Hua Chang Heritage Hotel

Stylish and very centrally located. They offer complimentary coconut ice cream and serve a great breakfast with plenty of variety given it is not a big size hotel. Staff are friendly, and the hotel has a boutique charm. The only downside is that some rooms near the street can be noisy, so light sleepers should request a quieter room. Overall, a pleasant stay! Also many cute elephants and heritage figures!

I booked Hua Chang Heritage Hotel because it was listed as a 5-star hotel on Agoda. But honestly, this is not a luxurious hotel. I don’t even think it deserves 4 stars.||The building is old, the hallways are dark, and the elevator smelled really bad. It was also very hot inside the lift because there was no air conditioning. 🥵||The room was quite spacious, but the bathroom was very strange. There was no real wall separating the bathroom from the bed area — only a sliding partition. So the bathtub felt like it was in the middle of the room 🛁, which made it feel uncomfortable and not private. The curtain in the room also looked cheap.||The swimming pool was also disappointing. It looked a bit dirty, quite small, and the shape/design felt odd. 🏊‍♀️ I didn’t feel like using it at all.||Breakfast was just okay — nothing special. 🍽️ Just standard items, not what you expect from a 5-star hotel.||To me, this didn’t feel like a proper hotel. It felt more like a big house with many rooms rented out to tourists. The whole place gave me a strange feeling.||However, the staff were very friendly 😊 and helpful, and the location is really great. It’s in the Siam area, so it’s easy to walk to MBK, Siam Paragon, and other nearby shopping malls 🛍️. That was the best part of staying here.||If you are booking this hotel because of the “5-star” label, I recommend managing your expectations. The photos online look nice, but the real experience was disappointing.

About ten minutes ago, I checked into my room at this wonderful hotel. The lobby is beautiful, and the location is excellent. Everything, in my opinion, is simply wonderful. Angel and her companion, Ton Aor, at the front desk were professional, friendly, and very helpful. I’m truly grateful to them. The front lobby manager and the tour attendants also demonstrated the highest level of professionalism. I’m completely satisfied with the check-in process, the lobby, the surrounding area, my room, and the overall quality of this fine hotel. I fully intend for this to be the first of many visits here. I highly recommend this hotel. Special recommendations for all the hotel staff.

The rooms were spacious and spotless, with great décor and crisp bed sheets. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a huge variety of options! The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble. I really like this hotel. Both beautiful and spacious You can do many activities and the staff also provide good service. The price is reasonable and can make my vacation very relaxing. If there is a chance, I would like to bring my friends and family to stay here. This hotel is a cheap hotel. And there are officers who provide good service. Located in a place that is easy to travel to. The area inside the hotel is clean.

We had a wonderful stay at Huachang Heritage Hotel. The room was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated just as shown in the photos. The bathroom was large and well-appointed, featuring a bathtub, an automatic toilet, and a shower with excellent water pressure. The hotel staff were very attentive—thank you for the excellent service. We especially enjoyed dining at their Thai restaurant, Miss Siam, which served truly authentic and delicious Thai cuisine. The swimming pool was another highlight; it gave us a relaxed, resort-like feeling in the middle of the city. We also appreciated the happy hour at the bar, offering local beer from 5 to 8 pm. The location is superb—right in the heart of Bangkok, within walking distance of BTS stations and major shopping malls. If there had been a clothes line to hang wet clothes, it would have been perfect. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and conveniently located stay in Bangkok.

I stayed at this hotel in Feb/March2025. We were given a complimentary welcome set, with tea, ice cream and crackers- great touch! The room itself was spacious and clean, however the windows don't open and balcony can't be accessed. Pictures are deceiving. The pool is lovely but receives very little sunlight. The small fridge did a very poor job of cooling drinks and water. One small incident soured my trip- which was a letter from reception/housecleaning suggesting that the face towel was heavily soiled and threatening to charge a deep cleaning fee. I was particularly annoyed by this as staff waited until we were out to issue the letter. I am a dark-skinned person (Indian) and it was quite clear from the visible make up wipes and 2 cleansers in the bathroom, that I'd washed and cleaned my face before using the towel to dry my face. At most there may have been small remnants of make up that would've been wiped, though I didn't see anything I thought was heavily soiled and have never encountered this issue after years of travel. As a hotel chain using white linen and charging approx $180 AUD/night, the cost of a dirty face washer really should be accepted as a cost they may need to incur, and guests shouldn't be threatened with "deep cleaning" fees for linen costing no more than $5. Hotel staff were not friendly in the slightest either, which only continued after this incident.

Huachang Heritage Hotel is a lovely place to stay if you want to be close to Siam. The location is super convenient—just a short walk to shopping and BTS. It’s peaceful but still right in the heart of the city. The room was clean and comfortable, with a nice bathtub for relaxing. I also loved the Thai-style decor, which gave it a charming touch. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise with traditional Thai desserts included, and you can enjoy it with a view of the pool. Overall, it's a cozy and stylish hotel with great service and location. Perfect for a city break or a quiet escape right in the middle of Bangkok!

Our 4 nights at Hua Chang Heritage Hotel was nothing short of magical. I loved how responsive they were in assuring me that they will do their best to try and accommodate my particular requests and when we did check-in to the room, everything was according to what I envisioned - a King Sized bed with a view facing the Hua Chang Pier. These were just the side features, upon entering, the room was just breathtaking. Very elegantly designed and everything was well put and in pristine condition. What you see in the pictures doesn’t do justice to the rooms. It looks even better in person. The colors and the furniture were just very romantic and cozy.||To say that the room was the highlight would be an injustice to the other amenities and especially to the staff! I had reservations about making a reservation because it was right beside the BTS and the noise can be bothersome especially for light sleepers. That was not the case and even if it was beside the major highway, you can rarely hear the traffic in the room or anywhere in the hotel. The pool and dining area were very picturesque and the restaurant, Miss Siam is not to be missed. ||The staff were all amazing and kind, from the receptionist to the doorman, to the waiters and cleaners, everyone was pleasant and accommodating. And amazingly enough, when we said we had an early morning excursion, they prepared breakfast boxes for us which included a large sandwich, slices of fruit, a bottle of water and a bottle of juice. Very thoughtful of them.||It was a perfect 4 nights for our honeymoon. Highly recommended.
