Arrived 8pm, immediately seated, ordered within 5 mins, and food arrived quickly. The food tasted amazing and fresh! Glad we ate here!!! Left just after 9pm. Servers were friendly and very good! Highly recommend! The battered fish was perfect, fresh and not oily or too battered, the salmon burger was very good, the linguini tasted super and the draft very good.

We visited this place twice in a road on our two day stay in Ucluelet! The first day we got fish and chips, chowder and elk burger, the food was tasty, fresh and quick considering how bussy it was! We came back the second day just for drinks and to enjoy the pool tables and arcade games and we got wings and salad to take out. Both days the service was great, friendly, attentive, we got a lot of local tips about the area. Theatmosphere is just great! We had so much fun both days! We are planning to come back just to visit this place again!

Nice looking pub inside. Arcade in the back. Tonnes of tables, but I imagine it get's hectic in the summer. We were here in Jan, and it was fairly quiet. Staff were all friendly. Food was great too, with a pretty good menu to choose from.

Google
Great local restaurant, fun menu which includes something for everyone. Perfect if you're looking for pub food, and it has some great sounding Asian dishes, such as wontons, tempura prawns and a delicious-sounding Noodle bowl. Service was friendly, decent prices for the Island. Highly recommend the burger. Hope to go back again tomorrow and try the Korean Noodle Bowl and a local dessert!

I was expecting better given the reputation. Wasn't very busy took forever to get seated and even longer to get my order in. Sat me in the corner was trying to wave someone down. Also had to go up to pay. I had deer Burger and wings since Wednesday. Burger and fries were good nothing spectacular. Wings had decent flavour (khan) were deff sitting awhile not fresh /dried out I would deff feel very ripped off if not for the special. I wouldn't come back. I was hoping to play pinball but looks like those machines aren't there anymore. The burger was good it's the wings that let me down and the service. The waitress seemed kinda well bad. Forgot the guy next to me second beer a few times and also forgot what I ordered. Overheard her go back to a few people cause forget.

Well, I wanted to like this place. Cool space and good location in town, but... the draw was the arcade and games for our son. The main space is ok. But a few minutes in and the flaws start to show. Firstly, the arcade is sad and dirty. Basically a long room of 80s b-side games. Our gamer son had no interest in any of them and we are arcade regulars. There was a dusty pile of lego on a table which he played with briefly. We washed our hands before eating. The food was not bad but not great. Some of the prices are nuts. Many dishes are $30+. The service was polite but minimal. We had to go grab our own condiments and we were done eating by the time they came by to check on us. When I asked for the wifi password I was told "its been discontinued". Lastly, the main room has pool tables and air hockey. The air hockey barely works and doesn't keep score. The waitress had to lift the metal end plates to release the puck. The puck bately could glide so my son lost interest and we left before finishing a game. Overall it seems the place may have been worthwhile years ago but is now a sad overpriced smalltown eatery. We won't be back.

Google
Great family restaurant or place for adults to kick back. Good selection of comfort food. Fish is fresh sea to table. Draft beer available along with OK wines and cocktails. Video game room and pool tables Service friendly and functional. A good dining choice for this area

Google
Yummy and fairly priced food for the area. Service is good, servers are doing their best even when it’s busy. Atmospheres is nice for two or a group! Happy to come back here each time I’m in Ucluelet.

Yelp
While staying in Ucluelet for some storm watching, we tried Howlers one night. Sounded like a fun place with an arcade, pool and a full menu. Most of the arcade games were off - broken or unplugged, not sure which. Fun atmosphere otherwise with a large blackboard for the kids to draw on. I had the deer burger with fries, upgraded to poutine. The fries are crispy outside and soft inside, and that gravy was delicious! The burger itself was juicy, soft bun, but the sprouts for the crunch and the chipotle mayo for the extra flavor made this one a winner! For dessert, I had the ginger molasses bread with ice cream. Moist, flavorful, and the French vanilla ice cream was out of this world.

