Hotell Stadsparken i Helsingborg

I appreciated the welcoming and professional behavior of the staff, but not the fact that our hotel room had a refriregator that was unplugged which meant we had no cold drinks and it wasn't possible to get any ice cubes. It wasn't possible to plug in the refriregator either as the cord was inaccessible. Besides that, the ''four-star hotel'' buffet only included potato fries and breaded fish as their sole hot items, the breakfast was decent though. Rest assured, I would not recommend Stadsparken to anyone staying in Helsingborg, my apologies.

We also booked the hotels parking spot underneath the hotel.|The check-in was fast and very smooty.||The room was clean and fresh, but very small. The bed was smaller than expected, not a queen size bed. It was 140 centimeters wide, we think. The bathroom was clean.||Our room had windows to the courtyard and there were a lot of sounds coming from it. We did not mind that, but other people might. The bed was hard.||The breakfast was what you might expect, good but a bit crowded and small.

Location is great. On a small pedestrian street near the railway station.||What you should know is that the hotel has two buildings. One main and one across the street. No big deal, but for breakfast you have to go out and in to the reception building.||The room was very special, not to say odd. Several levels in the room itself. No problem for me, but if you have troubles with stairs it's not a place for you.||Room corridors very depressing. Looked like a fire escape.||Clean and all main things available in the room.|However, it's a bit worn down, so don't expect newly renovated top quality rooms.|Bed comfortable.|The AC was a mystery, since trying to lower the temperature didn't result in any change.||Reception was kind an nice, but a lot of information lacked. I had to ask for how to access wi-fi, prices of the stuff in the minibar, and all other general info that you expect to be told upon arrival.|In the room there was no "welcome to our hotel"-folder.||The hotel is boasting their breakfast as a "main attraction".|Really, it is very standard and nothing special in any way. You get a basic breakfast, quite OK. But not in any way outstanding.||Price ok, but could be more bang for the buck.

Our room was great -- looks just like the one currently pictured (bathroom to the left, balcony overlooking the street, red accents). The reception staff was professional, polite, and multi-lingual. Our room included dinner, which was a great treat after a long day. The breakfast the next morning was plentiful and delish! The room was VERY nice - a comfy bed, a sitting area, a great balcony, and even a heated towel rack in the bathroom. The only thing I would suggest to the hotel is new carpet in the halls and on the stairs, but it looked like they were updating some things while we were there, so this may already be underway. I would definitely consider staying here again.

The hotel rooms are distributed in two buildings, some in the main one and ones across the street. The ones across the street have a lower standard, however we got a quite room on the 4th floor with nice view over the sky. The cleaning is done only on request. The breakfast is not great, could benefit from better bread quality and better coffee. The hotel is central and there are many restaurin the vicinity.

I truly enjoyed this hotel. Excellent location. Easy to walk. Close to shops and coffee. ||Breakfast was great. The usual Scandinavian bread, cheese, yogurt. They also have hard boiled eggs, bacon and scrambled eggs. Waffles. Definitely won’t starve. ||Room was quiet and it’s a great overall hotel. I would definitely stay again. We were quite surprised at checking in that dinner is included in price. Please check this while booking. We didn't psy attention to that. Dinner very simple, breakfast really good, rooms basic, possible to park for reasonable money in garage 20m from hotel but please book this in advance. I didn't see so many parking places there.
