Great food and drinks. A laid back, cozy atmosphere. We had appetizers (small plates) and drinks only. We tried: -fried brussel sprouts -garlic buffalo wings -rosemary parm fries All 3 were really good, especially the sauces they came with. For drinks we tried: -red headed stranger -farewell transmission Both were well made but farewell transmission was definitely the favorite. My husband had a bad experience with a host in the past and was reluctant to come here. Since that was a few years ago we decided to try again. Once again we were not impressed with the host. He did not smile once at anyone the whole time we were there but it was an improvement over last time when the host was rude. Our waitress was really great and we would definitely come back.

** Total Disappointment The Smash burger that I ordered was room temperature cold. Soggy brown tomatoes on it w/ smelly onions in some white sauce on a measly charred inside hamburger bun..burnt...yep burnt...The french fries were extremely salty and cold & dried up hard... Probably just sitting on some dank window sill waiting to be taken to anyone's table !!! some poor unassuming customer will get it !!!. Entire display # REPULSIVE. Truly gross for 23 bucks. I'll go to Wendy's instead. I was appalled at how the Head chef could serve up that mess on a tray!!. The servers and service and the ambience was just lovely but the food was totally disgusting. I took two bites of the burger, asked for a "to-go container" and then I threw it in the garbage across the street hoping a raccoon can dine by the dumpsters. That's exactly where it belongs in the garbage. Cold food ...salty food. dated food.. Unsavory....Not going back here ..... EVER....# NT - Nice Try .....but I was HORRIFIED!!!!

Google
A great experience every time. Always a wait but worth it Good beer draft menu, great sandwiches/burgers. Highly recommend steak sandwich and the burger. Great patio atmosphere and the servers are so kind!

Google
Sad that it’s closing down, but glad I got to experience it once. I’ve been told this was a neighborhood favorite and while they had to cut down significantly on their offerings when I visited, every dish was fantastic. Got the pickled veggies, butternut squash soup, and bratwurst.

Google
Had a great weekday brunch here. Food and cocktails are spot on. This is the kind of place you'd expect in the city proper and a nice option is here. Very vegan friendly. Prices are high but fair for farm to table ingredients and ethical wage transparency the whole way down.

Google
Absolutely great. You can't go wrong with anything you get here. The location can seem a bit small but does hold a good amount of people even during peak times, so the wait wasn't too bad, especially since they have some outdoor spots to hang out. Incredibly friendly staff, and the atmosphere is very cozy. Drink menu is all delicious, and no matter what you get for food you'll be happy. Perfect for small groups, I wouldn't recommend more than 6 people on short notice, but definitely worth checking out! Donuts are to die for.

Google
I’ve always had a great time here! the menu changes up seasonally so it is hard to pick a favorite item, but I’ve never had a bad dish here. Their seating is mainly outside but if you have a smaller group or riding solo, there is some seating inside. The outside seating makes it feel like you’re visiting someone’s back yard, and I mean that it is very welcoming and you feel like you’re being hosted by a good friend. The staff here are always pleasant, kind, and very knowledgeable. I am also grateful that huckleberry stays open late! It has often been my saving grace when all other places seem closed.

Google
I would recommend! You seat yourself. Lots of comfort food choices available. Bar drinks available. Donuts are on the menu (didn’t have). The double smash burger is tasty, but messy! Fries so good, ordered an extra serving! Service good. Sat outside on a nice weather day, with some insect visitors flying around (not the restaurant’s fault), just be prepared. If I were in the area again, I would return. Oh, they were out of Brussel sprouts, which was kind of a bummer.

Yelp
Beautiful outdoor seating area! Some seating inside as well. The service was great and location is perfect. The food was good, very crispy fries. Wings were a good classic go to.

Yelp
Had a great lunch here. Their burgers are tasty, and I loved the side of crispy brussel sprouts. The vibe is very laid back and casual. The service was good, and wait staff was friendly.

Yelp
I love this place. It can get very crowded during busy times, especially on weekends when the weather is nice, but it is a beautiful courtyard to chill out and have drinks and food. We went there last night and had burger and fries. We also had two beers. You order inside and they bring the food to your table. The servers were very friendly and helpful. Their service was very efficient. One drawback to this place is that it is expensive. We paid almost $20 for a burger, which was delicious, but we wanted to get a side of wings and they also cost $18. The appetizers are very tasty but there isn't a whole lot of food for the price. The value is in the quality not the size of the portion. Even the salads can be expensive for a very basic things like a Caesar salad. They have a great drinks menu, including cocktails, and moctails. They also have a very nicely curated selection of beers from which to choose. They aren't all local, but they are all delicious. This place is also dog friendly, so be ready for some cuddles. Do not bring your dog if they are super reactive. There will be other animals there. Nicely shaded picnic tables and bistro tables and also some seating around the fire pits. Very casual and fun.

