Horrible customer service and administration. Beds are hard as a rock Location is nice though

We stayed in this hotel for two nights, and it was a blast. The hotel is very well situated, from the dock you will have either 5 minutes of taxi (5000 COP) or 25 minutes walk. The room was well furnished, and we had a charming view of the sea. We had the dinner and breakfast included they were both excellent; you have the choice between three plates, and it has been changing every day. The staff was delightful and professional; a biologist explained all the tours with a presentation. There are also cocktails that you can drink directly from the jacuzzi; they are good and relatively cheap. I enjoyed the "Coco loco" and the tequila candy very much. The sunset is splendid, and the beach is located only 100 meters from the hotel. It is a place I would most definitely recommend. Thank you to the staff for such a great stay.

Enjoyable stay, accessible to beach and walkable for exploring around the tiny town/locale. Beach is swimmable and walkable. We were there off-season (not sure when and if there is an 'on' season) so it was very quiet, with only a few home-made bars open, and felt like a recent storm maybe knocked off some beach front properties for the long term, but we really liked it. Food was nice. Quaint location this 'town', but memorable and worth visiting.

This is the best hotel in Ladrilleros.||||I traveled with my wife and kids (6 and 4) in the second week of august 2015 and the hotel offered very good service for all of us, the food was delicious and the personnel was very kind and helped us with the kids: They divided the portion of an adult for the two kids, cooled the hot drinks for them and were very kind. We ate different kind of fish every day.||||The rooms are nice and clean, the place is beautifully maintained all the time.||||The hotel has an incredible view to the pacific ocean, and you could go to the beach when the sea tide allows for it. The energy of this powerful ocean is amazing.||||You should previously arrange all the excursions with the hotel (we went to wales sightseeing and mangrove swamp), in order to assure good rates and attention.||||You must take your drinking water with you (the water is abundant at the place, but is not potable) and because you arrive in a boat, you must pack all your belongings in plastic bags, as long as your bags could get soaked in the boat trip and the weather in Ladrilleros is very humid. Only local currency is admitted and bring low denomination bills in order to negotiate and buy crafts that are directly sold by the ladies who make them: indians||||I would go again to this place and hotel, you get disconnected from the civilization, but wi-fi is available at the lobby.||||I totally recommend this hotel!

This site is a mix of excellent and some things to improve. ||||Exceptional things: ||-Location: At the edge of the cliff above the Pacific Ocean, the view is absolutely beautiful.|| ||-Kindness: The managers (Luz Marina and Patricia) are outstanding. They are aware of communications (phone and mail) and have very organized site. The information provided is accurate and reliable. ||||-Food: It is very good in general terms. They offer fresh fish and meat. Good breakfast (fruit, eggs, fried flour, rice, coffee or juice). ||||The rooms at the hotel have air conditioning and its own shower. I think it's better to stay in these rooms because the humidity is very high in the area. ||||The cabins are a little more rustic and more capable (8-10 pax), but no air conditioning and showers are outside the cabin (altough very clean & fresh cold water). Cabins are cheaper than hotel rooms.||||The cleanliness of the whole site is excellent. The bathrooms are beautifully maintained. ||||The pool for adults and children,& jacuzzi have excellent maintenance. ||||Security in the place is very good.||||To improve: ||The mattresses are a bit hard. Would recommend to take a mattress protector with you. ||The sheets are a bit small for mattresses so during the night become loose and embroil. Bringing your own sheets would be recommended. ||The hotel provide towels, but take one of your own for the beach.||||Our accommodation was in low season, we had no problems of overcrowding nor noise. ||||The area is not easy for people with physical disabilities, if you require wheelchair assistance or significant physical assistance it is not a recommended place. ||||Very close (less than 500 meters) there is access to the beach, but access is definitely difficult and dangerous to elderly or physically disabled. The beach is absolutely beautiful. ||||I recommend as a guide in the area Mr Armando Arroyo, he is an extremely kind and responsible person. He offers an eco ride that is unforgettable. Stayed one night. It was recommended by a local as one of the best. They advertise wifi but it didn’t work in the rooms. Has one small tv. Beds not really comfortable. I found the place a bit dirty and unkept. They have some water drains from the property going straight to the beach where you have to step into it in order to reach the beach. Kids play in it thinking its a natural spring. Menu is really limited to the same rice and fried fish. Buffet style. Not a place where you can sit and have a beer with dinner. A beer you can buy at the reception which is pretty much the pool house. Saw dolphins in the morning from our balcony. While you have a view of the ocean the property its on a huge hill. Bad if you have someone with knee problems or mobility issues. Staff was mixed with friendly and some that didn’t even respond to good morning. To get here you need a boat ride from buenaventura to juanchaco and then a mototaxi cart to the hotels. Would not stay here again.

It is not a well developed tourist area. But the hotel is one of the best choice to stay and for the national park. The please is cosy and clean. The food is very good and fresh. The service is very nice and the staff will explain all of the things you need. The view is excellent and the hotel is just located above of a large and beautiful beach.
