House of Music Hungary

If you get a chance, the House of Music (Magyar Zene Háza) is a lovely place to visit. There are several spots to relax with a coffee, and the ground-floor restaurant serves a good meal. When the weather is nice, we particularly like sitting on the upstairs balcony. The venue hosts lots of interesting concerts; some are impromptu, but for others, you will need to book.

Fantastic building! One of the best event venues I have ever seen. The spaces blend into the surrounding park. The rooms are cozy and have excellent acoustics. Every time you meet the staff, they are kind and friendly. The programs are varied. Not to be missed!

We loved this museum. A wonderful overall history of music development with a great section on folk. Excellent headphones are provided and you’re auto connected to all exhibits as you walk around. It’s effortless, integrative, and a pleasant way to spend a few hours.

The House of Music Hungary is a cultural center that stands out for its beautiful exterior architecture, located within a charming park near Vajdahunyad Castle and Heroes’ Square. I didn’t get to visit the interior, but the outside alone is worth seeing, and it seems like a very interesting cultural space. The entrance is paid.

I have got this place recommended by a women who works in the National Museum and I have not expected anything like this. If not her, I would have missed this unique experience. Thnak you so much !

Apart from the main show was sold out, we managed to buy ticket for the Creative sound space. The main idea is great but many of the instruments where not working. The studio system had the bass guitar not working because of a broken string and was removed, the guitar could not be tuned, one of the keys of the piano was broken and the mic studio was not working well becuase they had a problem with system they said. So it was really boring.

Went to the Museum only to watch a 360 concert about Pink Floyd. It was an amazing experience.

Really cool place. The only thing it that every visit has a timeslot so you might have to wait to start the tour. Otherwise really immersive experience in the permanent exhibition.
