20 Best Restaurants in Bermuda, From Fish Sandwich Joints to Sushi and Steakhouses | Condé Nast Traveler

"Given its prime City of Hamilton location (directly across from the Hamilton Princess, the city’s largest and most historic hotel), Huckleberry is often filled with island power brokers who prefer to linger over long lunches instead of wasting the day in the office. Expect a good mix of well-dressed locals and hotel guests grabbing a convenient bite. Thanks to Huckleberry’s Executive Chef Damian Griffiths, a Barbadian transplant who previously worked at the Michelin-starred Le Gavroche in London before relocating to Bermuda, most ingredients are sourced from local farms and fisheries. The menu is constantly evolving, ensuring a unique experience with each season. This summer’s highlights included the Rainbow Carrot Salad with roasted almond hummus, chicories, pickled pearl onions, and a maple vinaigrette, as well as the Seared Bermuda Rockfish with a soy and black rum dashi. There’s a good reason why Griffiths was named Best Chef in the 2024 Best of Bermuda Awards." - David LaHuta

Bermuda Huckleberry is the perfect spot for a laid-back brunch with a cool, relaxed vibe. From the moment you step in, the atmosphere pulls you in with its cozy yet modern décor. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making it easy to settle in and enjoy your meal. I ordered the eggs panceta omelet, and it did not disappoint. The omelet was perfectly fluffy, with the panceta adding a delicious, salty crunch that balanced the dish beautifully. The flavors were rich but not overwhelming, making for a satisfying and comforting brunch option. The restaurant is a great blend of casual yet trendy, with a playlist that sets the perfect mood—think chill beats, perfect for a lazy morning or catching up with friends. Whether you’re sitting inside or on the patio, you can feel the easy-going energy that makes it a great place to relax. Overall, Bermuda Huckleberry offers not just great food but a whole experience that makes you want to stay a little longer. It’s the kind of place where you can take your time, enjoy your meal, and soak up the good vibes. Definitely a spot worth visiting again.

We had an early dinner at Huckleberry's celebrating a birthday. The place was empty, and the service was prompt and efficient. Not raced. The Huckleberry salad was a good starter, although you should be aware with Kale, nuts and Cabbage it might be a bit much for some. We both had the seared Bermuda Rockfish which was fantastic. It melted in your mouth cooked to perfection. For dessert the cheesecake was very tasty although the Cake DuJour was a bit dry. All in all a great evening. I will definitely return. Hats off to Homer and his team. Very personable and provided great service.

We only had five days in Bermuda and we must say that the highlight of our stay was dining at this amazing restaurant. The ambience was SO INCREDIBLY SPECIAL and the FOOD was sooooooo delicious. This restaurant is located at the Rosedon Hotel. My husband and I ordered the fish sandwich as we were told Bermuda has the best fish sandwiches. The sandwich was more filler less fish. Had the one extra piece of fish would have given this sandwich a 5 star. I paired my sandwich with sweet potato fries which were excellent. U also switched the sandwich bread from raisin to whole wheat. The atmosphere was lovely, we sat on the front porch, and enjoyed the cool breeze. A bit overpriced but likely because all food is imported.

Shocking and Inhumane – A Humiliating Experience I have never experienced anything so outrageous and cruel in a so-called “hospitality” establishment. On a Sunday morning, I arrived at this restaurant for a simple brunch with my friend. My 9-year-old daughter joined me unexpectedly after her playdate was canceled. My friend was already seated on the terrace, enjoying her meal, and we simply sat down to join her. What happened next was beyond belief. A waiter immediately approached us and coldly informed me that my daughter and I were not allowed to dine there because children were not welcome in this hotel. He told us we had to leave, right then and there. My daughter, confused and humiliated, burst into tears. I was in complete shock. Desperate to salvage the situation, we asked if we could move to the lounge area outside, where small tables were available. But no, apparently, even that was unacceptable. The waiter, almost smugly, explained that this was a newly enforced policy, as if that somehow justified the absolute lack of basic human decency. I cannot stress enough how appalling this experience was. A policy that actively excludes children, not just from staying at the hotel but even from sitting quietly at a breakfast table, is beyond discriminatory! It is heartless. In any civilized country, such an approach would be condemned. A Sunday morning breakfast in a public hotel restaurant should not be a scene of humiliation and rejection. If you have a family, or simply a shred of compassion, I urge you to avoid this place at all costs. There are plenty of wonderful establishments that truly understand the meaning of hospitality - this is not one of them.

What a lovely brunch! We celebrated son's baptism here and we had private room with am intimate setting. Perfect for a family meal. The food was exactly as we hoped. It was delicious and also surprising with not just your normal breakfast offerings. The service matches. They are very kind and attentive. We can't wait to return!!! Cucumber cocktail is a must try.

Amazing food! Big thanks to Francis and the rest of the staff for a great evening, including a perfect happy birthday for my wife on her dessert. To the chef Damien and his staff, everything was perfectly prepared, amazingly presented, and so so delicious. Really appreciate the exquisite cuisine, beautiful veranda, and gracious staff.

Incredibly friendly and accommodating staff! Make sure to share any dietary restrictions and they will accommodate! The food was incredible! We had the Dry-aged steak & Huckleberry Salad, both were fantastic! Be sure to look at the dessert menu too! So yummy!
