Location is good. It’s walkable to places of interests. They have free valet parking. And they parking is quite flexible too. Service in general is great. The room is good. Just one of the beds is not flat. Water is strong enough and hot enough. Bathroom is quite spacious. The only complaint is the bathroom sliding door makes loud noise.

Really a great place to stay. Convenient to venues, restaurants, and transport. Anna at the front desk is incredibly good at her job and a delight to interact with. The room was comfortable and quiet and the air conditioner worked well, even during a heatwave. We got great sleep all four nights we stayed.

We were very impressed by this hotel which had fantastic customer service with friendly, knowledgeable, and unusually caring staff. The hotel was modern and up to date and extremely clean. The room was very comfortable with very comfortable bedding and bathroom. We enjoyed coffee in the mornings at Cafe Origine attached to the hotel. The location was central, allowing walking throughout the city for exploring.

Hotel10 is my go-to hotel choice when visiting Montreal. My family and I have been staying at Hotel10 every time we visit Montreal for over the past 10 years and it never disappoints! The rooms and amenities are always spotless, the service and staff are extremely helpful and attentive and the breakfast buffet is incredible. It is in a great location that is central to the best restaurants, bars, activities and transit stations in the city. I would highly recommend staying here when travelling to Montreal.

Google
Pros: location is perfect if you want to visit Montreal for a couple of days. Most of the key spots are walking distance from the hotel ( Mont Royal, old city, downtown, nice restaurants etc). Our room was very big, facing the petrol station but fairly quiet. Cons: quite disappointed by the valet service at the entrance as the person did not offer to help for the luggages (just gave the trolley but had to do everything myself). People at reception do not help much and did not explain anything when we arrived. There is a water dispenser on the ground floor but it would be good to have few water bottles in the room. Breakfast is nice but choices are limited and quality of the coffee fairly poor.

Phenomenal location. Great size rooms and bath as well, and staff was kind. Cleanliness could be a bit better, but we didn’t find to be a problem. Nice option to visit with pets, we also had a nice view of the city. We’d come here again, for the location primarily as all the best food spots are nearby and most things you’d like to see are walking distance. Underground car park is also helpful. Highly recommend the cafe connected to it, stellar coffee there.

Google
Hotel 10 is a nice place to stay in downtown Montreal. The location is convenient as it is near the downtown area, but easily walkable to the sights in the Old Town and Old Port (about 20-25 minutes, mostly flat). The rooms are good sized and clean and the bathroom in particular was nice with a big comfortable shower. The staff was very helpful and polite.

Google
Loved My Stay at Hotel 10! Hotel 10 was a great choice! The bed was really comfy, which made relaxing after a day out so easy. Pillows weren’t quite my style, but everything else made up for it. The location is spot-on—right in the middle of everything. I especially appreciated the valet parking—super smooth and hassle-free. And as a pet owner, I was so happy it’s pet-friendly! I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Montreal.

Yelp
We stayed there earlier this summer in 2022. Four nights of very pleasant stay, friendly hotel staff, easy and free parking, rooms comfortable, good hot water and force in the shower, and above all, the coffee machine and the coffee pods in the room was really excellent. It was way better than any coffee you buy in the US at Starbucks and Peet's. My wife and I loved the coffee and loved the stay there.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel! It just makes you happy walking in! Very artsy and beautiful rooms. Loved the outside courtyard. Loved all the details in decor! Located right on the heart of all kinds of things to do. (Bars & restaurants)

Yelp
Loved staying at this hotel during our vacation week in Montreal. Very nice modern decor with a cozy feel and terrific service. It's a boutique kind of hotel with an updated twist. It's centrally located and close to everything. A lot is within walking distance, or quick cab ride. They offer a car service to drop you off around the city area if needed. Bar and restaurant on site, or just walk across the street to Tin Horton's and the gas station/convenience store for coffee, donuts, and assorted drinks and snacks. Good gym on site for those staying here can use. Outdoor lounge too and a club/bar to party at. They charge for parking and it's a bit pricey but you get a secure space for your car with in and out privileges. The rooms are well done. Comfortable beds, clean, free wifi, large shower, and polished concrete ceilings. Very cool. Room rates were ok and worth it to stay here. Would definitely choose this place again if in Montreal.

