Howe Keld Holiday Apartments

A wonderful modern apartment in a great location with stunning views. We stayed in apartment 5 which was the whole of the first floor. It was 3 bedrooms with ensuite shower rooms and one with a bath too which overlooked the main road and car park. The front had a wonderful little seating area to admire the stunning view, a kitchen/dinning area leading through to a large sitting room. The doors were operated by number locks which meant we didn't have to worry about the key. You could park outside between 4 pm and 10 am. Otherwise we parked in the car park opposite or by the lake as we had given them our registration before arriving. A very nice week and would stay again if in the area.

The ground-floor apartment is absolutely superb The owners have spared no expense in quality fixtures, fittings and decoration. Everything you could ever need for self-catering was provided. You really do get what you pay for.||Special praise for the site manager Angela was helpful throughout our stay and provided additional items on request. ||The only issue is the very, very tight on-site parking and although there are three parking spaces it is not easy to use (unless you have a very, very small car). But there is free parking right outside the apartment (4pm-10am), unlimited along a road 50 metres away and there is also a paid-for car park very close.||The apartment is just a few minutes walk from the heart of Keswick and less than 10 minutes from Derwentwater. Great location.||Despite the parking issue, I could not recommend this accommodation more highly - it's the best my wife and I have ever stayed in.

Very comfortable apartment everything in tip top condition and very clean. Every facility with drying room and washing machines. Excellent location near town and lake. Just across the road from the park which has a cafe, mini golf and pitch & putt, also a relaxing place to sit and enjoy the view. Angela the Housekeeper is on hand to help with any queries.

Stayed in appartment 2 for a week. Fantastic 1 bed ground floor appartment. Comfy king sized bed, beautiful bathroom, well stocked kitchen (we cooked most days) and comfy lounge. Very clean. Communal drying room downstairs was great and so was the communal laundry room as we had a baby with us. 1 parking spot available, it's tight to get in, but car is away from the road. Great location. 1 minute walk into central Keswick. The housekeeper, Angela, was really welcoming and no ask was too much. Downsides? Not many! If we had to be picky, for those who wish to cook there isn't much space to store non-fridge items as all the cupboards are full of kitchen items. But we simply moved some bits around and made the space. We'll definitely be back!

Thank you to Laura, Jerome and their whole team for making our stay so special! We loved our stay and we can’t wait to return. Location, cleanliness, comfort, decor has all exceeded our expectations. The food? OMG, absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection, fresh, enough to kickstart your day and beautifully presented. I have nothing to fault really! Everything was taken care of! We stayed in room 1 on the ground floor. We initially had some concerns over being next to the dining area, but our concerns soon faded away, we heard nothing at all. Although we had to keep reminding ourselves to ensure to pull blind down/draw curtains so we were not seen coming out of shower short on clothing. But privacy blinds and thick curtains are provided to solve this. We have agreed that we would request the same room when we returned for our next stay :-) of course if possible. Now the challenging part is to try and find availability :-)

This B&B is fantastic. Perfect location - 5 min walk to the centre of town to bars and restaurants and 5 min walk to the lake. All with free parking too! The room was spacious, modern, nicely decorated and extremely clean. It had everything we needed including a fan thank you! Breakfast was lovely, there was lots of choice, and the service was impeccable. I would 100% recommend this place to all my friends and family and will definitely stay here again if we return to keswick.

Location is excellent, a short walk to the lake shore and to the ferry, and also to shops and restaurants. Howe Keld is welcoming, very comfortable and extremely high standards of hospitality (the breakfasts are delicious) and cleanlineness. This was our second stay, and once again we thoroughly enjoyed it. Last year we came with friends who had previously stayed there, and this time we brought other friends. We will certainly be booking again.