Yelp
Came here on a late Monday night and was completely taken back by the service, the food and vibe. Our waitresses were all super friendly, down to earth and genuinely funny. Even though we didn't have a reservation, my date and I were immediately seated in their best upstairs table, which had ample booth space and wonderful view of both their outdoor section and the room. Pro tip: Get the wings, grass-fed beef burger and the sea salt fries. They were all soo good!
google avatar

Pratiksha R.

Yelp
We had tried this place before on a weekend morning for brunch but Sunday night looked a little dead. The good part is we did not have to wait in the queue to be seated. We are their kimchi burger and replaced patty with bean and quinoa patty and another burger we had was veggie burger. Both were good. We replaced sea salt fries with rosemary and parmesan. It tasted good.

Yelp
This was an incredible find while road tripping. An even more incredible find because our GPS wanted us to come through the rear gate...a server closed the wooded portal after we wandered through and found ourselves in a charming outdoor eatery. We walked to the front door and requested to sit outside. The drinks, sandwiches, and fries and were perfection. This is the kind of place you go, and then go again, and then go again just to make sure it was just as good as the other two times. I can't wait to refind Huckleberry during another road trip!

Yelp
We loved dining outside on the lovely patio the other night. Everyone loved their food. Huckleberry is a New Paltz gem! Great drinks, prices, service and food.

Yelp
Wonderful restaurant off the beaten path. Service was excellent and the smash burger with house cut fries was outstanding. Highly recommend :) the Huckleberry

Yelp
The service is so great. They have always been super chill and flexible with our group. We came with 4 and then had 2 friends drop by and they totally adapted and were cool about it. The food is also fantastic and the prices are average for the area

Yelp
First, I'll say that we were happy to find this place when we did because nothing else was really open. The roasted Brussel sprouts are fire. The patio is cute and there's definitely some nice ambiance going on overall. The menu has a good selection of gluten free and vegan options marked. But as for the service and the overall quality of the food and portions we received for the price, it was a lackluster experience. Our waitress never gave us her name or even really greeted us in a friendly, caring manner. She floated around addressing other customers after I made eye contact with her and raise my hand to try to get her attention. I ended up asking another server to help with what we needed, and she eagerly helped, but it shouldn't take intercepting a random waitress to get service when yours appears to be hanging out with other employees off in the corner half the time. The bill was really high for what we got (one beer, one burger with Brussel sprouts and gfree bun, and a vegan bowl with pretty measly pickings). The vegan bowl was basically cold quinoa and some lightly pickled veggies tossed in there in a way that looked sad and like it had been sitting around for awhile on a salad bar. The burger had very little meat in it (granted, they do disclose "thin" patties, but for the price, it was ridiculous). Why do I go to the trouble of highlighting these things? Not to be rude, because I know it's hard to run a restaurant, especially in this economy. But I think many people work hard for their money and want good service and quality food when they spend it. I have paid less and gotten better food and service many places elsewhere in the world. New Paltz as a destination has catered to the NYC crowd (among other tourists) for ages, so maybe that's why this place can get away with this because they may not care about generating repeat customers as much. But I think this restaurant could do better than what we experienced, and would love to see them improve, as it would otherwise be the kind of place I'd like to revisit. I wouldn't totally avoid it, but I definitely wouldn't go out of my way to go here based on this experience.

Yelp
Great food, great friendly service ... couldn't have asked for a better meal! Loved the ambiance with all of the repurposed doors, live plants and lots of windows! If we had been dressed more appropriately, we definitely would have sat outside by the fire pit! Looking forward to coming back!!

Yelp
Love me some Americana. Was gravitated to this place for the brussel sprouts and donuts. Sadly I was informed there were no donuts. ‍ This place is quite busy on a Saturday night. But the burgers came out perfectly and the brussel sprouts were charred nicely without being burnt. The parm fries were special. Cheers

Yelp
Wow what a great little place off of Main Street in new Paltz!!! My son has gone to the school for 5 years and I've eaten at a lot of places in town and it took me until graduation day to find this hidden gem. We sat outside with a party of 8 and had an amazing lunch with great service. First off the drinks we ordered were great along with a couple really delicious apps (sorry I forgot to take pics). We had the hummus (amazing) and the spinach dip which were both great sized portions to share with our large party. For lunch I had the Caesars salad and added parm and chicken. My only complaint was $20 is a little pricey for a salad but it was really good. Never had a Caesar's salad with onion but man o man was it good. It was also loaded with croutons and chicken so it was amazing. Many at the table had burgers and they looked really good as well! To finish it all off we ordered 4 different donut flavors to share with the table. These were just average even though they looked a lot better. My recommendation is that they come out really hot like other places and that probably would have helped. If I'm ever back in town which I probably won't be in the future I would absolutely come back.

