How Bao Now

A pleasure for the taste buds! I was lucky to try How Bao Now's Pulled Jackfruit Bao Bun on closing night of Oranjezicht Wednesday Night Market ... fresh, scrumptious, popping with flavor!

Absolutely must try their new evening 5 course tasting menu! Been a fan of their baos since they first opened but this has just taken it to a whole new level. Clean, fun flavours in a modern but cosy setting. Awesome service and atmosphere. The product of two of Cape Town’s most talented chefs having fun with food. Just what we needed in CT!

Had the pleasure of having a Banana blossom Bao Bun at the Time out market yesterday evening. What can I say? I'll be back! This is hands down the best boa bun I have tried and the chef was very kind to answer my questions about the ingredients. Who knew a banana flower could be so delicious? Looking forward to return 🙂.

The most delicious Bao buns I have ever tasted. Highly recommend the pork and mushroom (My favourite) buns. Great location at the old biscuit mill and the Oranjezicht market!
