Hotel Zen Airport

For an airport hotel this one is really great. We had two king beds and were on a stopover to rest before an early morning flight. The room is huge by European standards. The staff was super friendly and we ate at the restaurant which had a great selection of food. We didn’t use the pool. The beds were excellent and comfortable. The AC unit wasn’t the most powerful but it cut the heat and kept the room at around 24. Typically we stay somewhere like an Ibis or Holiday Inn. This placed exceeded these expectations and our room was on the ground floor which was nice with our luggage. Parking lot felt safe and secure as well. I do not agree with others who said this is like a super8. I have gone into super8 to stay and turnaround and left.

We stayed at Hotel Zen for a week in July and really enjoyed it. It’s a simple, clean, and cozy place, not luxury, but had everything we needed. The room was cleaned every day, AC was super cold, and there’s a small pool to cool off in.|Staff were super friendly and helpful. They picked us up from the airport and offered free rides to and from the beach, very flexible with times too.|There’s a small Irish bar and two restaurants at the hotel. Great location, close to the airport. Perfect base for exploring. Would definitely stay again.

A great find doing a Google search nearby the Malaga airport. The only problem is, I wish I had discovered it sooner. The room was super fresh and great clean, the amenities were excellent, and the staff provided great, friendly service. Loved the vibe and decor of the place too.

I do not recommend this hotel. The hotel has a nice pool and a small bar. However, the airport shuttle wasn’t frequent enough and didn’t run reliably, which should be clearly stated on booking sites. This is why i ordered the hotel in the first place! The cleaning was poor, even though the cleaning staff seemed nice! English communication is almost impossible if you don’t speak Spanish. Some staff were friendly, but others were awful and unwelcoming. The location is okay, since i enjoy walking. But it’s a long, hot 25-minute walk to the beach and shops. I did not try the breakfast here. I stayed seven nights but only recommend 0-1. The price is way to high for what you get!! I wont be back here ever.

My partner had some work in area so we stayed Friday to Sunday. Free courtesy bus from airport that they send you a video via WhatsApp to locate once there.||Very welcoming reception, all staff are absolutely lovely throughout, nothing appears too much all very happy.||Great bar menu and separate evening meal one. ||Irish o'neills bar near pool, portions on the large side. Indoor and outdoor seating.||Didn't sample breakfast but had lunch and evening meals.||Great bar drinks menu and coffee, frappucinos and ice cream.||Room was not on the large side but spacious enough and do have a variation of room types and good shower with drench head and separate removable shower spray too.||Wheelchair accessible rooms and access around hotel with ramps.||Hairdryer in bathroom, tv in room, table, chair and small fridge. Safe in wardrobe.||Free parking. In a nice residential area and local mini market about 3 minute walk away.||It's in great location to explore or if you just want to chill.||Even ideal for lone travellers wanting to relax.||Small gym and has sauna but didn't use.||Would stay again

Stayed here with my 16 year old son for 5 nights. Had an excellent stay, was well priced for the hotel, nice little pool to cool off in, hotel is clean and tidy, room was cleaned daily, ice cold AC, nice little Irish bar for a beer, ate at the restaurant most nights, fair priced Italian style stone baked pizzas/lots of pasta dishes with vege options. Staff were really friendly. Was great for a base for us to explore and also close to the airport.... I feel it suits adults/older children more than young families but that said there were young families staying and enjoying themselves.

A reasonable hotel if you are spending a night before an early morning flight. Rooms are small, buy clean. Quite noisy at night! The room we had was on top floor, so no body above us, buy there was a lot of mechanical noises and running water all through the night. Made it quite difficult to sleep. Stair case to the rooms was extremely steep and slippery. Need extra care if you have luggage.

Hotel is clean and modern. Shuttle is very convenient. I called 30 min ahead to arrange pick up from the train station and they waited for me even though I was running late. Everyone is friendly and helpful!
