A perfect one night stop on our second Inlandsbanan Trip. Greeted by delightful Slovene chauffeur and served in the restaurant by his equally delightful wife in the breakfast restaurant who made us lavander lemonade, all the rage in SLO this summer! Great breakfast buffet. The German receptionist was more than helpful on two counts not least when there was unacceptable noise from the room next door. Beds comfortable. Room could have been cleaner. Overall the charming EU staff made the visit. A fine walk round the lochan is a must.

We stayed just overnight on the way to Mo I Rana. We traveled with two dogs and stayed in the "dog room".||Room was old and not very clean, nothing to see from the window. ||Breakfast was just a basic one, nothing to highlight. ||Parking was free and that is a plus.||However, the location of the hotel is great when traveling with dogs. There are a lot of areas to walk with them, for example around the small lake just next to the hotel. ||But overall the hotel is over-priced.

I stayed here for 3 nights in Feb 2022 as part of a large tour group. Large dining area; Breakfast was swedish style buffet with many options, dinner was off the menu with local entrees such as reindeer; all well prepared. As I recall there was no central bar/lounge area but each floor of the hotel had cozy seating spots in which you could enjoy beverages purchased from the front desk. The hotel decor/furniture was dated but cozy; my room was small but comfortable.

We had booked a suite for two nights, and on arrival, it turned out that we had a room of give or take 25 m2. I asked the reception lady if she had made a mistake, but no, this was a suite, not a room.....I told her that a normal suite in a hotel consists of 2 rooms, or in the case of an junior suite , a large room with a separate sitting area.|Nope, all rooms are called suites in this hotel!|The hotel itself caters mainly for tourist groups who stay one night, breakfast included but nothing to write home about|I would suggest looking for another place to stay in the area

Room: I really liked my suite in the “new” part of the hotel. Spacious and comfortable. Reception: Rather unfriendly (young guy who is there in the morning) to very friendly (Per as well as one of the girls who worked there in the evening). Breakfast: I would really have appreciated a real coffee machine (with Espresso) and not only filter coffee, but other than that, the selection was absolutely OK for a hotel of this class. THE best bacon I ever had in any hotel in any country. Perfect texture, color and taste Dinner: Delicious meat (deer) and also very solid sides. The male guy working there (cook/boss) has a little snippy attitude but the girl working there was friendly Conclusion: Recommended, would always return when in the area. Shoutout to Per from Reception, he is a very nice guy

One of the three worst hotels I've ever stayed in. Terrible rooms. One of the only two electrical outlets in my room was broken (see photos). The lights in the bathroom don't work. The furniture is very old and everything is creepy. There is nothing in the room except a DVD player (just don't understand this in 2025). I complained to the front desk and they promised to have someone look into the electrical problems in the room. Nothing happened. They didn't even give me another room. Guys, just stay away from this hotel.

The hotel in Arvidsjaur. OK room, too hot at night. Had to keep my window open 24 hours. And the floor heating was still on. Fabulous breakfast. OK restaurant for dinner. A bit expensive. But don't drown the char in sauce! Recommend.

Hotel Laponien – A Standard Stay in Lapland Located in the small village of Arvidsjaur in Swedish Lapland, Hotel Laponien offers a basic experience with little to set it apart. It fits the mold of a typical Swedish hotel, providing functional accommodations but lacking in charm and luxury. For travelers seeking an unremarkable yet adequate place to stay, Hotel Laponien meets the minimum requirements. However, those in search of character, comfort, or refined amenities may be left wanting.
