Very tiny single room but everything there that was needed. Good location & parking. Great staff speaking excellent English. Would highly recommend dinner, food, service, presentation & view over lake.

As soon as you entered the hotel and were received at the reception, you sensed an incredibly cozy and friendly atmosphere. The staff were incredibly helpful and very humorous. There are lots of cozy places to sit outside and many small cozy nooks on the different floors where you can sit in peace and quiet. The bar area is also nice. Fantastic breakfast with everything you can think of. Free coffee and tea all day. We will definitely be back.

Another little gem and highly recommended. |We booked this hotel as an overnighter, having flown in from Lulea (northern Sweden0 that afternoon and on our way to Budapest. The hotel is about 15km from Arlanda Airport, so quite convenient. Just beware (see my other review) of the outrageous charges imposed on a 15km taxi ride.by an “outfit” called weride. They pepper the arrivals door at the airport..||The hotel is actually a converted boarding school from the 30’s we think, but the Town, Sigtuna is the OLDEST in Sweden and very, very interesting. We only had a late afternoon to wander, but will be coming back to explore this fascinating town dating back to the Viking era.||Hotel Kristina is run by a family with the familiar, personal touch. Rooms are ok in size and the bathroom, also good with piping hot water.||The restaurant, breakfast and bar were great and the hotel features an outdoor sunroom/greenhouse which is heated. We sat “outside” with drinks and enjoyed the pitter-patter of rain on the glass panels.||By far the highlight was the staff who were exceptionally friendly, helpful and had a great sense of humour. ||Just be aware that access to reception is via steps although there is an elevator the staff can operate for luggage and mobility compromised visitors/guests.||The town, via Hotel Kristina is worthy of a dedicated day;s exploration if you are heading to Stockholm. |Highly recommended as stated at the outset.

The friendliest staff, a very clean room and a lovely restaurant make a winning combination! The desk staff went over and beyond to be accommodating, the restaurant waitstaff were very busy with a large group, but still managed to make us feel like we were the top priority.

On the downside, the room is a little small with a typical Swedish shower which drives me absolutely bonkers (water all over the bathroom floor every shower, they could make this a slightly better situation by having a squeegy for guests to use after to get the water all back into the shower area and into the drain). BUT, the staff is amazing...friendly, helpful and positive. The breakfast is incredible (and I am not even a breakfast person) with eggs done very well two ways, crispy bacon and "Prins korv"... freshly baked bread and rolls, cheeses, smoked salmon, herring and meats, melons and full spread of yogurt cereal and even plant based options (my husband is dairy free). Also a great location just a quick block down to the lake where there's a beautiful promenade and a few short blocks walk to the charming town. This is my second time staying here and I love this hotel. Tip, it took me a while to realize they do have a luggage elevator when you pull up to the hotel...you don't have to drag bags up the steps....just go in and ask for help if you have heavy bags.

We loved the locations 5mins walk into town and the main sites of beautiful Sigtuna. Our rooms were spacious, well equipped and had amazing views over Lake Malaren. Breakfast was plentiful, well prepared and super tasty. We made use of the luggage room after checkout. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We came back for breakfast a few days later which cost is £36 for our family of four.

We had a very lovely short stay at Hotell Kristina. The breakfast was excellent and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The beautiful terrace with all of it's flowers and comfortable sitting areas & the access to free coffee/water/tea all day long were our personal highlights. The rooms are simple and a little old fashioned - but clean and comfortable. The centre of Sigtuna is just a short walk away. It's a peaceful little town, right at the lake Mälaren. It's definitely worth a visit.

My partner and I had a great experience here at the hotel. Lovely staff, nice location, great room, great food. Though for my body type, the bed was FAR TOO SOFT, and the room strangely warm (even though we had a fan and the outdoor temperature wasn't that high), so I hadn't a great night's sleep. Sleep is super important in a hotel so I'm taking a star off because of that. But all in all, this hotel was far better than expected, and the presentation online before we got there didn't do it justice. So if you like very soft beds, this is a wonderful place to stay.
