Hotel Zen

The hotel is well located on the main road between the temples of the Western and the Eastern group. Our room was spacious, clean and well maintained. Hot water was provided safely. We enjoyed the view of the green courtyard from the veranda in front if our room. The check-in process was quick and easy. To get in contact with staff was by phone, because they might not always be on site. Really good was the complementary tea (hot lemon and ginger)! It was offered and provided at any time of the day on our request. Unfortunately, it can get really noisy at night because there is a wedding venue close by. There was a wedding on 3 of our 5 nights. Apart from that and a big pilgrimage group that arrived at 4:30 am, the hotel was very calm without any noise from the road. The owner of the property also invetee us to dinner and even took us to an Indian wedding - an exceptional experience! :-)

A friendly host , a beautiful garden, Rajesh guide is very good guide and very caring person. Must visit and stay at this hotel if coming to Khajuraho.

We chose this hotel because of its good location and couldn't understand the mediocre reviews. We were given a warm welcome, the price is negotiable and the courtyard is beautifully designed with lovingly tended plants. The staff are very friendly, we were invited to dinner and learned a lot about Indian culture and tradition. Our room and bathroom was very clean and given two thick blankets for the cold nights and felt very comfortable here.

I have just spent a very relaxing five nights in the hotel. The location is in the heart of the historic area. The owner Jaresh was most welcoming as were all the staff and the new receptionist. Lovely lemon tea provided on arrival and available daily. My room was big and bright on the second floor veranda, great area to relax as was the Zen garden filled with plants and lovingly cared for. Jaresh is a very good host and full of knowledge about the town and extended area. All in all a great experience and I would highly recommend this hotel
