Location is probably the only good thing about this place. Service is bad, lady at the front desk didn't even greet us. She seemed upset from the get go, not welcoming at all. We ask for 2 extra cups for my kids and she said she didn't have any, my husband asked to rent them, she pulled out two more cups. Room had AC however it is an overall very noisy place. Don't plan on staying here again.

Great place all around, clean and quiet, very easy to book directly at the entrance. Everything seemed well maintained and the pool is big and beautiful!

Impecable, beautiful, colonial hotel. Affordable. Excellent location in Downtown. Friendly staff. I will always come back to this hotel. Whether you travel solo or with family / friends. Just a few blocks from Downtown Main Square. Good for travelers without a car. Renting a scooter or bike for a day is also available next door to the hotel..

Tried to rent a scooter from this place. Told me to come back 4 hours later when scooters would be available so I stopped looking for other scooter rental places thinking I had found the one. 4 hours later and it's night time. She has a scooter and wants me to sign the appropriate documents. She wants my passport as security but we start reading online that a passport might be required to enter chitchen itza, so I am not wanting to take that chance. I read their contact and it clearly says passport or 3000 peso deposit. So I offer her the money and she refuses it saying I need to give the passport. This is her contact that she expects me to sign but if it isn't even being honored by her then why should I trust any of this. She calls her boss to see if the money would be ok and she promptly gets off the phone and says she can't rent the scooter anymore even if I give her the passport. Terrible 😔 all other scooter rental places were now closed and our dreams of scooting ourselves to chitchen itza were now dead. Thanks alot lady:(. Turns out the passport was not required for entry to the ruins. On a good note, the collectivos leave a block from the ADO bus station starting at 6 am and cost 150 pesos all together for a return trip for 2 people. 45 minute drive. I wouldn't rent a scooter from here until they change the contract or their attitudes.

Great location, but you want to try your luck elsewhere. The shower drains release a pungent smell of sewage that stinks up the restroom and seeps into the bedroom. I assume it's all the rooms of this hotel as we got moved around after complaining about the smell.

Very good for the price.
Cheap, great location (just a few meters from the main church and downtown), hot water if you needed, fresh pool for the summer, parking lot and staff was nice.
Things we didn't like:
No microwave
No mini fridge or similar even at front desk.
Super slow wifi
