Lovely staff, they have the most delicious pizza I’ve eaten in Sweden. Rooms are great for the price. Nice simple breakfast in the morning. Such a cosy little hotel. Will definitely stay again

Nice rooms. Only issue was that our room did not have blackout curtains. Decent breakfast without hot options but plenty of other choices.

What a big surprise. We got a nice room on second floor. They have the most serviceminded staff and a nice pizzeria on the first floor. The breakfast was moore than good enough. Yes, it was some noise from the street, if you get one of the rooms on the second floor, on top of the restaurant. But it was from people walking home from the city center. The location, the service and the staff is whort it. They also have a nice backyard . Totally they have 8 rooms in the backyard and 4 rooms on the second floor of the restaurant.

We were here in October. I can’t stop thinking about this hotel and how quaint it was. Staff were super friendly, eating area cosy and intimate. Rooms were cozy. Everything had a homey, cosy, Swedish vibe about it. We loved it!! Only downside is it’s not like a regular hotel with hairdryers, conditioners, body lotions and mini fridge. It was more of staying in a cosy room and experiencing the Swedish life. Also ask about the artwork. It’s beautiful photography.

The nicest people, so homely. The staff were incredible - gave us ice, free tea through the day, let me work from the breakfast / restaurant area. They made us feel so welcome! Yes the rooms weren’t the cleanest and could have used a desk in them but there was plenty of space, comfortable bed and effective shower. We stayed for IM Kalmar and although partner struggled with the stairs afterwards we were very very happy here. Thank you!

The staff were life-savers! They are all so friendly. All speak English very well. Check in is different from an American chain so plan ahead to be in hotel restaurant by 20:00, it make easy arrangements. The rim was so quaint and beautiful. Breakfast was so traditional. I loved it. I've missed Kalmar and it was good to make a visit back and stay at this lovely place. Wi-Fi is very slow and weak, but I didn't need much

Good location in the city, even if not perfectly central. Several restaurants around the hotel which has itself a restaurant. The reception ladies (same as bar) were nice. Room was good, interesting to see the old heating system inside. Had a good night sleep. Breakfast was good. The price is a bit high as there are no real extras, not even tea and kettle or fridge in room. The breakfast buffet area is tight. Noise at 8 in the morning in the interior courtyard. The paintings in the room can be a bit spooky or unsettling especially for kids (black and white, girl looking over the corner, old people in the bed with eyes closed looking perhaps dead).

Rooms are really nice and clean. Hotel staff is very cooperative. We arrived late at night so keys were left in self service box but instructions were really well written. I couldn’t thank the woman who helped us in person. Breakfast is also delicious!
