We had a wonderful stay at 9 de Julio Hotel! The location is perfect — right in the center of Buenos Aires with easy access to major attractions and a beautiful view of the widest avenue in the world. The rooms are spacious, clean, and charming with their high ceilings, loft bedrooms and comfortable setup.||The room service–style breakfast was a pleasant surprise — a unique and personal touch that made mornings feel cozy and relaxed. During our stay, the staff asked for feedback, and we shared a few nice-to-have suggestions like face towels, drinking glasses, and paper towels for the kitchen sink. They responded promptly and professionally, which we truly appreciated.||Overall, a great combination of comfort, service, and location — we’d definitely stay here again!

Great rooms in a perfect location. The room set up is definitely not for everyone, but we loved it! Didn’t try the breakfast but saw it in someone else’s room and it looks great

It was the worst experience I’ve ever had in Argentina. On my third trip to this beautiful country, I made the mistake of staying at HTL… and I will never go back. Upon arrival, I had an issue with the room lock that took an entire night to fix. When I asked for help, the receptionist (Agostina) responded rudely and basically told me that if I couldn’t wait, I should go to another hotel. The service is terrible, guest care does not exist, and the breakfast is of very poor quality. If I could, I would give it 0 stars. A place that ruins your travel experience.

I made my reservation through booking.com a month ago. When I arrived at that hotel at 5 am, they first charged you for cleaning the room. If you want an extra towel, they charge for it. The place is decrepit, humid, the walls have been painted a hundred times. The hallways are very narrow and dark. I was with my family in that room for 10 minutes. The bathroom was on a mezzanine that, at my age, was impossible to climb. I called booking.com to cancel that reservation and get my money back. They said they would check with the hotel. Three days later, they already said no. Meaning, they stole my money. The hotel offered to send us to another similar hotel, but I refused because I couldn't trust scammers who claim to be 4-star and with excellent reviews. Don't go there, don't book so that what my family and I went through doesn't happen to you.

We booked this hotel more than 6 months ago, when travelling to BsAs on the last day before the stay they cancelled the room, despite that we have written proof that we will pay at the reception and the reservation was made via Booking. At the end we came there and there was no room for us. What a shame and disrespectful. I chose this hotel as I wanted to calebrate my birthday here, nonthing of this will happen. If you want to be sure where you will stay dzring your holidays, do not bookbthis hotel!!

Excellent location. Their large lofts are ideal for families that don’t want separate rooms for the kids. Breakfast is served in the dining area in each loft.

We stayed in a loft that was suitable for 3 people, the layout of the rooms are quirky, fun and imaginative. There are many amenities nearby as well as plenty to see and do. There were some noise problems and the curtains did not shut all the way downstairs which left a gap that people could look in whilst you are sleeping.

The hotel is in a good location for attractions and transport, all within easy reach. The location isn’t the best for the evening, as there aren’t many restaurants or bars local to the hotel which cater to dinner time or drinks. The room was tired and didn’t fully match the photos. The balcony was inaccessible due to three large aircon units. There were holes in the curtains and a broken skirting board in the bedroom area. The kitchen facilities were fine, however there were no bowls - I had planned to buy cereal and milk for breakfasts but couldn’t do this. There the biggest let down was the bathroom. It was not of the standard I’d expect of a four-star hotel. The shower was old, the sealant around the shower was old and moulding and it was very small and dated. Daily cleaning is also not included and is charged as extra, again not what I’d expect from a four-star hotel.
