Great store and great staff! They are a wealth of knowledge. It is interesting to see the mattress cutouts to understand how the different natural fibers are leveraged in these mattresses. Um, I didn’t really know about mattresses but thanks to Steve and Houston Natural Mattress I feel pretty good about what I need to be sleeping on. We spent about an hour just trying different mattresses and Steve talked to us about each one. I’m excited to get our new mattress delivered and have a safe and comfortable night’s sleep.

I do not usually write yelp reviews, however this is our third purchase from Houston Natural Mattress and we have not been disappointed. Three years ago we purchased the more expensive Naturepedic Halcyon mattress due to significant back issues. We are still very happy with our mattress and really glad we chose the naturepedic brand. We have been back twice for our sons room and then just recently our guest room. Both Dustin and Louis have been wonderful in helping us. It is also hard to know these days all the toxic products that might go into the various mattresses so having an organic mattress and especially one made here in the US is why this is our go to for mattress needs. We are very happy with the Houston Natural Mattress co. Dustin and Louis - don't ever compromise on integrity and honesty and you will have lifetime customers!

Louis and Dustin go above and beyond answering any questions during the initial visit, give recommendations, they are not pushy at all! They want you to make the best decision possible and help guide you in the right direction. After the actual order if there are any issues or just looking to see the status of shipment they are also excellent in tracking down information and going above and beyond fixing any issues that may occur - if that even happens. We are extremely pleased with our purchase - I had so many questions and called them numerous times and they were so patient with me and answered every question I had. They were very knowledgeable about their products. The delivery service that they used to deliver our mattress was top-notch. The best delivery service that we have ever had. FANTASTIC experience from start to finfish. My husband and I talked to Steve and told him we were looking for a natural mattress...mostly due to my dust allergies and autoimmune stresses...brought on by environmental triggers. We had a bad experience with our former mattress purchase and with some other furniture delivery in the past...mostly bad attitudes. Steve took time to explain some natural options and we fell in love with the Halcyon mattress. It took a while because this mattress is custom made to your specs. It's been worth the wait. The delivery service was awesome as well. The mattress comes in a high-quality, food-grade double plastic cover and not a partly ripped open, thin plastic like our last mattress...where we had to send it back since it was already stained (bought at the Dump). Richard was the delivery rep. He was so considerate regarding care and handling of the mattress...careful to create as little as possible contamination while removing the covering and placing the mattress on our foundation. Richard spoke English! He had no problem with answering any questions and didn't make me feel as if I was a bother...like the Dump's delivery man had done. Best of all, we love our new natural mattress which has no chemical or toxic smell...making us feel ill. It's also super comfy and we've slept like babies since we got it. The only smell was an earthy, natural smell (mild) which reminds me of sheep. Well, maybe this is why we have the saying to count sheep to get to sleep. It's NATURAL! This mild earthy smell is quite welcome after our last mattress experience. Thank you Natural Mattress and I hope this store is around for a long time. I hope others will check it out.