Yelp
The hotel was quiet. We had a room facing away from streets. We found street parking a few blocks away for Free to avoid $30 valet. (Street parking on Hotel de vaulle ) the front desk will explain how to reading parking signs so you know where you can park. We had the hotel car take us to old town. They only require a tip and will not pick you back up. The rooms are huge, clean and modern. The toilet has a separate room from shower and sink room. The breakfast is buffet style and cost extra. We did not have it. There is an umbrella in the room for your use. There is neat artwork in hallways. It is about a mile walk to old town. The festival area is 10 minute walk. On the other side of Sherbrooke there is a pedestrian street with local restaurants. It is more residential.

Yelp
Impressed with Hotel 10 centrally located in Montreal. Beautiful, modern yet cozy interior. The lobby was spacious and had a full service bar/lounge. The two sets of elevator doors were always opened and ready for hotel guests to be taken to their floors. There was an outdoor lounge connected to the bar and during the evenings became a chill area equipped with music. Not sure if an actual dj was spinning music, but even though my room was directly above the outdoor lounge, the music was not annoying. The room muted the sound enough so that I can get a good night's sleep. The room decor mimicked the lobby, i.e., both modern and cozy. The bed was comfortable and roomy even though it was a queen. The pillows and sheets were cottony white and clean! There was complimentary buffet breakfast/brunch during my stay...not your usually Hotel hot breakfast.....but of course, there was a French flair added! I can't rave enough about this gourmet breakfast brunch. On my first time, the Chef introduced himself and gave a nice tour of the choices that were available that morning. You must try the croissant/muffin french toast! I repeat the croissant/muffin french toast! Only served twice during my four breakfasts/brunch treks. I didn't even feel like I was missing out about wandering to other nearby eateries for breakfast. The breakfast brunch dining area was so lovely, again roomy, modern, cozy and again with the French flair! I always gave a few dollars tip; always appreciated by Chef and staff. Directly across the hotel was a Tim Horten's located inside the convenience store of a gas station. Fear not! The store was not sketchy at all, nor were the folks. It was clean and food was fresh. The donuts were so yummy. I realized on my last day there that just a few short blocks away, was an area full of eateries and shops. I was informed that many ex-pats lived here. I recommend staying at Hotel 10! Free Wifi during your stay; once you check out Wifi is no more, so make sure you do your social media posting prior to checking out. Staff was courteous and friendly, amenities clean and tasty, ensuring a pleasant stay.

Yelp
Very clean, and lots of nice touches, like a Nespresso machine in the room instead of the usual hotel coffee machine. The staff has been so incredibly kind, as well. Excellent location, walking distance from so much. Dog friendly!! There is self-parking in the building with in/out privileges and EV charging in the garage. If you didn't drive here; there is even car rental in the garage too! The hotel is strikingly beautiful, with a modern addition tastefully connected to a gorgeous historic art-deco building. Cafe Origine is connected to the hotel, and they've got great coffee and croissant, too. I can't say enough good things about our stay here! Will definitely be back!

Yelp
It's a renovated modern hotel in the central part of Downtown, which is convenient. Nice modern decor with a cozy feel that reminds you that you are in a historic building, of a sort. The lobby is beautiful and there is a winding staircase in the back, like a medieval castle. The only downside is that if you do stay in the older section of the building, you will WAIT for hot water. Like 15-20 minutes. Beyond that no complaints. There is valet parking for $28 CAD and the staff are very helpful and kind. There is a nightclub in the building but we did not hear anything too loud. They also offer a car service within 2.5 km and there is a Tim Horton's down the street that is open 24 hours. If you are from the US, it is very similar to The Standard and the 21C.

Yelp
I came to Montreal on a whim and booked Hotel 10 because of its boutique style and price. I want to talk about the good first. The lobby is relaxing, upbeat music plays and the staff is wonderful. The rooms are large with a private toilet area, large shower, nice little touches like the washcloths being rolled up and tied with pink ribbon, nice shampoo, conditioner, soap. The lighting in the room and bathroom are good. There are also a nice bathrobe and umbrella in the lighted closet. The room also has a large window so you can see the city. The bed is also super comfy. These are the things that I like about the hotel, especially the staff! There were a few things that simply got under my skin that I want to share. I am a outdoor person and one thing I enjoy very much is sitting outside after a long day of sightseeing and having a glass of wine and a snack. There is a beautiful terrace, it's the only outdoor access that the guest have. I wanted to sit out there both nights and the first night was a party that had been reserved for the terrace area. I was like okay no problem I will enjoy the terrace tomorrow night. I came into the hotel the next night around 9:00 pm went straight to my room, grabbed my bottle of wine, went to the terrace and the door was locked. I was so disappointed, I went straight to the front desk and the young boy working said he would ask why it's closed and let me know. I waited in the lobby and opened my wine hopefully going outside and I guess he got off of work. He did not acknowledge that he checked on the outdoor seating.

