Felons Brewing Co - SilverKris

"A convivial brewhouse set within the historic Howard Smith Wharves development, it attracts everyone from suited city workers to families. About half a dozen beers are brewed on-site in large metal tanks, offering a range that spans a punchy pale ale and a crisp apple cider, with a couple of rotating seasonal brews to try as well." - SilverKris

Look, it was fine but a few things stand out. Firstly PARKING COST..... and I put that in capitals to emphasise its so expensive. Anything over 1 hour and its $40 going up steeply after that. The parking was half empty which has to be due to the price. Just crazy. We went to fellons brewery for lunch. Was super busy and when ordering a 55 min wait time was advertised. We went ahead but Strangely as a group of 9 our food came at all different times even though it was the same order. I ordered pizza and a side of chips, my wife a simple fish slider, 3 kids burgers and some more pizza. My chips came almost right away (and the kids destroyed them). Followed by 2 of the kids pizza's. My pizza (that I wanted the chips with) came 20 min later( chips were gone by then) and the kids 3 cheese burgers came at around the 40 min mark. 8 of the group had finished eating and still no fish slider for my wife so we cancelled that for a refund. All up we get it was busy and under the pump but lunch as a family group just didn't happen. Won't go back.

I visited Howard Smith Wharves on a rainy winter night, and the atmosphere was magical. The mild chill in the air, combined with the soft drizzle, made the lights on the Story Bridge and Brisbane’s towering skyscrapers even more captivating. The reflections on the wet ground added a romantic touch to the whole experience. Despite the weather, the area was lively yet peaceful — a perfect spot for a night stroll or a quiet drink by the river. It’s a must-visit location in the heart of Brisbane, especially if you enjoy scenic views and city lights with a unique riverside vibe.

There are a few restaurants and some kids are playing on the sand and pirate boat as well. Besides, you can play table tennis with somebody and drink some beers here (Felons Barrel Hall). (I forgot to take photos of that). Nice place for a big family!

We were really surprised by how cool the wharves are. We arrived by boat taking the city hopper and really enjoyed walking around the wharves. There are lots of spaces to eat, drink, chill, sunbath. You have gigantic brewery spots if you love beer. We ate at the Chinese restaurant Stanley and took a beer at Felons and chilled on the bean bags. Definitely a must see

Came for lunch on a Saturday. Used the secure parking (booked online). The Beer Hall has a different menu to the rest of Felons. Some vegan options on both. Food was great (cauliflower curry -HUGE, and the papaya salad. Son had the Cheeseburger- it's a rip-off). Beers were fine. The Seltzers are interesting and tasty.
