Hotelito Swiss Oasis - Solo Adultos

I absolutely loved my stay at Hotelito! There is such a homey, intimate vibe which I really enjoyed. It is so well curated when it comes to decor and there’s a lot of attention to cleanliness. It doesn’t have many rooms so you get to know the other guests at the pool. Very handy to have a shared kitchen, and beers stocked in the fridge! The owners are lovely and their cats definitely a plus - would go back in a heartbeat 😍 oh and location. Perfect. Across from the beach and a slew of restaurants and bars.

This is an amazing place to stay during your vacation in Puerto Escondido. I was backpacking and initially booked two nights at this Hotelito. It’s a small guesthouse located very close to the beach, perfect for relaxing for a few days. The facilities around were excellent, and the hosts were absolutely wonderful. When I asked to extend my stay by another day, Manuela immediately said yes, which I really appreciated. The atmosphere was incredible—guests from all over the world, were open, friendly, and warm. We had great conversations by the pool, sharing tips about the best restaurants, bars, and beaches in the area. I would 100% recommend staying here to anyone. If I return, I will definitely book at this hotel again. Thank you, Manuela, for your warm welcome and for making my stay so special!

We stayed for five nights and were treated like family. Before we arrived the hosts were responsive to both email and WhatsApp communications. When we arrived, they gave us many suggestions about food and activities. The hotel itself is perfectly located near the central part of Zicatela Beach. The on-site pool was clean and refreshing. There are two cute cats and a squirrel who hang around the premises. The room was spotless and had air conditioning, beach towels, and lots of hooks. There was a kitchen stocked with beer, soda and water for inexpensive purchase. There was a secure gate which was locked at dusk. We highly recommend the hotel and would stay again without hesitation!

I just spent four weeks at the Hotelito Swiss Oasis as a solo female traveler. This little hotel is wonderful. Very safe and fenced in but just half a block from the ocean. The pictures don't really do it justice but the gardens are beautiful, the pool is spotlessly clean (I swam every day), the rooms are clean and comfortable with daily cleaning by friendly and efficient housekeepers. There is a shared kitchen and while some people prepared fairly elaborate meals I was happy just to get up in the morning and make a cup of coffee and I kept simple ingredients for nice breakfasts and lunches. There are many restaurants a close distance away. The owners live on the property and are very friendly and helpful and can answer any question (in four languages!) When I was there all of the guests in the older age group made friends and shared some good times together. I think the Hotelito is an especially good choice for single women because of the safety and because the layout of the property encourages friendliness among guests. The beds were comfortable, the shower was hot water, the ceiling fans were powerful, there was good cross ventilation and also good air conditioning.

My partner and I travelled to Puerto Escondido in February 2024 and had a lovely stay at Swiss Oasis! It truly is an oasis in what is already an oasis. Steps from the beach, if you're in town to surf at Playa Zicatela. Manuela was a great host and very communicative! She gave great recommendations for local restaurants. She even reached out to us when she heard about a protest blocking the highway from Oaxaca to make sure we were aware of the situation, but we luckily didn't encounter any issues.||We loved the calm atmosphere and the relaxing pool. Many amenities were also available and we loved having the kitchen and beverages available for purchase! Many restaurants nearby that would cater to anyone and also very easy to get around via taxi to get to other areas of Escondido. Would highly recommend the stay if you're looking for a relaxing and calm atmosphere and a pool free of screaming children. :)

There’s so much of the world to explore and as frequent travelers we’re going hard from dawn to dusk to see every museum, historical site or maximize our time away to the point of exhaustion. We often say when we come home - “we need a vacation from our vacation”|Hotelito Swiss Oasis is in the heart of Peurto Escondido and is MAGIC!! It gave us “THAT vacation” We wiled away the days going from pool to beach to exploring some of the cafes, shops and bars.|Manuela and hubby were STELLAR hosts that made us feel welcome from the moment we booked to waving us farewell. Such a zen like space to relax amongst beautiful plantings and traditional Mexican art. Everywhere you look there was something splendid to catch your eyes. SPOTLESS - Quiet- super comfy. You felt that you were being hosted by friends and every need was anticipated.|The beds were super comfy, the AC powerful ( it is HOT!!!!! In Peurto Escondido.)|Manuela has a contact for everything and her taxi person Jose ferried us around safely, politely and at a fair price. |Very cool assortment of well traveled guests who were also interesting to chat with early in the morning or at the pool. The common kitchen was great for a constant supply of water and coffee and if one were inclined you could “cook at home”|Small touches such as books to borrow and an assortment of lotions, sun block, shampoo and other things you may need were readily available.|Hands down one of the most enjoyable places we’ve stayed. |The hosts understand and live the meaning of hospitality.|Can’t imagine a better place to stay-|Hotelito Swiss Oasis the BEST |Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!

Great place to stay while in puerto Escondido! Cute pool area, nice and quiet at night. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet and private place to stay.

Awesome pool. Beautiful garden. Laid back feeling. Fruits growing in the garden. Wonderful people who own it. Communal kitchen to make your morning coffee....or cook breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks. Has everything you need. We stayed here 10 days, was a really nice experience. I would recommend to anyone. Super close to the beach, 90 second walk. Very well maintained. I loved the pool and relaxing by it
