Cozy restaurant/hotel in an old manor in middle of Old Porvoo-city. Basic rooms that served us perfectly - massaging showerhead was a big plus :) Finedining restaurant conveniently in floor below. Exellent breakfast. Will visit again 👍

It is a charming hotel located on top of Porvoo just next to the church. It is a beautiful old merchant house renovated to fit a small hotel. The public areas of the hotel are absolutely gorgeous, I loved the lounge and breakfast room / party hall. There is a wonderful snack/coffee/tea station if you need a refreshment. Also the hotel room was nice, but not a favourite. An old house has it perks - so you have to be an old house lover to fully enjoy this place. I loved the atmosphere, the location and also the staff was super nice and friendly. Breakfast was absolutely excellent with lots of small and delicious details. Hotel Onni offers perfect old Porvoo-style stay!

Owner (?) of the hotel acted very unprofessionally during breakfast when giving feedback to our group leader in front of all the guests. This kind of feedback must always be handled privately one-on-one. Not before all the guests. Totally unprofessional way of handling the situation. Not recommended!

We stayed at Boutique Hotel Onni from August 6th to 9th. Beautiful place to stay right in the heart of old Porvoo, 2nd oldest town in Finland. Staff were a delight. Bed was so comfortable ........ pillows could be a little more comfortable though. Shower section was small, shower, loo and wash basin ..... if it had been in light colours it would have been better, but most of it was wood effect. Nevertheless a lovely place.

This is a unique, small hotel in Porvoo Old Town. As there are only around 5 rooms, you will get personal service. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room itself was clean and very beautifully decorated. The A/C worked well, and that was very much appreciated as the summer was hot for Finland.||The breakfast was probably the best part of the hotel: friendly service, the food was excellent (really good quality!), and the terrace was cosy on a summer morning. By far the best hotel breakfast that I’ve come across in Finland!||On the negative side the hotel is not fully soundproof as it is an old building. Additionally, it is pricey: the room itself isn’t probably worth it, but you’ll get personal service and an excellent breakfast. ||It’s good to note that they don’t have room for storing luggage, so you can only leave your suitcases until 3pm when the next guests check in.

This is a boutique hotel with four rooms in the main building and one room adjacent. The house is full of character. It is a very old building kept in a very good state with furnishing adaptable to its age. We felt such a warm and homely feeling when staying at this hotel. Our host was so warm and helpful guiding us in what to do in Porvoo. The hotel is also located opposite the main church, being very central and easy to locate.

Lovely old building set back off the street, right opposite Porvoo's main church. Our room, at the back of the building, was medium-sized with a four-poster bed and a fairly small bathroom.||It's a lovely location and staff were really friendly and helpful.||Tiny gripes - the shower (like quite a lot in Finland) somewhat floods the bathroom floor - but the charm of the place easily makes up for this.||Breakfast for the small number of guests was very high quality and in a relaxed setting.||Dinner at the hotel's restaurant, SicaPelle, was wonderful.||Parking on the street outside is free of charge as long as you're on the side of the street by the hotel, not the church.||Overall, a gem of a place in a beautiful old town.

Unique and delicate experience. Home made and hiqh quality breakfast, an experience You will not experience in Big Hotels. Dinner in restaurant Sicapelle is definetly worthwhile. Customer experience and customer service is friendly, professional and personal. Lovely weekend.