Yelp
This is a great property, love the fresh style and it includes breakfast with our company agreement. Rooms are nicely appointed and modern, just needs a little more light. The staff especially in the restaurant was amazing along with the buffet which serves hot, cold and fresh fruit. It has a bar which I didn't try but looked very friendly and bright. Check in and out staff at the front desk were extremely helpful especially the door men and bell men. When I visit Montreal again I will ensure that I stay here. Taking into consideration of the strong US currency, this is a fantastic deal for any US visitor. It is not right in downtown but close walking distance to a ton of eateries especially Sumi Dojo which you can read my review. I don't think you will go wrong in visiting and staying at this nicely appointed hotel.

Yelp
Stayed here in October 2013 as part of our honeymoon for 5 nights and had a fantastic experience! The service was spectacular, the elevators have the nice security feature of requiring a room key and our 5th floor room was quiet, modern, comfortable and large. The only night the club was loud was Saturday and I expect that is a problem for people on the 2nd and 3rd floor rooms, but it was completely unnoticed on our 5th floor room. Location is great- St. Laurent has a plethora of restaurants and clubs. If you're up for a run, it's quick to Old Montreal. A metro station is a 5 minute walk away that gives access to the rat of the city. Only one negative experience was my last night; my wake up call for 4:45 AM occurred at 5:22 and the night auditor tried to convince me it was 4:45 "according to his phone." Then he immediately called me back to tell me my cab arrived so when I went down, we had a chat and he admitted it wasn't 4:45 when he called and that he couldn't because he was "too busy." I loved this hotel, but this guy's excuses were lame and could have cost me making my flight, thus knocking off the 5th star.

Yelp
The location of this hotel is decent, but not as convenient or close as other options. The area for valet was not clearly marked. The room itself was decent - comfortable bed and nice size bathroom. It seems like the building also features condos, so the fitness center was bigger and nicer than most hotels. It included a dumbbell set, cardio machines, tower, etc.
google avatar

Kim G.

Yelp
The rooms are nice, clean and spacious. They also had a nice outdoor area where we had a beer after a long day walking around. The location is good for walking all around the city. Unfortunately it's also close enough to a fire/police station that we heard sirens all night. Theres also a lot of party people on the streets. I live in chicago so I'm used to normal city noise and occasional cops rolling buy, but this was happening a lot. There is also a group of junkies on the corner trying to get money from washing windshields. I realize this isn't the hotels fault, but hearing people yelling CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN all night does not make for an enjoyable stay. Overall it wasn't bad, but there are probably better options.
google avatar

Yelp
We were pleased with our stay at this hotel. It was Christmas time and quiet compared to the party reviews. It is centrally located in Montreal and within walking distance to many activities. The shower was awesome as well lol

Yelp
I really didn't expect it to be such a good stay. I came here with staff on a business trip and didn't think it'd be so fun. The staff was wonderful and the parking was easy. They were accommodating and we didn't get any complaints, even though I think we probably drank too much in the rooms. It has a nice location. the price was reasonable. the experience was good. We even all worked out together. Really the 5 comes from the fact that it out performed my expectations. It isn't really a "top hotel" in my books but it deserves a good score for karma. great job staff and co

Yelp
Had a late check in sat night Labour day weekend. Staff very helpful, friendly and attentive. Gave us directions to street fairs, restaurants and hints. Rooms are spacious, clean and well kept by house keeping. Central to bars and restaurants. Beware rooms facing gas station will be noisy due street traffic from cars, pedestrians, ambulance parking at gas station for emergency dispatch.

