Definitely worth a visit if you are in Hua Hin. Very OG vibe with an old engine parked in the side tracks. Scenic railway station with a cafe and royal architecture. There is a garden on the platform. The washrooms are clean and functional.

It's beautiful and stylish, but I'd like to ask the railway to add large ceiling fans in the waiting area or a small convenience store to facilitate tourists.

The train station itself was good and clean. The first employee that I interacted with at the ticket counter was nice and helpful. Later, I had some questions about my ticket, so I asked this ladyman working at the ticket counter and it had a terrible attitude. I was just asking simple questions about the destination and they seemed annoyed. I even used my translator to make it easier and they just rolled their eyes and kept telling me no, said that they’ll just refund my ticket. I didn’t ask for a refund. I couldn’t even finish trying to ask about other train schedules without this worker cutting me off and denying to answer anything. That person was no help at all. I ended up asking the security guards for help and they were so nice and helpful!

The station and ticket office are open 24 hours a day, it is possible to buy tickets at any time. The staff is polite and smiling. The interior of the building and its surroundings are very clean and well-maintained. There is a very original old locomotive standing next to the train tracks in the garden, it is a must-see. In general, it is new, clean and very busy, my assessment is that I liked it. The toilets are clean and useful.

A charming and historical spot with great character! Hua Hin Train Station is one of the most beautiful and unique train stations in Thailand, with its traditional colonial-style architecture and vibrant colors. The station is well-maintained, and you can feel the rich history as soon as you step onto the platform. Recently, a new train terminal has been constructed, offering added convenience for travelers. You can even store your bags and luggage in a secure room if you don’t want to carry them around, which is a great service. We took an ordinary train from Hua Hin to Bangkok, and it was incredibly affordable—only 44 baht! The journey was comfortable, but if you’re looking for a more luxurious experience with air conditioning, I recommend booking in advance for better seats. The station is conveniently located, close to the town center and easily accessible from local transportation options. However, it can get a bit crowded during peak times, so be prepared for that. Also, the station facilities like bathrooms could use some improvements to make it even more comfortable for travelers. Overall, it’s a lovely spot to visit, whether you’re catching a train or just exploring Hua Hin’s historical landmarks.

Nice and clean station. I attached a timetable of trains, both directions. The staff speaks english. It's better to buy a ticket for special trains in advance, 1 day minimum. We learnt the hard way. Ordinary trains are also comfy but slower, however, much cheaper. From Hua Hin to Bangkok it's 42 bath.

A real gem. Totally newly built swanky station. Total polar opposite to what I expected. Exceptionally clean and well maintained. Throw in the renovated 1910 station to the side with an old engine and it created a wonderful balance. Worth visiting.

a nice place with an almost toy-like station, where trains no longer arrive. you can sit on a bench, look at tourists from all over the world, you can drink coffee in a nice coffee shop. I especially like the tiny square in front of the station, with a huge tree and a portrait of Rama 9.
