It is a short walk from Hualien Train station. Upon arrival, I used Wi-Fi at the hostel to contact the staff to obtain a passcode to enter the hostel.My room is assigned to me, when I provided the booking information via Line. I was asked to change shoes when going upstairs.Generally, it is good for one night stopover. The price may be higher during the ***** New Year holiday.

The hostel is close to train station. You can borrow a free bike 15min ride to night market. The hostel owner is very nice too

This is a great hostel for solo travelers. It has a very home style feel with children running around the main downstairs area, people watching tv, playing games, chatting on the phone - very relaxed. The host are friendly and the free bikes are a great addition. They have single rooms that are cheap as well.

This was a very reasonably priced hostel, and we were able to get a two bed room, so it was basically private. The staff didn't speak much English, but they spoke enough to help us out and were very friendly. The location is an easy walk from the train and bus stations. They loaned us an umbrella when we went out for dinner in the rain. If we stayed in the area again, I would come back.

We really enjoyed staying here. The rooms are smaĺl but we managed. There is a great hang out place downstairs with Netflix, use of a fridge, toaster oven, hot water, tea, coffee and drinking water. We found the owners to be a lovely young couple with a 4 month old baby. They even surprised us with a special Hualien cake one day! 5 min walk from train. No towels, you have to have your own. Recommend.

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in Taiwan, stayed here five years ago, still same as before very warming friendly place that the owner helps you out with.

The Hostal was two blocks away from Hualian Station, the Hosts were super friendly. Given that we mainly used it for sleeping as we eere visiting Taroko, the spare bikes that they were really gentle to lend us were a super help. My experience was really great. I highly recommend. The price was more than fair. I was in charge of the booking, and all of my friends were really glad about my decision.

The staff here are very friendly and helpful. Location is very close to the train\bus station, grocery store, restaurants etc... The room was too small for the double bed which was sideways and you have tp crawl over someone to get in and out if you're on the window side. Breakfast is dry toast, so mark anything you put in the fridge as "private" or the chinese guest will take it.
