Where to Stay in Paris (Updated 2025)

"I found this boutique three-star super stylish with air-conditioned rooms decorated in bright pops of color and an arty flair; rooms are small but well-designed and include a flatscreen TV, electric kettle, and free Wi‑Fi, some have balconies, and it’s just a short walk to the Pantheon and Notre-Dame." - Matthew Kepnes

The 8 Best Hotels in Paris (Updated 2025)

"This stylish three-star boutique has a distinct arty flair—each air‑conditioned room features bright pops of color like colorful duvets, murals, and in some cases colored lights, and a few rooms even have balconies. It's a short walk to the Pantheon and Notre Dame; rooms are not huge but well designed and include a flatscreen TV, electric kettle, and free Wi‑Fi. There's a simple continental breakfast with fresh daily croissants available for an extra charge (good value), and the bathrooms are small but modern with colorful tiles and showers that have good water pressure." - Matthew Kepnes

Rooms are clean and sufficient, but tiny. Front desk Diane was spectacular with service. Elevator barely fits 3 thin females or 2 with luggage. Halls and carpets are dated. Easy to walk most places. Overall a good choice but Americans be aware that you won't have a large room to move around in.

The hotel was exactly as expected, based on other reviews I read. Great location near bus and metro. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, but the street was quiet at night. Staff was kind and welcoming. The room was small, but the closet had great spaces for storage. Breakfast was delicious and had good variety. You could hear people talking while moving through the hallway, but not between rooms. Everything was clean and well-maintained. We would definitely stay again.

Terrific hotel, great location in the Sorbonne area. Very quiet and safe area. Front desk staff were lovely. Very helpful. Kosky on the night shift was great. Breakfast was great value, fresh choices with lots of variety. Bed and rooms are so comfortable. Overall great value. 5 stars Thank you!

An ideal place to stay in Paris. Excellent location, close to numerous historical sites, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The room was very clean, the air conditioning worked well, the beds were comfortable, and the water pressure was strong despite being on the fifth floor. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

The rooms were very nice, and the bed was huge. The air conditioning was fantastic, and there was an elevator. The only thing missing, in my opinion, was a mini-fridge. I hope they install refrigerators in all the rooms soon. The staff were very positive. The location was perfect.

I stayed three nights at the Hotel Wyld, and it was great. First and foremost, kudos to Diane at reception. Super friendly and very helpful. She really set the tone for my stay. The location is very convenient to many sites (Notre Dame, the Pantheon, the Sorbonne), and transport (including the RER B train from CDG stop at St Michel Notre Dame is an easy walk), and a true value. The room was very clean, comfortable and quiet, even with a room overlooking the street. My only (small) complaint would be that the shower floor was a bit slippery. Many cafes and restaurants very close by. Highly recommend.

The best thing this hotel has going for it is convenience. The rooms are small but clean, and even though it is on a busy street, our room was very quiet. We were a little nervous when there was an oompa band playing across the street earlier in the evening, but they wrapped up by 9 PM. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see, and a lot of museums and popular sightseeing sites are close by. Dianne, who was working the front desk, was very helpful by helping us set up transportation and provided us with lots of valuable information.

The location is excellent, you can walk anywhere from the hotel and we did. The rooms are very well equipped, everything worked perfectly and the bed was very comfortable. The front desk staff were very hospitable and helpful. I'd go back to this hotel in a heartbeat!
