Hotel X Brisbane Fortitude Vly, Vignette Collection, an IHG Hotel

My boyfriend and I stayed here the other night for 1 night getaway to celebrate my birthday. The hotel itself was lovely as were all the staff and we overall enjoyed our stay. The front desk staff/ladies were friendly and did everything they could to help and accommodate us upon both check in and check out. The rooftop pool and bar were really good as is the views! Amazing!! It’s a great hotel and prime location! Enjoyed it and would recommend! The only downside to out time here was that we had on 2 separate occasions, 2 stained towels (both a pool side towel and a bath towel) that on first use of a fresh towel had some stains. And was a bit disappointing that there was no free/complimentary bottles of water on offer in the room. It meant that we ended up walking to a nearby convenience store and spending more money than we wanted to on some bottles of water. And the fact that, even though my boyfriend upon booking had specified in the notes that it was for a birthday celebration.. Nothing was done or said to add anything else special or different to the booking as a way to say happy birthday. Just some feedback for future improvements.

What a wonderful experience to stay here during my wedding preparations. The room, the facilities. Even the little things like the bathroom amenities were well presented. But it was the staff that really made the stay. Attentive, friendly, and knowing it was my wedding, went above and beyond to make me feel extra special. Thank you so much - Mrs C

Unfortunately only stayed one night after a cancelled flight, but the staff, location and amenities made it a memorable stopover. Great bed and quiet rooms. Beautiful rooftop bar with amazing service. Location was brilliant to explore Howard Smith Wharves. Would definitely stay again.

In general great location and hotel. However, it doesn’t make sense for the housekeeping staff to clean the room at 4:00 in the afternoon. That service should have been done by 11:00 the latest. Obviously we didn’t bother. Beds were late made by us. The minibar should be check before checking out. We didn’t use anything from the minibar and got charged days after for something we didn’t consume. We also got charged $524 that the receptionist on duty had no idea how it happened and why. We were booked in this hotel by Jetstar when our flight was cancelled and replaced with a flight the following day. The staff were very helpful, the food and wine in the restaurant were very good, the hotel rooms were comfortable and well furnished. I would question the star rating as I would expect a 5-star to have an extra level of service over 4-star which I didn’t see in the very short time I was there. ||Due to our circumstances we got there late and had a very early start and just needed somewhere to be able to sleep. It rained for most of the night and it appeared the architect had decided to cover what I assume were concrete ledges outside the windows with metal sheets which amplified the rain drops in the room and as I didn’t have any earplugs I struggled to get much sleep at all!

My partner and myself have stayed at the hotel 3 times and each time we have enjoyed our stay. Not only is the location, rooms, service and price is great but, also the double glazed windows are soundproof. The hotel is quiet and you don't hear much through the walls. We stayed yesterday for the night to celebrate my partners birthday, and we received a bottle of sparkling which was lovely. Until next time.

Attended the Tapas on the top floor. Staff suspect on attentiveness and the food yummy. Typically for Australia I would remind staff to maintain eye contact with customers in their section. It's a front of house issue where staff tend to be inattentive and wonder about not looking at customers. It's a huge minus for me when I have to signal and wave at staff. Being 3rd generation hospitality the gold standard was staff assigned to sections of tables and keeping eye contact with patrons. Other than that I enjoyed the experience.

Stayed here many times, always guaranteed of a great experience. Boutique hotel with clean upscale hip rooms. Super friendly staff genuinely interested in ensuring you have a great stay. |Rooftop pool & restaurant are awesome . Room service menu is excellent.
