Hotell Villa Långbers

Disappointing hotel and Dalhalla package. We had booked a Dalhalla package, i.e. room, dinner, bus transfer to Dalhalla, evening meal and breakfast. Dinner was served at 3 p.m. and bus to Dalhalla left at 5 p.m. despite the concert only starting at 7 p.m. We had to wait for nearly 1.5 hours at Dalhalla before the concert started. Dinner OK, wine OK but very pricy. The evening meal was a hot dog with ketchup and mustard - self service. Nothing to drink included. Took a beer each for SEK 95 each!!! Very overpriced!!||The beds were comfortable and the bed linen was soft and there were several pillows. No airconditioning.||The main Swedish TV channel, SvT 1 could not be seen in our room 302. Some of the hooks in the shower room (very basic one) were broken. The fabric under the armchair was hanging down. Surprising for a pricy hotel!!!

Very Spartan and mediocre rooms In a gorgeous little rural ish neighborhood. Clean and comfy. Restaurant food was very average. Service: everybody was generally friendly except One nasty old lady who was putting out the coffee outside the restaurant in the morning. She knew I was waiting and deliberately locked the door and there she even though it was open when I arrived before the coffee was ready. Unfortunately that made me start thinking about everything else that was wrong with the hotel, thus three stars.

Top place to stay while Vasaloppet race week, less than hour by car to Mora. Suits are clean, beds are comfortable tea/coffee and sauna free of charge in line with amazing breakfast. Nature here is really something - spectacular view to Siljan lake, pines and fresh air. I just wish I could stay for a longer period.

Tällberg is a place with lots of hoteld, catering to tourists who want tranquility and good good, at least in winter. Langbers is situated high up, the view over lake Siljan is great, not at least at night when you see all the lights. We took a weekend offer with three course meals included both nights. The food was very good, the service impeccable and easy. We took the train from Stockholm, were picked up at the station and driven there also on departure.||When you stay there, you take long walks, you sit and read, you eat - if you want to take a swim there is a pool at a sister hotel close by. The room was fine, comfortable bed, but the walls are thin and we could basically hear every word our neighbors said. I'm glad they did not snore.||I´ll gladly go back, but then I will check how thick the walls to the neighboring rooms are.

Looking for the genuine swedish culture and service at Tällberg. The right spot in Dalarna to soak in the history and art villige wit 8 hotels. Just take the train from Stockholm Arlana Airport and jump off 3 hrs later in a swedish dream. All hotels within walking distance from hotel or be picked up by the hotel.

This is a very nice and peaceful place. The hotel has an outstanding view on the lake and its surroundings. The locals are very clean. The rooms are well equipped and the bed is super comfortable. The only drawback I found is that there are no electric outlets next to the bed. The food is very tasty. I tried dinner, breakfast and lunch as well. The selection is very good. The bar has a wide selection of whiskies and they serve different beers and wines too. Snacks and coffee is always available as well as the sweets. They have good places for lectures or conferences. I recommend this place!

We went for a wedding in May. It has an incredible view and position. The hotel itself is quite basic but they do have a great gym for its size. The food was wonderful on the day of the wedding. They have a limited bar but the best was the breakfast.

Breathtaking view of Siljan, very nice/modern rooms and a broad variety of assortments in the breakfast buffet. ||The restaurant is very good and definitely worth its price. Free evening coffee/tea and you were also offered a small bag, as I understood it, with your choices from the breakfast menu as a light meal for the day. Appreciated. ||The staff is very nice, however it seemed that one of the staff was new and not trained as a waiter, so we didn't get the wine we ordered and we had to wait for the main course for >1,5h, despite several reminders. I'm sure this was an isolated case and that the management consider training as a crucial part of the introduction process of new staff
