Hualien Bed and Breakfast Ocean View Bed and Breakfast is the wave hit

We love this place! We had the top floor double suite with ocean view. The room was spacious and the ocean view was extraordinary. In the day you can watch the waves, in the night you can admire the room from the balcony. The sound of the waves was also relaxing. The king bed was huge and comfortable. The room comes with an above average size bathtub. Price includes breakfast which will be sent directly to your room. It is less than 5 mins walk to the dongdamen night market

Beautiful place with a great deck and ocean view. Walking and biking path along the ocean. Room was clean with a very comfortable soft bed. Great water pressure in the shower. We loved it.

We loved this hotel! The location is unbeatable, and it was so nice having a balcony overlooking the ocean. The room was really spacious and clean, and the breakfast was delicious. The rooftop terrace was also a wonderful place to have a drink and watch the ocean / mountains. Highly recommend!

Our tour guide recommended this accomodation to us and while it was not our initial choice we are really glad we went with his suggestion! This place is less than a 5 min walk away from Dongdamen market. In addition if you have a sea facing room you'll sleep to the sound of waves and wake up to the sea and sun which is pretty amazing!

Great hospitality and service from both husband and wife owners. We booked a quadruple room. The lady boss kindly offered us an extra pillow and blanket since we are family of 5 with 3 kids. They also offered help to buy our train tickets back to Taipei earlier as seats get sold out fast, and drove us to the train station on the day we checked out. Ordered our free breakfast item from the menu the night before, and breakfast were served in room, simple but very delicious! Room and bathroom were very clean and spacious. Loved the balcony facing the Pacific Ocean, 24 hours non-stop sound of waves hitting the beach!! Can just stay in the room enjoying the sea scenery not going out! The night market just 5 mins walk from the B&B. So convenient! Highly recommended!

This place was just recently rebuilt by same owners. Very clean, big spacious room. One of the few minsu that comes with lift! Water coolers provided (hot water as well). Provides free transport from train station (just need to liaise with them in advance). Great sea view from room (if you book the sea facing ones). Roof top has great views as well. Very nice breakfast provided as well. All in a great experience.

We liked this min su very much. Rooms and toilets were big and clean. Beds were big and double beds were a generous king size. (All other places we stayed in Taiwan only had queen size double beds.) Pictures are exactly as what their website showed. Owners were friendly and helpful and generously provided bottles of mineral water daily. Breakfast was satisfactory. The owners are not there in the mornings (they need to rest too!) and the lady staff would take away sandwiches on her way in, cut some fruits and fry an egg for each of us. We did our laundry and hung our clothes at the balcony to dry, though we could have used the dryer for free too. There was a covered balcony on level 3, an open air balcony on the top level and most rooms with sea views seemed to have their own private balonies. However, if you cannot climb stairs, this is not the place for you. The view of the ocean is as seen in the pictures but the coast is rocky. The only beach in the area is a pebble beach at Qi Xing Tan. The other buildings in the neighbourhood are rather old and poorly maintained, the min su seems to be the exception. Would recommend a 2 nights stay to explore Hua Lien city and Taroko Gorge.

The rooms are big and clean. Breakfast simple but acceptable. The lady boss and husband were extremely hospitable. Whenever the bosses are around, they always offer to drive guests to the town area. Originally intended to stay 2 nights in Hualien but due to bad weather condition, we have to adjust our itinerary for another night. The boss went the extra mile to make the best transport arrangement (booking the best train back to taipei) for us. ||||Great accomodation! Excellent customer service!