Yelp
Last minute decision to finally drive to Montreal brought me to Hotel10 - thank you hoteltonight app. (I mean it was either that or watch Honeymooners reruns all weekend - Montreal won). The location is perfect - walking distance from old town and port, right next to St Laurent with all its restaurants and bars, and close to St Denis if you want to do some shopping. Design is modern chic, which I always loved. Complimentary bath robe, oversized rain umbrella and huuuuge shower are big plus. Keurig coffeemaker in the room is cool too. It also pretty quiet - polished concrete ceilings (darn kewl), carpeted floors, and covered walls - good soundproofing. I saw college kids with party supplies go to room next door and was prepared for much noise - did not hear a peep. Garage parking is convenient, and I am tipping my hat to most awesome valet. Free wifi - good speed. Huge gym room, clean, spotless, with fresh towels and ice cold water. Breakfast is Ok-ish, I rather prefer eating elsewhere. However, Jargo lounge at night is pretty decent to grab a drink or dinner. One word to management and my only disappointment - is how they maintain it. Carpets on ground level need cleaning, headboards need to be dusted, and hairdryer bags need to be cleaned. I don't enjoy finding other peoples hair there.

Yelp
We didn't have a very good stay at all. The room was nice and clean enough (the windows were really icky and floors needed a good sweeping and mopping but otherwise it was fine) but there was several really annoying things that pretty much ruined our experience. First, 30 minutes after we checked in they called the room to let us know they forgot to make us sign a paper, waking up my sleeping baby resulting in a cranky overtired little mess. They then came to knock on the room at 9:30 pm to make us sign said paper. Second, we were told breakfast was included wen we checked in but after I made a plate we were told that "No it's not included" and the resolution was "We won't charge you for the one plate" leaving one of us with no breakfast. All the while I felt like the customer service left to be desired and staff was not very helpful in coming to a resolution. It may be small things but it really made me feel like I was not very valued as a customer.

Yelp
Despite what Priceline, Travelocity etc say this is NOT a 4-STAR hotel. My bad for trying to get an online deal....Motel 10 is not for business travelers or long term guests....my review based on 4 nights in an amazing city: Positives: - The Valet will take you upon request to most places within a 5 mile radius...even to the stadium for a hockey game! You need to find your own way back. - The rooms are large with lots of workspace - Location - can walk to several lo-mid priced restaurants - next trip I will opt for old Montreal for sure, closer to better restaurants - I get the feeling the staff would be more helpful if they could - comfortable bedding - free wifi BUMMERS (in no order as they are numerous) - $30 parking - lack of housekeeping - they basically come in and change the sheets (well I think they do). They leave water for purchase but do not replenish it or even remove empty bottles. I had it finally ask for more water. See my attached pics, bathroom in rough shape with shower walls not scrubbed. Pretty sure they do not vacuum or sweep as dirt and dust on floors and corners. - Room Service - get this....you can order from a limited menu but that menu does not include beer or wine. If you want beer or wine you have to go downstairs to the bar and bring it up to your room....but don't forget your credit card like I did because you can't charge anything from the bar to your room. It gets worse...first night I ordered salmon, the food was cold by the time I got it but was so burnt out from a brutal day at work I ate it anyway. The bar is crap, zero selection, despite the fact that they display all kinds of wines. The wine I had tasted like it had been open for a week. Make sure to stay on the side of the hotel farthest away from the nightclub, although I did have some guy banging on my door one evening. Really miserable experience..... Buyer beware.

Yelp
I visited this hotel during my mini new year's vacation. The ambiance of the hotel is amazing and the steak restaurant had a wide variety of menu items. The customer service staff is friendly and professional. The location is in the center of downtown Montreal and only a short walking distance from Chinatown and a metro station (if you choose to ride the train). Cons: The brunch was unorganized and set up like a family dinner. I didn't know who to pay or how to pay until I went to the customer service desk to ask them to guide me through the process. A portion of the hotel is under construction. I would rate this hotel 3.5 stars if that was an option, but I am in a good mood, and since the room was comfortable with no problems, I rate it 4 stars.

Yelp
Hotel 10 is in the perfect location to visit Old Montreal as well as most of the parks and more residential areas. We arrived around lunch time and luckily our room was available so we were able to check in and get settled before heading out to explore. The woman who checked us in even wrote down some recommendations for restaurants to check out. The room was well appointed and clean - it even had an umbrella in case you needed on during your stay, which was nice as it poured on our last day. The hotel seemed a popular place for Bachelorette/Bachelor parties so the early mornings (2-4am) can be a bit loud with the rowdy crowd come back in from the bars. Housekeeping could be a bit better timing wise. They didn't seem to show up until 4pm or so. The wifi code also stopped working after a day so had to go back down to the check in desk to get the new code. There's a very nice outdoor terrace area and the bar service out there was perfect - decent wine list during happy hour and the bartender was extremely attentive and friendly. On the last day, we also ate in the bar area - the smoked meat sandwich was acceptable, although the price was a bit high for the amount of food you received. Overall a nice hotel with a superb location. They also have a complimentary car service that will drop you off within a couple miles of the hotel if you don't want to walk which is a nice perk!

