"Landscape Opera in Xi'an Going to watch a landscape opera in Xi'an feels like the Chinese version of going to Shakespeare in the Park (minus the dialogue) in New York. The performance is set amidst the ruins of Hua Qing Palace. I went to see The Song of Unending Sorrow , which is adapted from a famous Chinese poem by Bai Juyi. The opera tells the story of the love between Tang Emperor Xuan Zong and his concubine. Some call it a Chinese spin on Romeo and Juliet . The set expands beyond the stage to the mountains in the backdrop that light up with twinkling stars and a big moon. Even if you can’t understand the language, you can still follow the dramatic plot thanks to the costumes, music, and scenery."

Most beautiful and lavish bathhouse. This place is so magical and beautiful. It’s so cool to see back in the 600/700 they use hot springs to bath and how important bathing is.

Nice place with a lot of history and hot springs. I went to this place on a tour with around 15 other people. As it snowed heavily that day and the temperature is very low, the visibility is actually low as well, so I was not able to see some views that can be seen on a sunny day. Other than that, it's a nice place to spend a few hours especially if you are on a tour to Terra Cotta as well.

Very interesting historic site leaned quite allot about the history and the hot springs in this area definitely worth a visit here with a guide would be best would take you about 1~2 hours to walk though the place.

Nice place to visit 华清池位于中华人民共和国陕西省西安临潼区骊山北麓，是唐代华清宫内的温泉浴池，以温泉和风景秀丽著称，更因唐玄宗和杨贵妃的爱情故事而著称于世。华清池是中国国家5A级旅游景区。景区内有唐代华清宫御汤遗址博物馆、西安事变旧址。现今华清池的多数亭台楼阁，多为1949年以来修建恢复的仿唐代建筑，现在的华清池坐落在唐代华清宫遗址上，只占盛唐时的一小部分。 相传西周时期周幽王就曾在此建骊宫。秦始皇时以石筑室，名为“骊山汤”。汉武帝时扩建为离宫。唐代又经唐太宗和唐玄宗时的两次大肆扩建，唐玄宗天宝年间改名“华清宫”，这时的规模最为富丽堂皇，但经安史之乱后已遭毁坏。1982年考古发现唐代华清宫皇家沐浴汤池殿基遗址，考古清理出包括五组唐代皇家汤池等遗址，1990年正式对外开放。1996年华清宫遗址被国务院正式列为第四批全国重点文物保护单位。 1878年，清代临潼知县沈家祯在华清池修建“环园”，成为清代、中华民国时期的著名景点。1936年12月12日，张学良、杨虎城在此发动兵谏，扣押了蒋介石，史称“西安事变”。1982年华清池内主要历史建筑五间厅被列为第二批全国重点文物保护单位。

พระราชวังหัวชิง ตั้งอยู่บริเวณเชิงเขา ห่างจากตัวเมืองซีอานออกมาประมาณ 30 กิโลเมตร แต่เดิมเป็นพระราชวังฤดูหนาวของจักรพรรดิราชวงศ์ถัง ที่โด่งดังคือตำนานความรักของจักพรรดิถังเสวียนจงกับหยางกุ้ยเฟย สนมคนโปรด พระราชวังยังคงรักษาความเก่าแก่และงดงามไว้ได้ ภูมิทัศน์ก็งดงาม จอมพลเจียงไคเช็คเคยใช้ที่นี่เป็นที่ตั้งกองบัญชาการด้วย จะมีจัดแสดงห้องต่างๆที่ใช้ด้วย มีกระเช้าขึ้นไปเยี่ยมชมด้านบนด้วย น่าสนใจมาก แต่ผมไม่ได้ขึ้น เนื่องจากมาถึงเย็นมากแล้ว กระเช้าปิด เลยได้แต่เดินชมด้านล่าง แต่ก็เดินชมได้ไม่หมด หากจะมา ควรมีเวลาเดินหลายชั่วโมงนะครับ ผมใช้เวลาไป 2 ชั่วโมง ยังเดินไม่หมด หากมาซีอาน แนะนำมานะครับ

走在清華宮里深受歷史得洗禮，想到唐宗對楊貴妃的疼愛～ 西安是中國人發源地之一，也曾是十四朝古都，擁有特別多故事，如臨潼的華清宮，好幾次改朝換代在此搬演。 華清宮是陝西5A級景區，一票制能參觀驪山國家森林公園及山腳下的皇家園林華清宮。驪山自古以來是溫泉勝地，山中不斷流出攝氏43度的恆溫泉水，周幽王在此造驪宮溫泉池，當時詩人讚譽是「華清駐老」，後來秦始皇、漢武帝都曾在此修湯池建行館，到唐代時，更是大興土木，建造出富麗堂皇的華清宮。 華清宮後來還接濟過在逃的慈禧太后一行人，以及臨時下榻的先總統 蔣公。中國近代歷史上最著名的西安事變就是發生於此，1926年的12月12日凌晨，一聲槍響翻轉了中國的命運，主張先安內後攘外的 蔣公沒被張學良說服，因而引來了槍林彈雨，夢中驚醒的 蔣公穿著睡衣往山上逃，最後在一個石縫裡被張學良搜到。