Yelp
This quaint restaurant was right across the street from the lodge we were staying at during our long weekend getaway in Ucluelet, so we wandered over to satiate our hunger on our first night in town. The restaurant was actually larger than I expected. They had loads of bench-style tables and seats. There was a run-down arcade in there as well with some claw machines that looked like the candy prizes had been in there since the 90's... We looked around for the bowling alley that was supposedly there but found out that it was taken out. Service was friendly and relatively attentive. I had my first poutine of the trip. It ended up being saltier than I had hoped. I ordered the Korean Beef Noodle Bowl. Not that I needed more food, but for the price it was, I expected that there would be more food. The flavor was okay. Nothing to write home about. As I got to the bottom of the bowl, I found a pool of oil just sitting there, being absorbed by the few pieces of my leftover sad noodles. It was a LOT of oil... I wanted the bowl because it had a lot of veggies alongside the beef, so I at least got that. It's nice that it's open late for visitors to dine in and has a wide variety of foods, but none of our party's food stood out and wow'ed us, so... it was fine. Again, they were lovely, friendly people, so if you're looking for someplace welcoming to get fed in Ucluelet, I recommend coming here.

Yelp
Aug 2024 - visited Howlers yesterday. Food was pretty good. Service was OK. We arrived just before 6 pm and were seated immediately. Dinner was delivered in about 15 minutes, which is very good. Unfortunately, no bowling and each arcade game is extra. Also, the final cost for our meal was over $100 (before tip) for 2 adults and 1 youth. Kinda pricey for a "family" restaurant. Also, TVs showed gambling tourney; not really family material. Thus, 3 of 5 stars

Yelp
I In a nutshell, the fish and chips were solid, but what truly shines here is the service. The waitresses are incredibly friendly, and the whole vibe of the place feels like home. If you're looking for a welcoming atmosphere and a good meal, look no further.

Yelp
Came here initially for happy hour, fish and chips and a chowder. Switched it ip on the spot, and we decided on two pastas: the wrath of khan Alfredo, and the pacific Alfredo. Both very delicious, the wrath of khan being a bit more overbearing with the sauce (if you are a sauce boss, this is the pasta for you). The popcorn shrimp was a delight, flavours poppin and it did not feel like a mouthful of oil. Done tastefully well. The cider was also fantastic. Overall 9/10, great spot to hang out and watch the game while having superb diner food. The servers were super friendly and professional!

Yelp
Howlers is everything you want in a neighbourhood restaurant - great food (best wings ever!), friendly service and awesome games like bowling, darts and pool. My partner and I came here on holiday and noticed this joint for their bowling ally within the restaurant and thought it would be good fun to grab a bite and play. We sat down for dinner first. I ordered the hot wings and a cup of clam chowder and my partner ordered the prawn wrap with fries. Let's start with the chowda, it was salty hearty and had great clam and seafood flavour. It also came with super fresh garlic bread for dipping. Really delicious. The WINGS THO! It is so rare to find wings this good at a restaurant. They're legit large sized wings and they've battered these in a light flour and fried them. They're like wings you'd make at home in a fryer. So juicy on the inside with crispy skin coating. I couldn't believe it! And they're only $10 on wing Wednesday and you get about ten wings. Just go for the wings if you're not interested in the games etc, they will make you so happy. My partner enjoyed his prawn wrap also and the fries were awesome, double deep fried coating. Salty, piping hot and so yummy. On top of that we got in three games of bowling which was SO FUN. For only $4.50 we got to play for as long as we wanted! The waitresses were super attentive too and made sure we were happy with all the food and drink and double checked we knew how to score the bowling. It was clear they were really caring and wanted to ensure you got the best experience. I would 100% go back to Howlers when I visit again because it was just such a hoot! Im really in love with this gem of a joint!

Yelp
Very accommodating and welcoming, the service was extremely friendly as well. The food was exceptionally good with options for those with restrictions.