Yelp
This is the 2nd time I get this hotel through Hotwire. I would not give it 4 stars. -No à la carte breakfast. Only scrambled eggs and other specialties seating on heaters. No mini bar, and the restaurant or in-room delivery menus are very slim. -This is a dog friendly hotel... which is great if you have a dog but not so great if one barks by your room day and night when you are on a business trip. -The cleaning service is sporadic. They simply did not clean my room yesterday. -The gym is very basic. This said the staff is very friendly, the Patio Beautiful, the music reminiscent of Hotel Costes, the gym small ( Please add more mats, they are really old and scratchy and should have been thrown away about 2 years ago) but convenient and the location convenient.

Jeffrey C.

Yelp
It's a party hotel, and if you're using it for said purpose, you'll enjoy your stay here. The rooms are spacious enough to accommodate more than your standard 1-2 guests, and the overall atmosphere and decor skews younger and faux-trendy (think Aloft). The lobby area is clean and inviting, and the front office staff are attractive and helpful. The biggest draw for this place is location. It's located off Boul St. Laurent, a hotbed of nightlife activity. Walking east towards Notre Dame and Old Montreal is also very doable, albeit a bit of a hike. There's a Tim Horton's and gas station across the street, providing easy access to water, refreshments, and a morning wake-up call. The only small downer is there's no immediate late night (re: 4 am) dining in near proximity.

Yelp
Fantastic experience here all around. The hotel is centrally located and a great spot for Bachelor and Bachelorette parties. If you are not there for one of those two or planning on partying...I can see why you might want to knock it down a few points. The staff here is fantastic. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful time and suggest food places. The club that is attached is loud and fun. We were on the 3rd floor and we could not hear it any night. We were fortunate to have complimentary breakfast and boy did it hit the spot. It was fantastic. Good mix of proteins and lots of coffee and tea. It may seem odd to have a meat lasagna for breakfast but when you have been drinking, you need it. We could even sit in their beautiful patio to have our meals. The room itself is large and they offer 2 queen beds as an option, while most hotels just do 2 full size beds. It's modern and clean. We had no issues with our room. If you keep your window open, you will hear the partiers in the street. I'd absolutely come back here again.

Yelp
A hotel that plans bachelor parties, BAD IDEA Was put in charge of hosting a bachelor party recently and this hotel seemed excited to serve us, Daniela even helped us plan our stay. First off, it's a knock off hotel. Reminds me of a 3 star Holiday Inn with snazier paint. Rooms are small, little amenities (no full restaurant on site) for the price of 5 star hotel. Complete money grab on the hotel alone. Problem is, their planning was awful. Useless. We couldn't even get in to the club they suggested and made reservations for on the first night. It was up saint laurance. Seriously???? The second night wasn't any better, we were forced to wait in line to get into the buenos noches for over AN HOUR with Daniela's reservation again. It was an awful experience. Their suggestions were awful, the reservations DIDN'T WORK, and we got completely scammed. And the place was full of other bachelor parties. No women at all- only other dudes.

Yelp
I stayed for two nights at the Hotel 10 and was very pleasantly surprised. The prior night I stayed at Le Westin and was concerned I'd not have such a nice room. Hotel 10s was equally as nice, and maybe better. Absolutely loved the large shower at Hotel 10. Great location, and the staff couldn't have been more friendly. Valet parking is $24 but for Montreal that's a bargain. There is a nightclub in the basement of the hotel which is great to have there. A suggestion is ask for a room that's quiet though as I did. My only complaint was the day of my check out was my birthday , and they still wouldn't give a check out after 1pm for me. This did upset me but Mr. Patrick Elbaz the manager immediately contacted me, and made things right for me. Strongly reccomend this hotel, and will definitely be back.