Yelp
Love Huckleberry! It's my second time coming here for the quinoa burger. I'm gluten free and vegan and I love the options they have for my needs! Quinoa burger is amazing. Brussels are so yummy with the vegan aoli. And the Caesar salad was delicious! Service is excellent too. And the setup is gorgeous, especially the outdoor seating at night. The grill outside is a nice touch! I'll be back whenever I'm in the area.

Yelp
Great place to drop by and grab a burger and beer with friends! They have a wonderful outdoor seating area, some with tables and some around fire pits. I came on a weekday night for dinner in the summer and it was pretty full, so definitely try to get there early. I've also been on a weekend later at night for drinks and either time there was always a seat. They have great food options, including salads, tacos and burgers. The burger came with fries and sauce and you could swap the fries out for Parmesan fries or a salad. The fries were crispy! We also got Brussels sprouts to share with the table which were divine and perfectly crunchy. Will definitely make my way back here when I'm in the area!

Yelp
Been here a few times now and it's a great experience every time. I highly recommend the donuts, they're amazing! Friendly staff, great food but what else do expect from New Paltz??
google avatar

Ian H.

Yelp
The food is fine but the staff is impressively rude. The only reason we ever go here is because it's one of the few places in town that's open past 8Pm.
google avatar

Cary B.

Yelp
Very cool bar/restaurant. Only issue is its always so full we always wait a lot to sit or have to battle to get drinks and food. The fries are really good and the drinks are unique and delicious. I like the outside seating with the fire but there is no tables to put ones drink so one time my drink spilled all over myself and couch. No one asked or seemed to care which is part reason why lost stars that and wait

Yelp
After all the rave about Huckleberry and their pretty drinks and ambiance I knew I had to give them a try next time I was in New Paltz. Here I am! Ok, so it was a ridiculously freezing day and I couldn't bear to be outside. They do have the prettiest outside setup too with multiple heaters and fireplaces! It's really a great spot to chill and hang and grab a few bites with a cocktail or mocktail (they say a lot of great things about them!). We opted for cocktails by the bar with an app. TOTALLY TOTALLY worth it. First of all, the staff was so nice and quick to take care of is. It's such a chill vibe, everyone's there to hang and you're totally welcome. Ordered a Spooky Lady Sideshow and a Huckleberry Old Fashioned. Wow. That's all I can say. My spooky lady screamed LAVENDER all over the place. It was absolutely delicious and refreshing. The Old Fashioned had its kick and both drinks were just amazing. It wasn't watered down or in a huge glass of ice. It was just right. Don't skip on the rosemary parmesan fries! They pair way too well with the adult bevies. Great spot to come to. Love the ambiance. Wide menu section. Many vegetarian options. Cant wait to be back!

Yelp
Exactly the type of hangout I want when I'm in New Paltz. Quaint, no-fuss, under the radar outdoor set up. Heaters to keep you warm(ish)... hey, it can get really cold and sometimes a heater can't help. Bring some hand and toe warmers if you plan to chill for a while and it'll help tremendously. Last time I was here there was only outdoor seating, but it was still a great time. Not sure if it's changed since! The cocktail list is pretty extensive, and I love that they have hot spiked apple cider. The food menu is pretty diverse. As many others have mentioned, the fries are a must. Especially with that garlic aioli. The chicken sandwich is pretty solid as well. I had this noodle kimchi dish a while back because I was cold and wanted something comforting and warm lol and it was so good. Did not expect something like that on the menu but it was solid and I appreciate that everyone who visits has something they can eat. Come here for a good time, chill outdoor vibes, and solid food and drinks.

Yelp
Huh. To be fair, this review is probably closer to a 4.1/5. Venue wise, it's nice enough and I could see it being pleasant for a beer with friends. I had the steak burger with parm rosemary fries. The burger was fine, but the fries felt overcooked. It's pricey for what it is--definitely not worth it

Yelp
Really good spot. The food was good and the old fashioned was delicious. Check it out

Yelp
Came here for early dinner after a hike at mohonk preserve, it was early sunday evening, beautiful fall weather, their outdoor seatings are still well curated w heating lamps. I love the decors, a greenery walkway leading up to the hostess, on your left, there are outdoor patio like lounge furnitures for small and big groups, once you go in, there's a rustic bar and restaurant w tall ceilings, there's more seats upstairs, we were seated indoor cos we didn't bring our jackets, plenty of taps, ciders and IPA options, I went for buttermilk fried chicken sandwich and my friend went for the burger and fries, I was abit disappointed w the chicken as it's abit dry, the chicken pieces in the sandwich were small chicken finger like sizes, it wouldn't be good if it's not too overtly fried so it was dry instead of crispy. I had a bite of burger and it was good! the brussels sprouts were really delicious. Overall, I really like the ambiance!

