The hotel has exceeded my expectations. The staff were really kind and helpful. The room was big, cozy, and had a great view. Breakfast was simple but good. They also had a sauna and spa, which was really nice. I would definitely recommend it!

The hotel has a wonderful location, the rooms are fine and there is a great jacuzzi overlooking the lake. But it’s badly let down by really low levels of service. No table service in the restaurant but no notice saying you have to order at the bar (which is out of sight anyway). Such a pity as the food is good once you get it. Our third stay but probably our last.

Great location. Hotel feels somewhat dated, but all facilities were fine. Dinner was good and views were wonderful. Staff friendly, some still in training.

The hotel rooms provide a beautiful view over the nearby lake. The hotel itself looks like it has grown over the years and has a 1980ish style. Still, everything was in order. And the friendly staff compensated for the hotel's age. The hotel serves dinner a la carte and breakfast buffet, which was rather good.

The view from the lobby was beautiful, see the lake. |This hotel is what you would call a motel in the states. |It has a new section and a very old section, of course we were placed in the old section. Although, the hotel was empty our room was not ready, but the people who arrived on the same train as us had a room ready. |It is so old you don't have a key card you have an actual key. Remember to lock your door before leaving your room it does not lock atutomatically. |Since it was very hot we needed a fan in the room (no AC) luckly Karida at the front desk found one for us.

Good Hotel which was the perfect way for me to finish the Vildmärksvägen. It’s located very nicely with a great view over the lake. My room was very clean, not to modern but not old either. The few interactions I had with the staff were friendly. I didn’t try out the restaurant, but the breakfast buffet was big and the things I tried tasted good. All in all, I recommend this hotel it covers all the basic needs for a very affordable price.

We (2 adults and 2 kids, 3 and 2) decided to do the Vildmarksvägen anti-clockwise and stopped at this hotel for one night before starting the journey. On walking in I immediately regretted not booking the nearby B&B that seemed to get better reviews. The hotel building is very old inside and out. Walking in reminded me of some of the terrible hotels I stayed in in Scotland as a boy growing up in the 1980s. And the numbering signs for the rooms are from that era! You walk in to a smell that immediately highlights a big damp problem and then things just dont get any better. The staff are polite and nice - cannot fault them at all for effort. But the whole place needs an upgrade of epic proportions. Dinner was a disorganised mess as well. Breakfast was ok. The only redeeming feature is the amazing view. This could be such an amazing hotel if it was re-done. Avoid if you can.

You should go to Lapland to experience something like this!.||Ok, back to preparations. A very small airport it is with limited operations. Sounds like a fitting idea to pre-order a taxi cab to pick me up. It was, no other taxi to notice at the airport during my arrival. No traffic, just a couple of minutes for the hotel. The view straight above the lake and for the mountains, really nice. The room not that large, but ok for me, also the bathroom. Not a real night at all, like it. Anyway a good sleep here. Breakfast with several bread rolls and bread, also good. Heavy rain the next day, ok, it´s northern Sweden. And by cab back for the airport. Definitely a recommendable place to go in this area of Lapland.
