We stayed in New Lake Studio C, which is a new addition to the little Amstel company and is little out the way of the city. However it was absolutely perfect! The best customer service I have ever experienced- Andrew was incredible and truly there for anything we could need and answered all our questions so patiently. The actual apartment was gorgeous and had coffee, tea and a few other lovely amenities. It came with free bikes and bike locks which we loved using and was all in all the most amazing stay. Absolutely perfect and could not recommend New Lake and this company more if I tried.

We stayed at this location, Studio A, for an extended weekend. It was perfect. The room was as described and mirrored the photos provided on the website. If we had neighbors, we could not hear them, the room was quiet inside and out. The beds were incredibly comfortable. I must note the room is small as described. My husband and I are both under 5'4" so this was not an issue for us but maybe for someone much taller. We loved having the dock to enjoy morning coffee, the river view and the quiet in a city. Public transportation was easily accessible from the location and we found it a great way to get to know Amsterdam. The local shops around the Cuyp Market were great! The communication with the owners was perfect and the convenience of the electronic key system enhanced the stay. Highly recommend this unique hotel on the Amstel.

Lovely experience !! The only downside for me is the key system, I'm not a technical person. Small room but ok for a couple nights. Very comfy bed, clean. Unfortunately, it rained most of the time so we can't sit and enjoy the view as much as we wanted

This is a review for Houseboat next to Amstel (as mentioned in this listing for its sister boat Houseboat Little Amstel). ||The location is 15 minutes to just about everything with great non-touristy restaurants, bakeries, and a grocery just around the corner. Amstel Hotel is just across the bridge and has a lovely high tea. The massage bed was a bonus! Very spacious and comfortable, even in the dead of winter we were warm once we understood the excellent heating system. The bathroom is spacious and the shower was roomy with lots of hot water. Big central closet in the hallway with lots of shelves and two hanging areas, which helped keep the rooms tidy. Lots of windows and light with very effective blackout blinds. Two TVs to keep the family happy on a rainy day. Very clean and I believe it was recently painted. The kitchen has a small set of dishes, set of silverware, a few glasses, microwave oven, and spacious clean refrigerator. Having stayed on boats before, this one was quieter and stiller than most, as long as you are not a light sleeper you will have an excellent night's rest. The outdoor decks are amazing and furnished well, and I bet they are beautiful in the spring as there are plants everywhere (we were there over New Years). It was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 teens and could even hold an additional 2 people for an additional fee by using a murphy bed in the main living room. Don't hesitate to visit Amsterdam in the winter, bundle up and enjoy the city's light festival and other holiday festivities and know you'll have a cozy place to go home to every night!

Absolutely magical! We stayed in room A and it was perfect. There were blackout blinds and also privacy blinds. Ducks swam right up to us each morning and we enjoyed a nice quiet drink out in the deck watching all the boats go by. The bathroom is small but nice, the shower was great. The digital key system worked very well. It was a great location and I would highly recommend staying here.

Great little hideaway in the most beautiful city..even though it rained 90% of our time there! The only thin the rain stopped was us enjoting the floating balcony! Everything was perfect, bed so comfy and the view...wow! Andrew provided us with all the information we needed to have a great few nights. The houseboat is tiny but has everything you need. Easy access to trams to take you to city and it's so peaceful you would hardly think you were in amsterdam. Takes about 25 minutes to walk into centre but this takes you through alot of squares, with plenty going on. Will definetly be going back in the summer.

We loved our stay at Little Amstel - Studio A. The studio was clean and very well thought out, with plenty of space and storage for a couple. The beds were very comfortable and we appreciated the small fridge and coffee pod machine. The view is beautiful both day and night, we spent lots of time sitting on the deck out the front. The location was perfect, a nice walk/bike ride into the city, but far enough away that it was quieter than the hustle and bustle. |Andrew was easy and prompt with communication, and kindly organised bicycles for us at late notice. |Highly recommend Little Amstel.

This houseboat might be the coolest place to stay in Amsterdam. Okay, it's compact... but, it's spotless, with everything you need. It's the location that will make you smile. Right on the water, exceptionally quiet, day and night. An oasis in the city. Communication with Andrew is very good. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else next time I visit the city. First class 👍
