I do not recommend this hotel. The hotel has a nice pool and a small bar. However, the airport shuttle wasn’t frequent enough and didn’t run reliably, which should be clearly stated on booking sites. This is why i ordered the hotel in the first place! The cleaning was poor, even though the cleaning staff seemed nice! English communication is almost impossible if you don’t speak Spanish. Some staff were friendly, but others were awful and unwelcoming. The location is okay, since i enjoy walking. But it’s a long, hot 25-minute walk to the beach and shops. I did not try the breakfast here. I stayed seven nights but only recommend 0-1. The price is way to high for what you get!! I wont be back here ever.

Stayed here with my 16 year old son for 5 nights. Had an excellent stay, was well priced for the hotel, nice little pool to cool off in, hotel is clean and tidy, room was cleaned daily, ice cold AC, nice little Irish bar for a beer, ate at the restaurant most nights, fair priced Italian style stone baked pizzas/lots of pasta dishes with vege options. Staff were really friendly. Was great for a base for us to explore and also close to the airport.... I feel it suits adults/older children more than young families but that said there were young families staying and enjoying themselves.

Honestly. This was fab. We booked last minute for myself and son to be near airport. Turned up early and they got my room ready before the check in time. Customer service was great. Pool was 2 twin beds and was small but spotless clean with everything we needed. Heated pool was great. Had snacks at Irish bar and food and staff were lovely. Went to the Pizzeria on the evening and again food was lovely and staff were great. We visited the bar inside and the reception throughout our stay and the staff were great. Top customer service as far as we were concerned. Booked the shuttle to airport. Arrived exactly on time. Another great service. Would deffo return if in the area. Lovely stay. Thankyou

Very clean and friendly. Staff are very helpful. Unfortunately, they don’t open the pool until 10 am which is ridiculous when it’s hot and you want an early swim first thing in the morning. The pool bar is also often closed. So if you fancy an early swim first thing in the morning, you may reconsider!

We stayed here for 4 nights and had breakfast included. The staff were friendly and spoke good English, they let us leave our bags after we had checked out. Breakfast was self-service and had a good range of foods to pick from. Our room was clean and spacious and we really enjoyed having our own private outside seating area. The hotel is easy to access from the airport via the metro. The only one slight drawback was that the room wasn't ready at check in (2pm) however they resolved this within 20 minutes. Overall, this hotel was good value for money and we had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Hello everyone, I chose this hotel only because of the advertised shuttle service — they claim to have an airport shuttle every hour in the morning. Unfortunately, that is not true! The shuttle does not run every hour — it only runs if you have a flight. If you’re not flying but simply need to go back to the airport (for example, to pick up a rental car), they won’t provide the shuttle. So, considering this hotel is right next to the airport, not having a reliable shuttle is a major downside. Sadly, I won’t be staying here again. A few more issues to mention: • If your room number is 200 or higher, be prepared — there’s no elevator. I had to carry my luggage up four different staircases just to get to my room. Definitely something to be aware of. • And finally, the lovely surprises waiting in the room: a clogged shower, a cracked mirror, and a broken shampoo dispenser that was barely hanging on with a single screw. Wishing everyone a great day — but I don’t recommend this hotel.

The hotel looks nice but the customer experience is terrible, during our 2 day stay we checked in at 10.30pm, and at 10.30am the housekeeping entered the room without warning while we were undressed and sleeping. Again at 1.30pm the housekeeping is knocking on the door. This hotel does not have Do Not Disturb signs available and they don't seem to understand that people book a hotel at the airport to relax and to sleep. The staff are rude and unhelpful, we spent 40 euros on dinner and 200 euros to stay there and they wouldn't even let us buy a cup of ice from the bar, even though they have an ice machine. I do not recommend this place at all. 0/10 for customer service. (Edit: I didn't leave the hotel or buy any drinks from a supermarket. You say that your hotel lives on sales, then why not SELL me some ice? I bought drinks both at your bar and your vending machine. Sorry but your customer experience absolutely sucks at this hotel.)

Mixed Experience – Friendly Staff but Several Issues I recently stayed at Zen Hotel Torremolinos and had a very mixed experience. On the positive side: Around 75% of the staff were friendly, helpful, and did their best to listen and assist whenever possible. Housekeeping came every day to make the bed and change the towels — though they did not change the bedsheets during our stay, which was disappointing. The general cleanliness of the room and common areas was good. The pool area is also nice and well-maintained. However, it closes at 8 PM, which feels too early, especially in the summer. It would be much better if guests could access the pool or at least sit around it in the evenings to enjoy the atmosphere both day and night. Unfortunately, several issues affected our stay negatively: For two days, there were power outages during the daytime for several hours, which meant no AC during hot weather. Our food in the minibar was spoiled and had to be thrown away. When I politely asked the receptionist about the situation, her response was, “It’s not our problem. We contacted the electricity provider for a solution.” She showed no apology or empathy, which was disappointing. The Wi-Fi barely worked throughout the stay — constantly connecting and disconnecting, which made even sending messages difficult. The power outlet near the bed was broken and was never fixed. The room was much smaller than advertised in the online photos, with no side table or coffee table. Although we were offered a water boiler upon request, there were no cups, tea, or coffee provided — a small gesture that would have gone a long way. The walls were very thin, and we could clearly hear guests in neighboring rooms, especially when they were using the bathroom. The bathroom air vent was also extremely loud, sounding like a train. These negative aspects affected our stay negatively, especially considering we were only there for five days. The hotel has potential — mainly due to its cleanliness and the kind staff members — but it really needs to improve on the service, communication, and basic amenities to offer guests the quality they expect.