Yelp
Formerly the Opus, now Hotel 10, this hotel is well located on the corner of St Laurent and Sherbrooke. The central lobby and restaurant bar area has a cool, chic feel and the large central, exterior courtyard with it's big comfy chairs and partial rain and sun cover looks like it could be a nice place to chill and have a bite and a drink. The problem for me was that everything here seemed pretentious and half-assed. The overall feeling was of management not giving a fuck, though that may not be what's happening, that was definitely the vibe. Here's the main example, I was here for a couple days in a row during a recent festival/conference type thing. Each day a couple hundred people would be staying most of the day, moving between sessions, and connecting with each other. This is a natural environment for meeting someone new or seeing someone you haven't seen in a while, and deciding to sit out a session and grab lunch and a drink, maybe on the lovely patio. But on both days there was no table service. In fact, effectively no service at all, because they had one staff person doing all of the following: taking drink orders, making coffee, taking food orders, making food - including elaborate charcuterie boards - and oh yah also receiving orders and making the food for everyone in the hotel who was ordering room service. Just insane. Trays lined up to be taken to rooms, customers lined up at the bar trying to get orders in, and the poor guy looked like he was at his emotional breaking point. Not to mention, the food and wine is insanely priced - $7 for a cup of soup that was clearly frozen earlier that day and mass produced somewhere. Which took 25 minutes to order which meant I stood at the bar for all this time waiting for him to be able to take my order. The lady next to me told me not to make the mistake of ordering wine, you'd get a tepid glass of white and a bill for $16 like she had the day before. None of this was the waiter's fault, this is a management issue, and I'd love to see them invest in their staff, listen to them, support them, and help this place become the Plateau gem that it could be.

Yelp
Not sure why only 3 stars on Yelp. My room probably is probably a 4 and same goes for the hotel. I would stay here again. The older part is the hotel is fine other than it takes 10 - 15 min for the water to warm up. Secret according to the front desk is to turn the sink, bath and shower water on all at the same time. Such a waste of water! The only other complaint I have is the front desk needs more help. This place feels like it needs a good cleaning.

Rob N.

Yelp
Pros: - Good location. 15-20 minute walk to St. Catherine and the old port. - Breakfast is good. Bacon, eggs, fresh fruit, cheeses, croissants and juices. - Rooms are good sized. Cons: - Cleanliness is not a priority. The coffee mugs and drinking classes were obviously not cleaned by the staff. The mugs had drip marks and stains and the drinking glasses had lip marks around the rim. The carpets are stained and the showers show water damage. - As others have stated it's a party hotel. The club is very loud at night. - Parking is expensive at $28/day.

Yelp
Probably the worst service you could experience from a hotel. Terrible accommodations and no regard for customers

Yelp
Hotel is amazing just like the front desk service. Sabrina and Samantha will go out do their way to make your stay as great as possible. Rooms are clean and comfy. Bar is good and outside terrace is nice. Would definitely recommend

Yelp
I stayed here on labor day for just one night. The room was beautiful, very modern. The neighborhood was convenient. I only had one issue.... the woman working the front desk in the late evening was extremely rude. Very dismissive and would selectively speak English although she was capable, As someone visiting from another country, this made communication difficult. She seemed annoyed with having to help with valet parking and kept muttering responses that were completely inaudible. At the end of the transaction she basically completely given up on any attempt at being polite. Someone that works in customer service should be more accommodating.

Yelp
Avery nice establishment. The staff were friendly and professional. The rooms were cleaned in a timely manner while I was gone (no mint on the pillow tho ). It was close to everything I wanted to do and the staff had spot on suggestions of where to go and eat. Breakfast buffet was amazing but a little expensive for my wallet.

Yelp
Absolutely not a 4 star hotel!!!! Piss smell throughout the hallway on the 4th floor. Loud water pipe sounds throughout the night. Mauricio the front desk clerk beyond rude Watch out for nefarious characters at night...(pimps and prostitutes)

Yelp
Do not stay here if you like to sleep. The club downstairs seems to always be bumping, even in the middle of the week. This is my second stay here (gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time around) and it's the same story all over again - the bass trembles through the rooms and it goes on until at least 3 in the morning and now I'm still awake writing this review. I asked to switch rooms and the front desk brushed me off and told me to check back the next day. Unfortunately for me this is my company's preferred hotel and I'm stuck here another 2 nights... Also they don't have wireless internet in the rooms. Only wired. Yet another slap in the face.

Yelp
Stayed at this hotel during Igloofest. I live in St Laurent, had a friend come in from Toronto and decided to rent a room here rather than Ubering downtown and back. The room was AWESOME, the service was great. We needed some ice, no problem they brought it up a couple of times. The rooms were big enough we could accommodate a couple of friends in between venues. Its in a great location and IDEAL if you want a party pad. The only reason I didn't give them 4 stars is because one of my friends left her $700 dollar jacket in the closet and when we called about it they "claimed" there is cameras and no one turned it in. Sadly, I know that the maids could have easily taken it out in a garbage bag or wrapped up in sheets. I would for surly stay here again, as long as I got a good deal and would MAKE sure to check the room twice before checking out.