Yelp
Worst food and service.. came here tonight November 07th 2020.. First off, it took 45 minutes to get a menu and then an hour for the food to arrive.. The place wasn't busy so no excuse for the delay. But wait till I say thee best part, when the food arrived it was basically burnt.. So it just seemed like it was forgotten. Never in my life have I ordered a beef burger and had it arrive dry burnt and crunchy... I would not recommend giving this place a try What a joke of a restaurant.

Yelp
So aside from COVID times, I gather that this place is mostly a family spot, with lots of games and activities to partake in. We were visiting during COVID, and came here to watch the hockey game. I had low expectations, to be honest, because I thought it would be a bit Chuckie-Cheese-ish. I was wrong. First of all, the two ladies taking care of everyone were so awesome, accommodating and attentive despite being very busy. The didn't blink an eye at my weird drink requests and were busting their butts. Second of all... we were close to the kitchen so we saw all the food going out - it all looked SO good. We ordered a few dishes because all the food we were seeing looked so tasty, and of course our dishes were AMAZING. We had the bacon wrapped scallops, the grilled garlic butter prawns and tempura prawns, all off the $11 menu. And then we ordered a second round because they were that good. All in all, everything was great. The service, the food, the glasses I bought to bring home... we had a great time, oh and the Canucks won in OT ; )

Yelp
I'm sure that it's Covid related, but the wait for food was reallly long. However the special was ribs and macaroni and cheese. Ribs were smoked well and the meat fell off the bone. So good! Also had their version of poutine. It was amazing! The staff were pleasant as well.

Yelp
For what seemed like a local hangout, this place is pretty awful. This is also a bowling alley, has billiards, and an arcade. This makes for a very loud dining experience. We arrived at 7:30pm and asked for seating for 6. We were told it would be around 15 minutes. As we waited we witnessed multiple people get seated before us who came in later than we did. They have a surprisingly small amount of seating for such a large place. After 30 minutes of waiting the waitress said, " I guess you can take this table" which had been open for the last 20 minutes. Very odd. We kind of got the vibe that as out of towners we were not the priority. We were ready to order right away as we had plenty of time to look at the menu after our 30 minute wait. We all ordered burgers and fries. Another 30 minutes go by and we have nothing. Then 3 of our burgers are served. All the burgers were over done and the cheese was put on cold and not melted. The side dish you are given is a rice medley, which was cold. It was ok, not sure if it was supposed to be warm. We also got a pice of BBQ corn on the cob. Some of the pieces we got were ice cold, like they had been in the fridge while others where slightly warm. Again, very odd. Then 10 minutes after the first burgers arrive 2 more burgers arrive. Again, over done dried out burgers, cold cheese. Then after another 5 minutes my meal arrives. I got the Big Bacon Burger which was $17. Let's just say it's a waste of money. It isn't any bigger than the other burgers and the bacon they put on was cold. My cheese was also not melted. I got Poutine and it was my first experience with Poutine so not sure how to rate it. It was fine by me. Anyway, I would only Coke here to use the bowling alley. We tried to use a few Canadian quarters we had in the arcade and the machine ate our quarters so yeah. The best part is it says it is a licensed Howlers, man this is a poor representation of this franchise.

Yelp
Not easy to find restaurants past 10 pm in Ucluelet. Howlers was open we were hungry. The atmosphere is typical of a bar/pool/pub food. it was pretty busy and we had a short wait. The staff were friendly. My wife ordered the fish and chips and I went for the buttermilk chicken sandwich. we were both satisfied with the quality and portions. One concern I had was that some patrons were boisterous and swearing Unfortunately seated next to them were some young children. The restaurant mentions it is a family restaurant so was expecting staff would ask the group to tone it down. Otherwise, a great place for some good grub!

Yelp
Had an amazing burger at this restaurant. Quick and speedy on delivery for something that tasted amazing and homemade.

Jo H.

Yelp
We loved every bite, Southwest bowl, fish and chips, chicken strips and fries, and more.

