Hotel is in a fantastic location right in the middle of town overlooking the valley down to Granada|The rooms were very warm which was great as it was so cold outside|The rooms and hotel were very clean |The shower was strong and warm! Which helps massage the muscles after a long day skiing!|The Moose Bar in the hotel is a great place to relax and unwind after a day out skiing - and have a wide selection of meals available too! We even managed to watch a live game of football on the large screen TV|We also had reduced parking at the main parking space underneath the hotel!|All in all a great hotel and a great weekend away skiing!

We spent 3 nights in this hotel as a taster for skiing again after 6years. We drove from the Algarve and had a fantastic time. The public areas in the hotel are beautiful. Staff all very friendly. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Set up for skiers couldn't be better. Underground car park with a lift straight to the hotel. Individual lockers for ski gear in car park and lift 5 minutes from gondola. Literally no faults and we will return. Outdoor bar with heaters and blankets is truly luxurious. Cocktails essential. Buffet dinner great value with lots of choices.

Breakfast is good, hotel is fine for a 3 stars but there is no wifi in the rooms only common areas although they have wifi devices in all corredors. Too expensive for what it is. ||Very noisy in early morning as the cleaning trolley starts making noise at 0730.||||Parking very expensive (24 euros per 24 hours) as is not included in the room price||||Good location

The room was basic, but comfortable, although very warm. The reception and bar were nice, the staff were helpful and the breakfast was very good. However the main drawback was that the corridors and rooms were all tiled, so any noise was amplified. Footsteps, suitcase wheels, voices and doors closing all echoed. Also WiFi was virtually non-existent even in the public areas. Would not stay again.

Perfect location with ski lockers on level -2 with a quick lift up right to the entrance of the gondola meaning it was so easy. The hotel is also a great location and we had an amazing view that looked over the mountain bellow. Very warm, great shower and always clean towels and room. The breakfast was good however I think due to covid options were greatly reduced as there was nothing hot. Staff were helpful and we had a lovely stay here

Amazing location but otherwise it's fairly standard. Breakfast is timed at 30min slots which you have to book. For the price we paid I was not impressed with how staff made us feel for missing out spot, especially as the breakfast area was quiet at the time. The rooms are fine but the best aspect is the locker room you have to store your ski gear at the base of the main slopes. While it's expensive it was worth it to not have to walk up the steep steps to the old town.

Hotel Ziryab is in a great location for skiing, being 100m from the main lifts and just as close to lots of bars and restaurants. |The service was friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel decor is outdated but functional. Breakfast offered a wide choice but you had to set a 30 minute time slot when you checked in and everything was served with paper plates and throw away cutlery. The worst aspect of the visit was that the rooms had very little noise proofing. We could hear people talking in the corridor and in other rooms but the worst was the breakfast trolleys moving around at 7 am on the floor above us, which were very loud. The prices were fair and access to the car park was very good.

Hotel Ziryab complain with booking to take my money nearby 2500 euros. I try to change one of 3 rooms for more night. Booking.com said would ask hotel to change but it was notorious that they was agree together to take my money because Zyrab told it was Booking that didn't accept to change and Booking told it was the hotel. || They promote the room and they rent to another person, after take 2500 euros from my VISA Card. Be careful with booking.com and with this hotel in Sierra Nevada. This is a Crime and I'm in the court to take my money back, but have to advise other potential victims. Booking use my old card weren't active and could charge the money without 3 digit code....

Yelp
I was torn between a 3 or 4 star rating, so it is more of a 3.5 rating for our first time here. *Please note that wifi is non existent in the rooms. They only work well in the reception and dining areas (level 0 and -1). They issue a key ID that is good for 7 days and one device, so if you have multiple devices, ask for several key IDs. Check in/Check out: We arrived late in the evening around 10pm but there were no issues. We were able to check in with ease and the front desk staff gave us all we needed for our weekend stay. Check out was not an issue as well, very easy and without any troubles. The staff here are very helpful. They also helped me make my reservation over the phone even though my Spanish speaking skills are non existent. The hotel also gives a big locker for your equipment that is located just below the lifts on the -2 level of the parking garage. All you need to do is leave a 20€ deposit with them and get it back after returning the keys. Car Parking: located on -2 level, so upon arriving, just look for signs. Bring your parking ticket with you when checking in. They will stamp it and this gives you a discount for parking. They will instruct you to bring this discounted ticket to -3 level of the parking garage and you can pay ahead of time. Very easy and a good rate. Location: You can't get a better location than this. The hotel is situated in the main plaza area that is the hub for getting lift tickets, rental equipment, and restaurants. This was the winning factor for us. it was very convenient for us to walk out of the hotel and be in the plaza without having to walk up and down any hills. Rooms/Dining: The hotel itself has an older feel but overall it is nice and cozy. We were given a room on the -3 level that faced part of the mountain. Overall, the cleanliness of the room and facilities were good. The only negative feeling about the room was that the beds were very uncomfortable (which gives the 3.5 rating). We had two twin beds pushed together and Thin mattresses. You could feel the bed springs with any movement you make. The floors are tiled and cold so bring warm slippers to walk. Walls are thin so if you're a light sleeper, take note of this. There is a safe and small refrigerator provided in the room. Our rate included breakfast buffet. Hours are from 8-11am and can be very busy the first hour as people are trying to load up before the lifts open. They offer hot and cold items and plenty of beverage choices. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. The only problem we had was the bed. After a long day of snowboarding, it would be nice to be able to have a bed you could easily fall asleep in. I've read lots of reviews about this place and the common issue is mostly the uncomfortable beds and wifi issues in the rooms. Hopefully the hotel can take note of this to improve their facilities.
