Hotel Restaurant zum Hirschen

The location is very good, you can go the gôndolas in 5 minutes, to the train station too. The staff is very good, helpfull. The rooms are big and clean so is the bathroom. The breakfast is very good with a lot of options. The restaurant too, the service is very good , Bosco one of the head waiter knows the wines and knows how entertain

We loved our stay at Zum Hirschen. We were right in the center of the village, and very close to the slopes. The staff were lovely. Breakfast was included, and they had a ski store for us to keep our kit in. This hotel was very pleasant. We would stay here again!

The restaurant’s location is good, right in the middle of Old Town Zell am See. We were looking for beef schnitzels, and this was the first place we came across. We asked the lady standing at the entrance if they served it, and she said yes — which is why we decided to eat here. We ordered beef schnitzels from the waiter, but to our surprise, we were served chicken schnitzels instead. When we asked about it, the waiter insisted — almost accusing us of lying — that we had ordered chicken. He then added, in a very unprofessional manner, “Sorry, I can’t change anything and he left us in a sudden .” The chicken salad we ordered was good, and the chicken schnitzels were just okay, but the overall experience was disappointing due to the poor service and attitude and definitely I won’t go back again.

The hotel is very welcoming, warm and friendly greetings. The room was very spacious and spotless. Bathroom modern and the shower powerful. Bed was very comfortable.|Food both at breakfast and dinner very well prepared and tasty.|The crowning glory though has to be the staff. They are friendly and helpful, nothing appeared too much bother. Vasco our waiter was engaging and entertaining with great humour.|We would stay again in a heartbeat. Wonderful 👍

Nice hotel, clean spacious room , good food, friendly staff, central location within the town. Their English is better than my German. I'm a picky eater but always found something to eat,just ask. Tourist information daily at your breakfast table with things to do in the area.

This is a delightful hotel on the edge of the little town of Zell am see. My room, with a balcony, was large and very comfortable, with a sofa. desk and chair as well as a huge bed. The room was cleaned every day by delightful girls. Service throughout the hotal was excellent, and one felt that the staff were pleased to get to know their customers and make sure they had the right drink etc. Food was delicious, with a very extensive Buffet breakfast and a four course Dinner.|Because the town is mostly pedestrianised it is easy to wander down to the lovely lake, about 5 minutes walk. There is the option of boat trip on the lake which is lovely. There are plenty of restaurants serving local specialities.|I would totally recommend the Hotel for a very pleasnt stay with a nice family atmosphere.

Had a lovely stay at this hotel with my daughter, son in law and grandson. We had two rooms which were both lovely and a nice Austrian feel for our skiing holiday. Food was lovely and the staff were very friendly.|Breakfasts were really nice. |It would of been nice to have a little choice for the evening meal rather than a set menu, maybe a supplement to the main menu. This is something you may wish to consider, but other than that we had a wonderful stay at your hotel and would definitely recommend and return too . Thank you for a lovely stay!

We stayed for a week in this lovely hotel. It is well placed for exploring both the lake and the mountains and has good transport networks close by. It is next to the main road which can be busy during the day. Was it a problem? Not at all.|The food was great and plentiful and tasty.The breakfasts were amazing. |The staff were efficient and helpful and a real joy. I thoroughly enjoyed chatting to them, they were kind and helpful.|I would like to say a big thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable. Hopefully I will be back soon.