Yelp
Great food and staff. Fresh fish for the fish and chips and locally made deserts. No Cisco foods here.

Yelp
This is a must visit when in town. It was one of the best wraps I have ever had (shrimp tempura). It was a taste sensation as it delivered in shrimp flavour as well as freshness. The salad accompanying the wrap was perfectly dressed and was sufficient in quantity. Coffee was good (18% cream). Fries and elk burger were also delicious. Too full for the waffle dessert but we're not leaving until tomorrow! Could be back for waffles and pool later!

Brenda G.

Yelp
We needed a patio for our dog travelling from Ontario. Very accomodating. Clam chowder was excellent with veggies too. Calamarie delish with a home made dip. We took home a slice of a local ladys orange cheesecake since we were full. Review later. The inside looked like fun with games if we return. Sweet staff

Yelp
Great spot for families and for all! We were staying near by and it was suggested that we check howlers out as it was a really neat place. The rumors did not disappoint. The venue is a restaurant, 5 pin bowling alley, billiard, and arcade. We came for drinks and dinner, ended up staying for a few rounds of pool. The food was fresh and delicious! We had the bacon wrapped scallops to start, these were served with a housem made pickled carrot salad. For our mains we had the stuffed avocados with bacon and salmon, and the seafood Alfredo. The food is all very reasonably priced for the quality of ingredients. After dinner I wanted to bowl, but all the lanes were taken so we played pool instead. The pool rates are by the hour. The next day we returned for a drink and bowling. They provide the shoes and it's only 2.50 per person per game. I believe a young couple has recently taken over this establishment. I look forward to coming back every time we are in Ukee. Such a neat spot with great offerings and nice sense of community.

Yelp
This is a great restaurant to stop at if you're passing through Ucluelet or are staying in Tofino. It wasn't very busy and they offer lots of space indoors or on the patio. The staff are friendly and there's something on the menu for everyone. We had their chicken caesar wrap, poutine and burger all of which was very good. Highly recommend to those who would like to dine in for a change, as Tofino is too busy to.
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious food, great drink choices and the bowling was a perfect way to amuse the kids while they waited for their food. We ate the poutine, fish and chips, Indo fusion salad (omg, divine) and khanachos. All of it was yummy and worth the significant wait. It was jam packed and not enough staff in the kitchen or on the floor to cope with the demand but our waitress was extremely polite and did her absolute best.

Yelp
dined there last nite (SatOct20/18/8pm) .. brought our Twin 4yos .. Tempura Wrap (GREAT) for Wifey, Chicken Burger (Good) for Guest and Tempura Prawn (GOOD) appy for me .. also had the DF Pickles (Excellent) happy for the table. Kids were happy too, but were done by the end of the meal, had to bounce and couldn't enjoy time in th back room w the pinball machines or pool tables :( Service was QUALITY (Jillian), quick and FRIENDLY) DEFINATELY recommend !! (we all are from NY/the Hamptons)

Yelp
Ate here a couple nights on a recent trip and our family of seven enjoyed it both times. Tasty food (loved the Howler Burger with bacon and cheddar) and, from our experience, friendly staff. Like every other restaurant in this tourist town, be ready for a hefty bill at the end of your meal. But should we return to this part of the world, we would return to this establishment.

Yelp
This restaurant was fantastic ! After the hotel recommended it with the pretence of "don't let that it's a bowling ally scare you away" we went on a with an open mind that was blown away ! The service was amazing and the menu had just the right amount of options ! The food came quickly and was amazing ! The house made Caesar dressing is beyond words ! It was all fantastic !!

Laura L.

Yelp
We were treated like an inconvenience and it only got worse.! The waitress treated us very rudely when we asked how much longer for our food after waiting 45 minutes she replied with "can't you see we are busy " . Food was ok . Our waitress quit coming to our table and sent someone else who was pleasant . Couldn't figure out why the waitress was wearing gloves but no mask ? .

