Hotel Zum Löwen

Hotel located in the heart of a small town. Stayed a week in grand suite at 3rd floor. Elevator present. Plenty of space and storage room. Quality of beds: average; not very comfortable. Two big LED-tv's. Small minibar. Airco did not cool room (quickly/adequately). Just one degree Celsius in 6 hours: disappointing! During hot days room temperature at night remained 26 degrees Celsius. Not comfortable. Noisy: church bells ring every hour; also at night!. 'Rituals' amenities: minimal in number, not really useful. Personnel & staff very friendly. Great service. Truly & sincerely guest-oriented: "family feeling". Breakfast quality not in line with costs (€23). Every day same food; no variation. Restaurant at hotel: nice, affordable menu. Good quality. Best in town. Overall observation: nice hotel for a short stay. Grande suite is overpriced. Hotel could upgrade quality of its breakfast: more choice, more variation and more communication/focus on feasibility of a guest's specific menu wishes.

Great hotel with fantastic breakfast in the heart of the old town. Nicole at reception was amazing and helped us with everything we needed without hesitation. The ladies at breakfast were also friendly and helpful. Room a bit outdated and the bathroom could have been cleaner. Would stay again.

We had dinner at this cosy hotel...the food was excellent fine dining...service was friendly & our waitress was courtious...I choose the beef burger for around 20 euros & it's one of the best I have ever had...the others also enjoyed there meals...the portions are generous but you pay for quality... restaurant is open plan & cosy...the deserts are excellent & highly recommended...

Hotel of Excellence, both for the service and the quality of the facilities and meals. Excellent Spa. A place where we feel "at home" and where we always want to return. Beautiful decor. Very good resturant. Excelent SPA. We will definitely stay here when we return to Duderstadt

Lovely little town with atmosphere. Very calm, not many tourists. Great stop-over close to A7.|Nice restaurant with classic German specialities. The weather was good so we had dinner outside on the market square.|Modern room, good gym, pool and spa. Quiet alternative to Goslar. Very good value for money. We had breakfast at the bakery across the pedestrian market square. 14 euro for 2 including pick-nick food as the breakfast included so much. Breakfast at hotel is 18 euro/person.|Convenient parking 50 meters from hotel 10euro/day.

The hotel is modern, very comfortable, very clean. Staff are very friendly, the breakfast was awesome!|The room was a great size, large bathroom. All fittings quite modern. The only comment is the bedding is unusual (not sure if this is a German thing or not). Our 'double' bed was actually 2 singles joined together, but with separate linen for each side of the bed. Great spa/sauna and salt room area as well. However again (another European custom, we are not used too) nudity is expected.

Hotel clean and tidy breakfast was also good.

We visit the beautiful little town of Duderstadt and stayed at the most wonderful hotel Zum Löwen. Friendly staff and nicely renovated hotel - beautiful old building but top modern. Top nice hotel rooms with nice decor and facilities.||There is a small spa, free for guests, which a nice and cozy as well as a top modern well- equipped gym.||Both the city and this amazing hotel is worth visiting! Highly recommended and we will for sure be back!
