Food is always delicious in this old tavern of the island. A very nice hidden backyard fits many tables and hungry guests. Slow, bad service is to blame for the missing fifth star. 2 waiters struggle to serve too many customers, and food gets served un accordingly, with main courses arriving on the table before salads and appetizers. Anyway, a restaurant you must visit!

Amazing space, full of history! The food extremely delicious, creative (we ate beans with mandarin!!!!). Totally new tastes and combinations! Fast service and kind staff. The prices more that great for the meal we had! Do not miss it, it's a MUST!!!

Nice greek taverna. Try eggplant with feta

One of the best, if not the best, restaurants on the island. It is truly a culinary delight. Some of the dishes I recommend are the eggplant appetizer, which is both zesty and fruity, the zucchini fritters (κολοκυθοκεφτέδες), which are the best I've EVER tasted, the lamb chops/ribs, almost too many to list. The atmosphere is wonderful, with tables and chairs set up in an exterior garden/olive grove. The restaurant has been in the family for over 120 years, and as well as they take care of their customers, they should be around for as many or more. Definitely a multiple visit establishment...

If there were 6 stars, this place's cooking would deserve it! There is a very cozy and calm garden for the summer months, too. Service is kind. Be sure to reserve a table. Also note that this restaurant is 134 years old, existing since 1882, when the island was under Turkish occupation!

By far one of the best restaurants in Chios. Traditional recioes old an new with locally sourced ingredients. One of my favorite dishes is the eggplant with feta. I get it every time. They're tomato sauce is exceptional.

Excellent food and genuine hospitality in this family run establishment! The taverna only opens its doors once every few days depending on the bookings and usually services the returning patrons.
