A Beautiful Location for Families, with Room for Improvement We stayed at Hotel Zora in Primošten as a family of five, with children aged 14, 8, and 3. The location and the beach are absolutely superb – truly the highlight of our stay. The sea is just steps away, and the surrounding scenery is stunning. We booked the Premium Club Suite Seaside and Seaview, which is advertised as a 4-star experience. While the room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and comfortable, the overall impression is more in line with a 3-star standard, especially considering that parts of the hotel are clearly in need of renovation. We hope this is something the management addresses soon, as the potential is definitely there. The view from the room was breathtaking, and the sound of the waves made it extra special – a lovely touch for anyone seeking a calming experience. As for the staff, we were very pleased with the reception and cleaning personnel – truly professional and kind. Some of the restaurant staff were equally excellent, while others unfortunately seemed unmotivated or disinterested. A smile and some enthusiasm go a long way, especially in hospitality – and if the role doesn’t suit, there are certainly many eager candidates out there. We had full board, and while drinks are not included during lunch and dinner, there was a 15% discount voucher available for use in the hotel’s restaurant and bar facilities during the stay. The food was varied and tasty – not gourmet five-star cuisine, but homey, fresh, and delicious, which suited our family perfectly. We really appreciated the effort put into offering good, satisfying meals every day. The beach area offers sunbeds, umbrellas, and cabanas for an extra charge. We chose to rent a cabana daily, and it was well worth it. Filip, who manages the cabana beach area, was outstanding – friendly, efficient, and always helpful. Renting a cabana also allowed us to create a little personal space, which was important, as some beachgoers didn’t respect personal boundaries. One area that really needs attention is the parking situation. While everyone can access hotel parking for 20 euros per day, it seems that many non-hotel guests are using it to access the beach. Unfortunately, they often ignore the parking policies, occupying areas intended for guests seeking a more serene, tree-covered beach experience. Even worse, many of them leave trash behind, which affects the overall atmosphere and cleanliness of the beach. We believe the hotel should enforce better access control and beach maintenance to protect the experience for paying guests. In summary, Hotel Zora is in a dream location, perfect for families, with strong potential if renovations and staff consistency are prioritized. We had a lovely time and would consider returning – especially if improvements are made in the near future. We wish you all the best! Thank you!

The hotel has two beach bars: the one just in front of the hotel has quite slow service but the beer is good, the beach bar right next to the beach has a good service thanks to Zvonimir. What ANNOYED US the most is that there are only two toilets outside and there is constantly a cue. You have to go to the toilet 10 minutes before you have to pee, otherwise you face the risk of peeing yourself while waiting…

We spent more than week in Hotel Zora. By this way I would like to thank you to all Zora team for the great service. The location of the hotel is excellent, the beach is stone throw far away and the historical center of Primosten less than 8 minutes of walk by sea promenade. The hotel offers variety of very delicious food of all kinds, that is not repeating and even for breakfast is always different. We had got also great room for our bus driver. All this words are confirmed by a large group of more than 50 clients we had in the hotel and without disputes also approved by me, the director of the travel agency TM travel and certified mysterry shopper in tourism with 20+ years of experience. We got more, than we really paid for. Thank you for your hospitality and see you next year.

We had a very pleasant stay. The place was clean, comfortable and located in an excellent position. Close to city center and everything we needed. It offered great value for money and i would definitely recommend it. We will come back for sure.

No go hotel!!!! No quality for that price! Sad but true, not good experience… such a great location but you feel thrown back in the 80‘s! Bext time I rather take a room in town since the hotel does not fulfill the requirements! No beach beds for hotelguests free, you have to pay additional 20 euro per day!

The air conditioner didnt work. No weight room as described. No loungers or umbrellas on beach. Just a regular room. Wifi not working last day. Was very disappointing only good thing was breakfast lunch included. Very run down on the grounds.

We are returning guests since 2006 having visited Zora 6 or 7 times since then. This early season visit was very relaxing. Best greetings from Denmark ;-)

We are on a two week cycling trip in Croatia with ExperiencePlus Cycling. We love the gorgeous routes, seaside accommodations, private dining selections - all good. This hotel is well situated for a lovely swim either in front of the hotel or on the other side in an lovely cove. We swam in the cover - pebble beach, crystal clear water, and not a lot of people. We were close enough to walk into the island town for a lovely lunch. The hotel is a huge property. Our room was clean and we had a balcony were we could open our door for a sea breeze at night (and dry our cycling clothes). While the room was basic and clean, the hallways and furniture were a bit dated and run down. Marco at the front desk was exceptionally helpful.
