Howard Smith Wharves

I visited Howard Smith Wharves on a rainy winter night, and the atmosphere was magical. The mild chill in the air, combined with the soft drizzle, made the lights on the Story Bridge and Brisbane’s towering skyscrapers even more captivating. The reflections on the wet ground added a romantic touch to the whole experience. Despite the weather, the area was lively yet peaceful — a perfect spot for a night stroll or a quiet drink by the river. It’s a must-visit location in the heart of Brisbane, especially if you enjoy scenic views and city lights with a unique riverside vibe.

Always a great day/night out with family or friends. We caught the citycat which had frequent stops. There's several food options (we had pizza and seafood, yum) great cocktails, even on busy days the wait time isn't too long. There's a pirate ship to keep the kids entertained and live music on the weekend, we love it here!

Great spot for afternoon drinks and the view is awesome as always. Great vibe and lots of choices for food and drinks.

Great place to hangout, grab a beer, and catch the sunset with friends.

What a fab place to visit ,great eateries,super walks along river.Ferry scheme works well,back & forth constantly all day & evening .Lots of good hotels,dotted along the wharf.Always can grab a drink or 2 at Felons ,good atmosphere,busy place.

There are a few restaurants and some kids are playing on the sand and pirate boat as well. Besides, you can play table tennis with somebody and drink some beers here (Felons Barrel Hall). (I forgot to take photos of that). Nice place for a big family!

Stanley Exclusive – Sophisticated cocktails in a luxe, intimate atmosphere. Whether you’re after fine dining, casual bites, or a relaxed drink by the river, HSW delivers with a vibrant atmosphere and endless choices to suit any style. I highly recommend connecting with Harriet Jobson and her team—they bring incredible passion, creativity, and expertise, ensuring every event is unique and unforgettable. Howard Smith Wharves is a must-visit venue that truly has something for everyone!

So much to do and see. Great restaurants, amazing views and Felons has a laid back vibe, with their own brews on hand. Grab a table, or find a bean bag and just enjoy the moments. I also recommend Greca for an amazing dining experience.
