Howard Plaza The Fern, Agra

We stayed in the hotel for one night and had a good experience. Staff are very nice and helpful. Rooms are clean and looks new. Decent prices. Very good restaurant, “Bercos”, in the hotel. Regrettably, we did not have time to use the pool and spa.

This hotel is situated on a main road and we really love the hospitality shown by the hotel staff. However, Its still seems to be under renovation. I didnt see luggage carrier in the hotel and the staff were carrying the luggage on thr shoulders. Rooms are good but walls need some more renovation. Glass on the window seems to be very dangerous and i wanted my kids to stay away from it cuz it might fall off. Washrooms are neat and clean and hygiene is maintained. U will find Bercos, Spa there. They have a big sized swimming pool. Depth of the swimming starts from 2.5ft to 5.5ft However it needs to be properly maintained. There were lot of insects, tree leaves in the swimming pool (may be cuz it rained the other day) Breakfast menu is good but lacks Non veg snacks. I went to the Fern-Alwar and they served us Kebabs and hence i was expecting it from here aswell. If u put the room key near to ur phn then it will be de-activated and u will have to call the reception to open ur room's door. This happened to me 2-3 times in a single day. Overall i really had fun and will stay thr if i come to Agra again.

The property is good, but they should highlight the maintenence work before booking. It is not a good experience at this high price. Also there are lot of mosquitoes and staff is casual about it. Staff is not very professional.

Maintenance works are going on. The noise is a constatnt disturbance. Bad experience. 1. The hotel is a good property but not run professionally. I think they lack standard operating procedures. Example. There were too many mosquitoes in the hotel through out and the evening manager was very casual about it. They had no means or accountability to control it on daily basis. 2. Rooms were under maintenance and was contionuous discomfort during the day. 3. evn after the midnight there was heavy disturbing noise probably from galley or bar cleaning after finishing hours. 4. The A/c controlling systems were not working in two rooms. 5. The fridge was not working in one room. 6. Mr. Harsh, the night manager kept reiterating that he was the highest authority and it was impossible to contact anyone up the heirarchy. When i kept pressing he gave me a sales email id. I had to get operations manager id from someone else next day. Basically he never wanted the matter to be escalated. So it looks like a pretty neglected hotel by the owners. It is a good property at good location. Thats the only reason its in business. Regards

This hotel is decent with excellent staff and great food served at the restaurant. But the Internet/ WiFi is horrible. It’s always at 1 or 2 bars. I had plans of working and couldn’t do anything due to poor WiFi connection. Please don’t step into this hotel if you are planning to work from the rooms. WiFi is the only reason for my low rating. Rooms are little noisy at times during the day, but night times are ok.

It was a pleasant stay at this hotel for us. Staff at the front desk were very polite and helpful. Our room was neat and clean. One suggestion I would like to provide is that the shower area should have a complete glass door to avoid the water being splattered outside. Overall, we had a very good experience at this hotel. Honest and genuine review: Pros: 1. Room was spacious and clean. 2. Rooftop view and vibe is amazing due to Qairo Restaurant. 3. Location is also very convenient from all places. Cons: 1. Overpriced prices of food items at the restaurant. 2. Slightly overpriced room rent. 3. Lights are very less in the room. 4. Had to call the staff 2-3 times for welcome drink.