Yelp
No ceiling, no sleep... We arrived at Friday night, a bit worried about the noise level that almost everyone on yelp and TripAdvisor will complain about. Maybe because it was raining, we didn't even hear a thing and felt good about many things, including the room design and facilities. But first of all, the ceiling in our room is totally UNFURNISHED. No paint, no whatever. Very shady. At first we thought it was a special design. But it was 100% not... And Saturday was the real nightmare. We came back to the hotel at 2 am and realized our room was right above a rooftop bar which is VERY LOUD. People are drinking shouting and dancing with very loud music right below our window. This is a nightmare experience. I have to wait until 3 am to see if they would leave us alone by the time of closing. If you want to get any sleep during your weekend, just don't stay here.

Yelp
The new glamorous Koko Restaurant makes her home in the Opus Hotel in Montreal. Lounge in the terrace where there is plenty of room for sun soaking in the afternoon or nuzzling a lover's ear in the moonlight. In the Grand Salon, an electric green runway cuts through the stark-white room while bold furniture and statues stare back at you, like the giant horse lamp and the table garden gnome. The Petit Salon, draped in black velvet, is located in the building's original section and is an intimate setting for discreet encounters. Executive Chef Don Letendre of Vancouver's Opus Hotel, puts another spin on what we now call Asian-Fusion. You'll get Steak Fries with baby watercress, wasabi and uni butter. Another signature dish; Star Anise Barbecue Pork Belly Bites with puffed rice and Asian slaw. Resident DJs combine the latest electro-house rhythms from East and West and dining and cocktail service are offered late into the evening. Can you see why I am totally kookoo for Koko? Yelp
As a hotel, you're #1 obligation is to provide a comfortable space for rest and sleep. It boggles my mind that they allow their recycling company (private contractor, not picked up by the city) to pick up their recycling at 6:00 am. It's a nightmare being woken up to glass bottles being dumped into the back of a truck.

Yelp
It's 2:49 am Sunday. Laying in bed, I can hear the bass from the club pounding through my pillow. The only interruption from the incessant thud is the occasional argument between a cro magnon man and his girlfriend before getting in his 1996 Nissan Maxima. This would not bother me as much except that I read earlier reviewers problems with this and explicitly asked to be kept away from the club. I was told we are on the opposite side. My recommendation, don't take a room on the first floor. Aside from the crappy room assignment this is a clean hotel with friendly staff. I'm not someone who spends much time in the hotel room. It's a place sleep and shower. The shower is lovely.

Yelp
Pretty schnazzy hotel stay here at Hotel 10. Their interior decor and layout remind me greatly of what you'd find at a W hotel. The beds are wickedly comfortable and there is plenty of space to move around. The hotel is also conveniently located to many of the sights in Montreal. We just parked the car when we arrived and did not need to touch it until we were ready to leave. They are a bit small in size (5 floors only) and the bathroom separation from the bedroom is awkward, but overall, it is a pretty good stay and very clean.

Yelp
Yes it's true about the noise, just ask for a room on the rue Clark side. They do a club once a week on Saturday. It's an awful crowd, men and women all dressed in black, you know how it was back in the 90s. It is a nice hotel, convenient location. We had a huge room, freshly painted, huge shower, comfy bed. The Wifi worked sometimes, but that's how it was everywhere in Canada. We had a complimentary full breakfast buffet in the dining room which is very convenient, it had all the basics. Reminds me of a Kimpton property, so yes it's dog friendly too. No extra charge. Oh and the ceiling Susan mentions, it's quite nice and meant to be like that. Some people have no clue.

Yelp
I stayed here after booking a room through Jetsetter. I was a bit worried after reading the reviews saying the hotel was too noisy to sleep, but overall did not have any problems. We were in a room facing the street, so you don;t hear too much of the club noises. There's an outdoor lounge attached to the restaurant that has a dj on Saturday nights, and a below-ground club on the St. Laurent street side that was open on Sunday night. The latter was much cooler in my opinion, playing a ton of hip hop with lights and smoke machines. Very different demos at both the clubs. You can pretty much cut the lines or go in a backdoor by showing your hotel key and don;t have to pay any covers if you're a guest. The hotel is located on the corner of St. Laurent and Sherbrooke, within walking distance of almost everything. There's a metro station a block away, and St. Catherine street is about 5 minutes walking. The location is excellent. The rooms are large, comfortable and clean. No complaints there. My main issue with the hotel was the parking situation. On the website it says that they have 2 options: valet for $28 a night or self-parking. Reading that I assumed this meant they have a lot...which they don't. Your options are valet, or finding a spot on some street somewhere. This hotel is located in a very busy downtown area and there really is no street parking where you can leave a car overnight.

