Hotel Restaurant zum Hirschen

Our stay at the hotel was truly excellent. Very warm and welcoming hospitality, great cleanliness, and a very spacious and extremely comfortable room. The atmosphere was cozy and pleasant, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location was brilliant right in the center, with the ski shuttle bus very close by. A grocery store was only 100 meters away, and ski rental was just 30 meters from the hotel, which was extremely convenient. Special thanks to Flori, who was always there for us throughout our stay. He is a very kind, noble, and exceptionally respectful person. We would highly recommend this hotel without hesitation!

Wonderful traditional Austrian meal at the Hotel Zum Hirshen last night celebrating the end of our fantastic family holiday in ZellAmSee. Warm friendly atmosphere and if you fancy some apres ski, head diwnstairs. We pre booked a few days in advance by popping in to chat to staff and read the menu in multiple languages. No issues at all. As a table of 7 Inc children we were warmly greeted by all the staff and the service throughout the meal was absolutely fantastic, in typical Austrian style. Special mention to the head waiter from Romania and colleague from Greece who looked after us so well. Super friendly, attentive to drinks and excellent suggestions on wine and starters. The Weiner schnitzel with potato salad was best we had in Zell. Family enjoyed the chefs choice starter, mains of Boiled beef, roasted potatoes and whipped spinach, cheese fondues and prawn tagliatelle. I'll be booking again for my next visit in March. The location is very good, you can go the gôndolas in 5 minutes, to the train station too. The staff is very good, helpfull. The rooms are big and clean so is the bathroom. The breakfast is very good with a lot of options. The restaurant too, the service is very good , Bosco one of the head waiter knows the wines and knows how entertain

We loved our stay at Zum Hirschen. We were right in the center of the village, and very close to the slopes. The staff were lovely. Breakfast was included, and they had a ski store for us to keep our kit in. This hotel was very pleasant. We would stay here again!

Group of 6 ate here and it was very nice but main course and one drink cost 45 euro per head . Ribs are really nice but a little dry.

During our visit to the restaurant, we were quite disappointed with the elevated prices and the perceived lack of value. The bill included a charge for bread that we had not requested, and the dishes themselves were merely satisfactory, rather than exceptional.

I don't know anything about the hotel but the restaurant was great. Delicious food and excellent service! Recommendation: Chataubriand. Thankyou🙏

This is a delightful hotel on the edge of the little town of Zell am see. My room, with a balcony, was large and very comfortable, with a sofa. desk and chair as well as a huge bed. The room was cleaned every day by delightful girls. Service throughout the hotal was excellent, and one felt that the staff were pleased to get to know their customers and make sure they had the right drink etc. Food was delicious, with a very extensive Buffet breakfast and a four course Dinner.|Because the town is mostly pedestrianised it is easy to wander down to the lovely lake, about 5 minutes walk. There is the option of boat trip on the lake which is lovely. There are plenty of restaurants serving local specialities.|I would totally recommend the Hotel for a very pleasnt stay with a nice family atmosphere.