Yelp
Wish I lived here so I could order their seafood linguine all the time!! AMAZING!! It was a busy night. We were in town visiting my brother who resides in ukee. This was my second time visiting and we again were a party of 10!! My SIL phoned ahead and advised we were coming and they reserved a table for us. We arrived and were a bit late but the other party was there and had drinks on the table. We were quickly greeted by our server who although busy asked to take our drink order. I ordered a house white and my husband had something on tap... he enjoyed as anything alcoholic with three kids under 5 is a necessity. We then quickly ordered our meals and my husband had the beef dip which he said was top notch with crunchy onions. I had the seafood linguine and still can't stop thinking about it 3 weeks later. The kids shared a grilled cheese which appeared they enjoyed. After dinner we bowled!! It was a blast!! What a treat!! Cannot wait to come back to ukee to visit. We won't bother going to Tofino Bc the food may be better in ukee in my opinion!! Yumm!! Thank you Howlers once again you did not disappoint!

Yelp
Passing through the area with 5 of us. Our hotel recommended this place. It is a bit of an odd combination of pub, restaurant, surf and gift shop and bowling alley. The menu is basic and goes a bit beyond typical pub fare. We had a variety of their burgers. All were good. Prices were above average for the type of establishment but given the nature of this touristy area that is not surprising.

Yelp
A delightful little place in Ucluelet, totally worth the high reviews we read, set along the main road in the sleepy little town along the Peninsula. The place has a delightful setup, two lanes for family bowling, and a gift shoppe for the trinket hunters. Deep inside, if you go for that kind of thing, before or after the meal, there is a massive games area set up for arcade, pinball, and pool. But we were there for the food. What a mind opening experience. Fun fast and friendly, super friendly! staff were incredibly helpful describing dishes and answering questions, each ready with eager smiles. Despite one night being incredibly busy, food arrived within record times. Delicious, local IPA brews on tap kept the conversation going until the first bite. We went back twice, and the service was amazing both times. It was so hard to find a place with reasonable prices, we didn't feel it right to wander aimless in search of the unknown, so like the cheap cowards we are, we went back for another stab at a rather plentiful menu. The options are delicious. There are great veggie options for those in that diet. Going with seafood our expectations were surpassed and I had one of the best chowders ever. I can honestly put it in the top three while mentally recounting my long history with the chowder, east coast and west coast, since I was little. Seriously. And the sweet potatoe fries were so crisp and clean with barely a trace of grease. The freshly caught salmon was grilled to perfection. The salads and veggies all came in an amazing presentation-style. Big bonus! No rumbly tummies on the walk back to the hotel or while in bed. Would always go back when visiting that part of Vancouver Island. Well done team!

Yelp
First time on the West Coast and found a great place in Ucluelet. Perfect mix of drinks, good food, and family fun with a really cool mini bowling alley. Great for kids of all ages. Arcade games and billiards as well. Exceeded our expectations. Kids want to come back!!

Yelp
If you're in this town... go anywhere but this restaurant !!! Bad service, horrible food and to add there was a long wait to even get in, I guess Coz' it was a Sunday. Ordered our food which took another 45 minutes, my toddler got so hungry and cranky. My hot wings came with all the spice but no salt, after returning to the server, they just sprinkled some salt and gave it back. My husband ordered the big bad bacon burger which lacked all the taste and flavor. To top it up the service was so lousy and bad, we never got our water until we asked, no cutlery even after the food was served. Our biggest mistake was going by the recommendations on yelp. Don't be fooled and avoid this hell hole.

