Hotel Yurupary

My family and I stayed here while on a vacation in the Amazonas. The good: The location is fantastic and at the center of everything. The pool was very nice and a great addition to our afternoon relaxation time. The bad: The service we received by the front desk ladies was condescending, rude and dismissing. My wife simply asking for extra blankets was met with a rude attitude like it was not their job! This occurred on Friday June 6th between the hours of 12pm to 9pm by two separate women. Why would you get into the customer service industry working with people but not enjoy people!????

I usually do not give reviews unless is so good or wat too bad. In this case the worse ever. Avoid the headache, Staff is unwelcome, Room are dusty and dirty. Noisy until 11:30 -12 midnight by a store across the street. I was changed to 3 different room becouse There were issues with Dirt, mold or leaking ac . Do not go by the pictures, This hotel eqs made maybe 40 years ago and never remodel. All the repairs in building are low quality, And the service is the worst. The only good thing is the location, but still not worth it to stay here. Ni vayan a este hotel La atencion es horrible Los cuartos horribles Caro para lo q ofrecen Vayan a otro hotel y ahorrense el Dolor de cabeza.

😊: Ideally located in Leticia' main street. Quiet hotel with a good local restaurant nearby.. 😢: No hot water but it is often so in Amazonia..

😊: Allowed us to check in early. We arrived about 9.30am having come on a boat from Iquitos. The pool was amazing to cool off in. Beds were comfy with decent pillows.. 😢: Breakfast was up on the third floor quite a hike up of stairs are not your thing..

Leticia is a great place to stay to explore the Amazon area. Its easy to get to from Bogota and there are some good restaurants. We did one of the standard tours and one day exploring deeper into the jungle on our own, arranged with a captain we new through the hotel. The hotel was very good overall. Its in a good location in Leticia, with easy access to the airport and restaurants. The breakfasts were good and the room was comfortable. We didnt have time to use the pool but we saw others using it and it looked good. The only problem we had was with an aggressive tour guide who would hang out at the hotel try to find tourists to reserve his tours. We saw him being very rude to one of the hotel staff and we decided to make a compliant becuase of what we witnessed

I was very disappointed with the hotel service. We were in the town and looked for a hotel that we could enjoy after being on our jungle tour. We were shown a spacious room with a king sized bed and lots of space it was perfect. When we returned to the hotel we were given a terrible room on the third door curtain rod fell off when we tried to close the blinds, wifi connection did was poor, very limited space and open window with a bug flying in it. It was nothing like the original room we were shown. I would rate that room 1 out of 5. ||We asked to be moved one group was allowed to but my husband and I were told there were no other rooms. There was one person who spoke English but he wouldn’t help. I was very dissatisfied with the service. I decided to check online and various rooms were still available. I went back to the front desk and was ignored. Really disrespectful and poor service. We eventually got a room on the first floor. The pool was nice and so was the room. Everyone in are party was tired and just wanted to rest. I would not recommend this hotel the stress and the lack of service was not worth are time. This incident caused our group stress and wasted over an hour of our time. I did not like being lied to there was plenty of rooms available we were only staying one night. Unfortunately I do not have a picture of the 3rd floor room. It was less than 1/2 the size of the 1st floor room and the king size bed barely fit the room.

The room looks a bit old and would need some renovation, however it had all the basics needed and required. The bed was HUGE (it was perfect!) and for someone like me who cares about the street noise, it was isolated. I didn't need my earplugs to sleep, which is a plus. Breakfast was perfect, it had a lot of choices and we enjoyed it. The pool was also nice too, opened until 9:30pm and the water temperature was perfect. I would recommend it
