The location is fabulous… the cathedral is right on the doorstep and it’s about a minute away from the Grote Markt. ||Staff were extremely friendly, helpful and genuinely couldn’t have done more to provide excellent customer service. ||The room was on floor 5 and overlooked the cathedral square too, which was an added bonus! Would definitely book again!

Spotlessly clean rooms, in a scenic location - right by the cathedral. The room was small, but creatively appointed with a large luxurious bathtub in the bedroom with a curtain provided for modesty. Friendly staff, great little cafe downstairs - no complaints.

The location is perfect. The breakfast was good and the stuff prepared it half an hour before as a nice gesture. Everyone was very receptive. The rooms imo need more ventilation and noise isolation.

Visited every day over the Christmas period, loved this cafe for drinks, lunch, afternoon cakes, coffee, even beers. Very friendly staff and even a chocolate shop inside. Lovely food. Definitely recommend a visit here

Though a little tricky to find, this family-run hotel is a wonderful place to stay in Antwerp. Truly a boutique hotel with quirky decor, it boasts a great location just off the plaza in front of the cathedral and directly adjacent to a street loaded with restaurants of every ethnicity. Sarah gave us a warm welcome on arrival and a list of a few restaurants to consider. One, Arte, became a trip favorite and we dined there twice. See separate review.|As mentioned by another reviewer, the street can be lively/noisy at weekends but the large windows are double glazed and earplugs are provided (which I did not need). Beds are quite comfortable. The buffet breakfast has many good choices. I would not hesitate to return here. The warmth and friendliness made it special.

A great hotel. My husband and I stayed for a long weekend (4 nights) and were very pleased that we chose Hotel O Kathedral. The location was excellent - within walking distance of many of the sights, as well as easy access to the underground and trams. Our room was comfortable, clean and stylish, with a lovely view of the cathedral.|The bed was comfortable. There was enough storage space for our clothes etc. We were a bit uncertain about the bath/shower being in the bedroom. But no need to worry, privacy can be protected with a very effective curtain around the bath. The toilet is in its own cubicle. |There is a cafe/bar downstairs in which breakfast is served. We only had coffee and croissant but the breakfast buffet looked very good. |The staff deserve a special mention. They were very friendly and attentive. They were extremely helpful when we asked them for help with a problem we had. |One note of caution. The area around the hotel has many restaurants and bars and can get noisy at night, particularly at the weekends. We slept very well, but light sleepers might benefit from earplugs, which are supplied by the hotel.

Hotel is very worthwile, excellent price-quality. Great room with bath incorporated and view on the cathedral. Ear-plugs are a wonderful idea : no noise-trouble whatsoever!|Only downside: bar-service. After a 30’ wait we checked on our order, which seemed to have been ‘forgotten’… no excuses, nothing. Very unprofessional.|Breakfast, on the contrary, was ansolutely great!

Really nice hotel with a view to the cathedral. The room was spacious and very clean.
