Really liked this hotel... smelt fresh as soon as you walk into the lobby, staff are polite and offered a nice welcome drink. |Location was great, 3 minute drive to the Taj Mahal. |Rooms were spacious, clean and tidy. |Rooftop bar was great fun, brilliant atmosphere. |Breakfast and dinner was delicious... all in all im so glad I booked this place, was a relief to have a nice place after the previous,.disgusting hotel.

The rooms are big and clean, the bathroom has (very) hot showers and a hair dryer (not so granted in many other hotels we stayed in) but the best thing is the coffee at breakfast... the cappuccino tastes good! I am very picky with coffee and I was impressed!! 😀 I would definitely stay here again. Just carry your suitcases to your room if you don't want to tip the guys

The Hotel is good and I love the location But the Front Office staff is not professional. Front Office Manager needs training as he is not polite at all.. No Smile and has no sense of Guest services. The Front Office staff has made Howard Plaza a below avarage Hotel. The Hotel and Location are perfect But try to have less interaction with Front Office staff specially with Front Office Manager Gaurav because it will spoil your mood and vacation. One Star ⭐ for Front Office Staff F&B and Housekeeping staff are Good.

This is an old property that once enjoyed a reputation for grandeur but is clearly past its prime. Under The Fern Group’s new branding, there appears to be an attempt to reposition and rediscover its identity.||We stayed here as part of a large group. The room was fairly standard and equipped with basic amenities, though the television felt undersized by today’s standards. Bathroom amenities were below expectations and could use significant improvement.||The breakfast spread was average, nothing particularly memorable. Unfortunately, the biggest letdown was the service. The breakfast area was poorly managed, and the staff lacked basic hospitality etiquette, which noticeably impacted the overall experience.||With better upkeep and a stronger focus on service training, this property could potentially live up to its past reputation.|

We chose this hotel as it was well placed to walk to Taj Mahal for sunrise (15 mins). There was a good spread at breakfast. They had a travel desk to organise drivers which was handy (we stopped by Akbars tomb on the way to Delhi). There was a pool and spa but we had no time to use it. There was a shop inside the hotel with good quality marble pieces and his prices were fair - check it out! Sheets had stains and duvet cover had holes - that could have been better.

Though we were alloted rooms early, being it 31st night, they asked us to pay for dinner for 2 senior citizens who were not attending the party. This was already informed to them in advance. We understand the hotel needs to do business but should not fleece customers this way. Also fern as a group has a certain standard which cannot be seen in this hotel at all

Once a grand hotel with great standards and 5 star property, this is now no better than a 3 star now. Rooms are standard, toiletries below expectations. Breakfast spread was ordinary with poor service. Servers like Sonveer don't help the reputation of hotels.

The location is great, but the hotel itself is downright bad. While the rooms are clean, you’re completely at the mercy of whoever stays next to you. In my case, the family next door was a perfect example of civic sense gone missing. The walls are so thin that even a phone’s buzz is clearly audible..so good luck getting any sleep. To make things worse, the reception staff are quite rude. They flatly refused a simple request for some water to refill my car’s washer fluid..and did so without even a smile. Which the chauffeur did it when bribed a 50 rupees note.. Adding to the frustration, the menu clearly mentioned a “night menu” available from 12 a.m. to 5 a.m., which we relied on. But when we called at 11:30 p.m., the kitchen was already closed. In the end, the only plus is the location..hospitality is absolutely zero.