Yelp
I visited in February for my birthday and had an amazing stay! I stayed in one of the nicer suites and wasn't affected by any music from the lounge. We crashed a private party and enjoyed that as well. The club in the basement was fun and I'm usually not that type of partier. Bed was comfy and my bathroom was huge and surrounded by mirrors.

Yelp
The good: Staff (including our COMPLIMENTARY...YES COMPLIMENTARY drivers) and concierge were fantastic. The hotel is centrally located (no more than 20 minutes walking from anything we wanted to see/do) and a great value for what we paid on Travelocity. We also really enjoyed the complimentary coffee/tea/snacks in the lobby (great cookies). The only slightly bad: The room did have a couple of loose knobs and a loose toilet seat but these are quick fixes. After reading the reviews about the noise from the club we did request a quiet room which was given to us with no problem. I'd also like to add that our beautiful concierge made a point of telling the people checking in before us about the noise level on Fri/Sat and asked if this would be an issue...so no excuses to anyone who complains about this! A special thank you to our driver Lucas for being our "mini tour guide" and rain protector and to Sabrina for her professionalism and care!

Yelp
The room was nice and big, but I had nothing but problems with this hotel. Let me count the ways They do not have room service until 11AM - which meant I could not get a coffee delivered to my room when I woke up in the morning. I invited friends over for a drink on the second night I was there. The restaurant and bar closes early and room service closes early and I could not order any drinks, except to go through the mini bar service (They do NOT have a mini bar in the room. You have to call down to order). When I called for mini bar service, I was told that they had only one mini bottle (50ml) of vodka left and that was it! Sold out! How can a hotel be sold out of vodka on a Friday night? The water pressure in the shower was SO weak, it was ridiculous. One can't have a shower with a mere trickle of water. It was so pathetic, it was almost laughable. At the same time, the water pressure in the washroom sink was so strong and powerful, that when you turned on the faucet, the water sprayed out over the basin like a waterfall and splashed all over me and my clothes and the floor! What a Disaster! The bed was very hard and the bedding didn't quite fit the bed. Very strange! The only good things about this hotel was the bath robe and free wi-fi.

Yelp
Incredibly noisy rooms: one night was the nightclub in the basement, the second night was the bar on the ground floor. All floors, ceilings, and walls are this "modern" concrete, which offers zero sound absorption. Unless you get a room on the 5th floor, prepare to hear loud bass music until after 3am. Stole my stuff: I am certain that I accidentally left a few things in the room. After checking out, I called their lost and found and they denied finding them. Thanks bunches. Oh, and it took 4 phone calls to get that answer, too. Light Confusion: Just go ahead and try making any sense of the light switch arrangement in the room. Go ahead, I dare you. The electrician should be taken out and shot for such lunacy. Internet spottiness: The wifi here dropped out in the room repeatedly. Only downstairs in the lobby could you have any reasonable expectation of internet access. Pretty beat up: For a recently re-designed hotel, there is a surprising number of gouges in the walls. And the toilet seat was loose (although they did fix that pretty quickly). Good location, but for that price you should expect more.

Yelp
A friend and I stayed at Opus in Mid September of this year. We arrived early in the morning after an overnight bus from Boston. The reception staff checked us in without hesitation at 9am. Our room was spacious and luxurious. The king size bed was superb, especially for a quick nap after our long journey. The staff were friendly when we passed by them in the common spaces. We received free internet with our room rate and couldn't have been more happy with the value for money. We booked through a third party website to secure the best price. Great location, take a walk in any direction from the hotel and you are sure to run into something grand.

Yelp
This hotel was not bad and served its purpose. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, room service was quick and efficient. The location was great too right next to St Laurent. The room was not exceptionally clean and there were some lightbulbs that were not replaced in the washroom. The club downstairs can get a bit loud at night. They do not do a good job at patrolling the hotel at night it gets very loud in corridors. Overall a great location if you are expecting to enjoy the Montreal nightlife.