Yelp
This place is DOOOOOOOOOOPE! I wasn't too stoked that half of the menu was unavailable, as my first 3 choices were things I wasn't able to get. That's a bit frustrating. BUT I went with the special bison burger and it was really good. The quality of the food is way higher than you'd expect, we were very happy with what we got. I also dug the huge hot sauce collection that you can look through to pick whatever you like. We decided to do some bowling. The bowling alley part is a bit rough around the edges and could use some love, but we had a great time. Also loved that you just tell a server, basically, and the charge gets added to your bill. Spent some time in the arcade after that. They have a great mix of games in there. One of the oldest pinball tables definitely needed some care, but I've ran pinball machines before and know how easily they stop working perfect. The mix of new-ish stuff to old stuff was great. A good little collection. I really didn't want to leave! Planned on coming back the next night but ran out of time. Will definitely be back next time i'm in ukee. One thing that bugged me was the Monster energy drink branding everywhere. Gorgeous 80's looking bowling alley design above the pins and then SLAM a monster logo smack in the middle of it? You guys are doing yourselves a disservice with that stuff. Get rid of it!

Yelp
Came here tonight for a light meal. Staffs are very friendly. Great service. We ordered tempura prawns: good size. Fresh and crispy. Ginger spiced cake: slightly dry, I would've enjoyed it more if it was warmed up but it tasted pretty good.

Anne S.

Yelp
This is a fantastic restaurant in a really amazing west coast town. Had the chicken burger and it was absolutely delicious, the prawn skewers were great too. Solid beer selection (not huge, but decent), and an incredible atmosphere. It's a really cool restaurant/bar with lots of arcade games you can play, in a central location - easily walkable from different parts of the town). 10/10 would recommend.
google avatar

Riyan A.

Yelp
Welcoming west coast bar and restaurant with a fantastic vibe. Great Arcade and lots of fun for all ages. Come for one stay for a few. Food menu is top notch and a great patio to boot.

Yelp
Good food and cozy environment. The waiter we had was really nice. I had the beef dip with a side Caesar salad, and it was really good!
google avatar

Carol C.

Yelp
We ordered steamed clams (mussel was out of the season) & bacon wrapped scallops. The clam was really tasty, the baby spinach in it added a very nice touch. The scallop was a little cold. Guess it was put on hold for the clams to get ready. Otherwise, it would be perfect!

Yelp
This review is based on 2 visits. The first time we checked this place out was 2 years ago and the food was better than the restaurants in those higher end hotels!!! Here we are again visiting and the first stop when we arrive was here. Both had the fish and chips and it was cooked perfectly. Friendly and local and they know how to properly cook food. It's a family restaurant nothing fancy, but good all round food.

Michael F.

Yelp
I was hoping for a little more. My son's drink did not include free refills. It was a small glass. Luckily the waitress brought us a pitcher of water. The menu said mini corn dogs ...but she brought out a full corn dog which appeared to be partially burnt. They were out of sour cream for my wife's wrap she got. The Cesar salad I got was ok, but the Salmon wrap wasn't my favorite. My wife got the Poutine fries , which she said wasn't as good as another local restaurant. All in all it was just okay....

Yelp
Review is for 2 visits. First was dinner on a Saturday night (5pm-ish). Waitress was kind, on the ball, and offered her opinion on what food she recommended based on what I was thinking. My husband and I both had the halibut caught that day. Best fish Ive ever had! Service was great, quick. Went to have brunch the next day (12pm-ish). Ended up having the SAME waitress and same table as night before. (Wanted to try Bluebird Cafe- was told 45 min wait by people who had been waiting. Was told food was excellent there but had to leave at certain time) waitress was pre-occupied, while pouring our coffees kept looking away and spilling it all over table TWICE. Then rolled her eyes when we asked for a napkin. Food was great again. But with the waitress being completely inattentive, slow and rude this time we only have 3 stars.
google avatar

Charissa G.

Yelp
Food is AMAZING here. Fries are crispy and flavourful but not heavy. Service was great. Caesar salad on point - 100% perfect. Not too much dressing. Cajun chicken FTW. Fusion bowl was TO DIE for. Falafel wrap also deeeelish but a huge portion. Highly recommend this spot!

