Hoysala Village Resort

Hoysala Resort is a fantastic choice if you're visiting Belur in Hassan for temple visits. We stopped here for lunch and were impressed from the moment we arrived. The warm welcome set the tone for a delightful experience.||||The ambiance is serene and well-suited for relaxing after exploring the nearby temples. The food is excellent, whether you prefer vegetarian or non-vegetarian options. Each dish was flavorful and of high quality, reflecting the care taken in its preparation.||||The service was top-notch, with attentive staff ensuring our meal was enjoyable. Considering the atmosphere, quality, and service, the pricing was very reasonable.||||Overall, Hoysala Resort is not just a great place to eat but also a promising option for a stay if you're exploring this culturally rich region. Amazing hospitality at Hoysala Village resort. The resort is beautiful and the traditional theme resonated really well with my family. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They made sure all our requests are met. Special mention to Ashwini, Manjula and Harish for being so friendly and helpful. They made our stay more memorable. |Huge spread of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner, though I would say the food items were a hit and miss. Only major drawback is the cost. I felt it was expensive for the value.

Our stay was an absolute delight. The dedicated staff, particularly Ashwini, Pawan, Lithin, Manjula, Nitin, Navin, Praveen, Harish, Bhagya Ganga Maa, and Ramesh consistently exceeded expectations. The exquisite cuisine, expertly crafted by the chef to satisfy every palate, was a true highlight. The resort's ambiance was idyllic and serene, creating a truly unforgettable experience. We eagerly anticipate our return to this exceptional haven of traditional hospitality, where impeccable service and thoughtful gestures made our stay truly memorable. We went as a family of 3 and had a really good time in the resort. Both the dinner and breakfast were good. the room was also beautiful - The traditional warli paintings showcasing huli vesha , Bhoota kola, yakshaghana and kambala on the cuboard was the highlight for us. Ashwini helped us settle down well and Harish our guide took us on a village walk and was very patient with our 6 year old and explained about the animals to her in a way that she could understand and find it interesting. The bullock cart ride was also a unique activity for our kid who had never been in one earlier.

The rooms are big and clean. The staff is nice but needs a lot of training. They seemed unhappy and underpaid. The food is fairly ok. Lacks transparency in pricing. We booked the rooms with breakfast and lunch/dinner included. Upon arrival they forced us to take gala dinner on both nights without a dinner option. The gala dinner was 1500 Rs/ person per night and they were not ready or listened to adjust the price as per the booking. The place is isolated near the highway and there's nothing close by.

The resort is also family-friendly, and my kid had a great time exploring the lush green surroundings and enjoying the swimming pool and other activities. Overall, Hoysala Village Resort exceeded our expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful stay. We can't wait to visit again!

Very good stay at the resort, charming well equipped large rooms, good decor. Food is excellent, large selection to choose from for dinner. Traditional breakfast was served on banana leaf, was tasty. All staff were welcoming and smiling, very attentive, met our every need, couldn't fault anything. Would definitely recommend the resort for a comfortable stay, with good food and excellent service.
