Staying at Hotel St. Clemens was one of my favorite parts about my visit to Visby from earlier this month! My room was comfortable and very charming while the location was also great, a short walk to Stora Torget for food/groceries and most places in the old town. I also enjoyed the offerings for breakfast - the coffee and mini croissants were my favorite!||The part that made my stay wonderful was the staff though, who went above and beyond. The staff was so kind and gracious, and their attention to detail and service was truly fantastic. One found out it was my birthday and had a surprise waiting for me in my room! The staff also helped me make arrangements for a day trip Fårö, which I greatly appreciated. Thanks again to Helene and the other wonderful people at Hotel St. Clemens for helping make my trip to Visby so wonderful!

Spent three nights at St. Clemens with family of five. Best hotel experience ever - with considerable difference. The staff were both super friendly and relaxed (in the right way) at the same time, the hotel and it’s garden were so achingly beautiful and the overall vibe of the hotel and the people in there (both staff and guests) was so heartwarmingly lovely. And yes, this hotel has ruins of a medieval church at its back garden, which is a hard feat to top. Location is also superb, right in the old town and just a couple of minutes walk to seashore (thru botanical gardens no less).||We stayed in the suite, which was - just like the entire experience - superb for our needs. Plenty of space, and yes, achingly beautiful interior in the bones of couple of hundred of years of building.||All in all, if you like places with character, warmth and old style charm (with all modern comforts), St. Clemens is the place for you. We’ll be going back there next summer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The front deck ladies are terrific, and happy to assist in any way. The botanical gardens are stunning, steps away from the back gate. The breakfast offered lots of options, although no hot foods. But still excellent. We rented bikes for only 200 K per day. Charming facility! Highly recommend!

Five stars all the way for this quaint and oh so charming boutique hotel! Built right into some ruins, surrounded by reconfigured buildings that went from cobbler shop into beautiful rooms, etc. there are gardens loaded with blooms and many shaded tables to enjoy coffee/ tea and a biscotti treat. Then there’s the breakfast room! Don’t miss the truffle salami and the honey that is harvested from the bees home in the attached monetary ruins!

Where to start, an amazing stay from beginning to end, the staff are friendly, helpful and have time to talk to you to make sure your stay is the best, excellent recommendations for food and activities. Breakfast is incredible, so much choice a lot of local choices in a relaxing environment. And a home blend tea on the terrace was perfect. Comfortable rooms, very clean and traditionally decorated. Really cannot fault the hotel and we look forward to coming back!

We are a family of 4 and loved our stay in one of their superior twin rooms. Plenty of space and comfortable. The location was exceptional and their service was superb. They managed to find us parking for all 3 nights even though they were full. Highly recommend.
