great, breakfast was great, and the offsite parking was the best we had at any hotel in our 3 week stay across Germany. Front desk girl, Vanessa, was OUTSTANDING. You do hear A LOT of street noise (our room was in the back, by an alley)

We stayed here one night and it is an old hotel, but it has been very well maintained. They do not have a bar but greeted us with a glass of wine in the lobby. You can purchase breakfast for €18 and I thought it was a good deal for that amount of money and it’s in a lovely older restaurant that has a very “old” European feel. The restaurant is not open for dinner for lunch, it’s just where they serve breakfast. The location is very good as well. Can you wait||We rented a deluxe room and it had a large bathroom and a large room for us to have our two large suitcases. It was very centrally located in the touristy area and near many shops. It was surprising how quiet it was to sleep. The staff were very, very nice and we enjoyed the woman who checked us in who is American and fluent in German, she was just delightful.

I booked a single room and it was nicely appointed with a comfortable bed. I also appreciated the welcome glass of wine! The front desk staff were nice. The location was good, about a ten minute walk from the train station or to the historic center of town.

It was a pity we only stayed a night. We were both a bit frazzled after delays to flights, an hour wait for bags at the airport, and long delays picking up the car, followed by driving in the dark, in the rain, on the other side of the road, on a motorway, in a car larger than what we drive normally, in a country where we don’t speak the language! The reception manager who greeted us was kind and helpful and took time to explain how to get to the garage. Due to the much later than expected arrival, even the restaurants had stopped serving food but the inn across from the hotel had a small night menu so were able to recalibrate with sausages and a beer! The breakfast at the hotel was good, the room was spacious and had everything we needed. It would have been nice to have stayed longer as the people working there were wonderful.

My family and I ( 2 Adults and 2 13 yr-olds) stayed at this lovely hotel for 2 nights in October. PLease note that this hotel is located in a pedestrian zone and by right no cars are allowed in except for drop off. So if you drive, you can't park at the hotel but their parking garage is about a 5 min walk. I dropped my family off at the hotel ( pls note google maps will not work in there so you need to estimate your way around) and then drove out to return the car at the Wurzburg train station which is literally a 5 min walk ( and which you can see from the hotel itself.. it's STRAIGHT down a road KaiserStrasse) .|Location wise, this hotel is a winner. Opposite the hotel is the tram stop. 5 min away the main train station. Walkable to all the sights - the alte Mainbrucke bridge (remember to buy a glass of franconian wine and drink it there), Wurzburg REsidence ( a very nicely restored palace), churches... and if you really want to walk 30 mins or so, it's the Marienberg fortress but everything else is EASILY walkable. you don't need the tram unless you really want to go further out. A 10 out of 10.|Hotel is in a pretty old building but the rooms were well appointed. I had booked a family room via Agoda and I was given a suite on the top floor which unfortunately there was no lift for that last flight of steps so we had to lug up our 3 lugages. Since we stayed 2 nights, at least I didn't have to lug it down the next day! The suite was very spacious with a bedroom ( 2 single beds), a nook where the fridge and coffee/tea was located, and even a shared balcony with another suite located near the bathroom. There is another smaller balcony ( looking STRAIGHT down kaiserstrasse where you can see the main train station) at the main room which had 2 other single beds) with a working desk, wardrobes etc.|It has a very old world feel to it. Everything worked just a little creaky! LOL|The heaters were all over the suite which warmed everything up nicely since we went during the start of winter. That was good! Black out blinds as well. Lots of plugs everywhere as the hotel used extension cords for the floor lights, which we used to plug in our international adaptors.|The room was a *little* bit noisy sometimes due to the people outside ( location is good so you will get people walking up and down late at night) but not too bad.|Nescafe pods and tea was provided as well as some mineral water. There was no kettle but I brought my own to boil water. |I didn't opt for breakfast so I cannot comment on the breakfast but I did see that the restaurant had allot of people going in and out for meals and there were many signed photographs on the walls of people ( as I am not from Europe I won't know any!) .|Overall a nice stay and there was a very lovely and smiling older lady the 2nd day we came down to go walking, and she pointed out certain things on the map for us to go to. Thank you madam! :)|I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is going to Wurzburg. A well maintained hotel.

Absolutely lovely room. Got a room upgrade that had a private patio! Also a glass of wine as a welcome treat. Breakfast was decent, not a huge selection but you can get all the staples. Great hotel, super well situated also.

Nice hotel with a little extra touch like overnight free shoe polish and self freshly squeezed orange juice at breakfast. Good quality breakfast and nice traditional decorated rooms and hotel areas.

Beautiful old time updated hotel with friendly front desk and extra special treats when you check in to welcome you. The decor is quite charming and exquisite. The bathroom had nice updated fixtures and nice space to set things on the counters. A bit of road noise outside with people talking.… Can eliminate if you just close the window and turn on the fan. Wonderful location in town, easy to walk to all the sites to see. Overall, it is a very nice charming place to stay and we really enjoyed our room.

Yelp
A nice hotel between the hotel and the Center of town (perfectly located in my opinion). The room was big with a massive bathroom and even a little hallway. Big nice beds. Couldn't get wifi to work though as I only once could see the ssid in the room with one bar reception. Breakfast was an amazing experience, the breakfast lady looked after us and made sure we had all we needed... The choice was great. Though the breakfast is extra (€10), and there are a couple of very nice coffee places towards the train station which I'm sure also would been great!

Yelp
A lovely looking hotel ...unfortunately we were placed in a hot room on the 2nd floor facing construction. The bathroom was tiny but clean. I couldn't sleep at all during my time here due to the noise and heat, and wish we had stayed in another hotel. Breakfast was good with lots of options. The noise and heat were a deal breaker for me. Also, we had to park a distance away and carry our luggage to the hotel since there is no on-site or very close by parking.