Yelp
Such an amazing place!! Pinball machines! I have looked everywhere for good pinball and here I found 5 machines, plus two pool tables, 1 billiard, 1bubble hockey game plus tons of arcade games. Also a mini bowling alley! Good music. I had their chicken burger and it was amazing. So tender and yummy. Yam fries perfect. My son and his friend are off the kids menu. $10 they got A burger, fries or salad, a game of bowling, plus dessert. Very good value. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Really good pub fare. Howlers is a sprawling space that allows you to enjoy your food while your kids run amok in the arcade. We went on a winter afternoon and had the place to ourselves - wonderful burgers, hand cut fries (great poutine and yam fries too) and then duck pin bowling! We had a great time.

Kit S.

Yelp
I've been to Ucluelet a few times over the past couple of years. The first time I went to Howler's was because it was the only place open late and have made a point of going back there every time I come back to town. I typically have whatever the special is and have never been disappointed. This is not just your average pub-grub. The food is excellent and well worth it. Highly recommended.

Jennifer L.

Yelp
Worst experience ever! Being the only restaurant open past 10pm in the area, we tried to phone ahead to order for a large group of 8. We were put on hold for a long time so we decided to head over to order takeout. Service was mediocre and the restaurant was not too busy, the servers were mainly drying glasses the entire duration we were there. We got quoted to wait 20 - 25 minutes for our food, however, we ended up waiting over an hour. We ordered the wild pacific seafood linguini and got penne instead. The mussels in the pasta was half raw and poorly seasoned. The clam chowder was glorified black pepper soup. It was not thick like chowder and overly seasoned with black pepper, the clams were non existent. The chicken strips tasted very basic and dry, similar to the ones you get in fast food chains. The burger patties were dry and under seasoned. Overall, would not recommend.

Yelp
Came here on two recommendations but probably expected too much. I had the fish and chips (7pm and they only had two pieces left) - the French fries were more on the cold side and the cod wasn't tasty - it felt that the oil wasn't changed for some time or the cod wasn't kept at the right temperature. The service was far away from friendly. I missed the usual "hello, how are you..." instead got a "what can I get you" from a stressed out looking waitress. It was also difficult to find something for our family member who is allergic to milk and peanuts (there are no food with peanuts but everything else had milk in it - except the Hot Dogs). ...and make sure you are not in a rush - the service takes quite some time... A second server checked on us and she took off the food from our bill. And then our first waitress also took off the drinks from our bill - we ended up only paying for one person. This complaint was handled very professionally. Now the bowling is a totally different experience. The machines are pretty cool but are ancient and don't work properly...

Yelp
I have to admit, I down loaded this app and created an account just to say; the Big Bad Bacon and Onion burger is the best burger I have ever had in my entire life. From flavour to texture to the battered fries. I would bet my bottom dollar that you will love this burger. Will be back.

Yelp
So fun with all those 80's/90's stand up video games. Pool is free which is even better. Did not get a chance to bowl but will definitely try next time. The crabby Patty burger along with the dill pickle wings were really good. Great place for the whole family!

Yelp
Listen, this isn't fine dining. It is a bowling alley and an arcade. Kids will love the ambiance. Pool sharks will like the tables and space. Foodies will be disgusted by almost all of that. Still, the food was very good. The burgers are fresh, the chowder homemade, and fries crispy and addictive. The beers were fresh and mostly local. In the whole, it's a 5/5 for what it is.

Yelp
After reading some reviews for Howler's we were excited to check it out. However, we were disappointed. The hostess was lovely, however, if she'd told us it would be just under two hours before we'd sit down and eat, we would have gone elsewhere. There are very few options in the town and this seemed right-family friendly and priced right. The burger we ordered was pink so we had to send it back. The next one we received wasn't much better but we felt we'd had enough of the Howler experience. The calmari was barely warm. However, on the plus side, the fish taco and the poutine were good. A recommendation if you come here is order take out. It's not worth the wait to just be seated for just so so food.

Yelp
Delicious and fresh! Also cheap. Very good! They even have a bowling field for kids! Suit for family meals.