Yelp
I recommend making a stop at Huckleberry if you're in the New Paltz area. The prices are very reasonable and the lunch menu is delicious. They also have incredible and really fun drinks, which I highly recommend ordering. I personally got the Sunday Best and it was one of the most refreshing cocktails I've had. FOOD: Fried Brussels sprouts (5/5) - I didn't manage to get a picture of this but this side was absolutely delicious. The Brussels sprouts were tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. Cold pesto pasta (3.5/5) - This dish was good but nothing spectacular. The price of it is great though, so if you're looking for a simple cold dish you can't go wrong ordering this. Spring salad with chicken (3.5/5) - This was your run of the mill salad, had a typical vinaigrette dressing and lots of chicken which was good. Surprisingly, this salad ended up costing more than most of the other dishes. White bean and quinoa burger (5/5) - This burger was so good! I really liked the avocado lemon aioli and wish there was more on the burger. This dish was also super filling and I was stuffed by the time I finished it! Fries (5/5) - You can't go wrong with fries, but what really blew us out of the water was the sauces. The handcut fries came with this delicious, smoky ketchup that almost tasted like a Bloody Mary. The garlic aioli that came with the rosemary Parmesan fries were also yummy and the chipotle Mayo that came with the Brussels sprouts were good on everything.

Yelp
Super cute vibes & ambiance ! There's a nice outdoor seating section with hanging patio lights , and fire pits (which unfortunately weren't lit when we went) . My party & I stumbled upon this place on a Saturday evening after hiking locally all day. We found the bartender a bit rude , but made good drinks & still offered decent service. I ordered the "Lighting Bug" cocktail which I found refreshing & my partner ordered the "Thunder" cocktail which includes jalapeño infused vodka if you like a kick. For our meals we ordered wings (crispy & saucy) , their burger , and a flank steak salad. The salad dressing was delicious - really enjoyed the watermelon radishes . I wish they added more greens to the salad because it was so refreshing! The French fries were crispy , however the hamburger was my least favorite - I think the meat needs more seasoning. Overall it's a super cute stop for a bite & chill vibes to enjoy cocktails with friends. I recommend if you're in the area and want something casual!

Yelp
Not sure why this place is so popular. I've been here a bunch of times and the food has always been mid to bad. It's weird because the ingredients and preparation and plating and everything come across as high quality, but the flavors are just bad. Polenta is the best thing I've had, but even that has a weird sourness(?) that shouldn't be there. I couldn't finish the sesame noodles with chicken. etc.

Yelp
A hip, laid back, eclectic spot to refuel and relax. Creative menu and cocktail offerings plated or served beautifully. The Hot Spiked Cider hit the spot on this frigid afternoon and warmed the soul. A delicious blend of orange, clove, cinnamon stick with a shot of bourbon. The Autumn Salad was a lovely presentation of arugula, spinach, candied pecans, roasted squash, craisins, goat cheese and drizzled with maple vinaigrette. The add on grilled chicken, $3, was disappointingly over cooked. The overcrowded small salad bowl made the salad difficult to manage, and it was light on the yummy vinaigrette. The Guinness wings (10) with crumbled blue cheese aioli was devoured by my daughter. Equally enjoyed was the order of Rosemary/Parmesan, $7, hand cut fries served with a house made garlic aioli! Wish this spot was in Savannah, GA!

Yelp
Great selection of beers from local vendors (yay!) I love supporting small businesses. The prices were reasonable and the staff was super friendly. The ambiance was cozy but we had to sit on inside because the inside was a bit packed. Too bad the heaters or fire pits weren't on, because it was a bit chilly. Would visit again or recommend to those visiting the area.

Yelp
The food and service is always great. The atmosphere definitely brings you back and the cocktails are amazing definitely will be back all time favorite in New Paltz

Yelp
Not bad. Unusually high reviews for an average spot? Smash burgers are not true smash (aka weren't thin). Steak sandwich isnt very robust. Mac n cheese 16 dollars? Bit too expensive for a non nyc average college town restaurant. Ambiance is cool for the college vibe and the drinks are fun.

Yelp
This place is amazing. It makes me want to move to New Paltz, or at least relive the days of my youth as an art major (though I didn't ever go to New Paltz but another SUNY). While we were headed to Mohonk Mountain House, we wanted to stop for a quick bite, hours in the car - hangry passengers! This place just oozed charm from the outside, so we followed the red brick road to this cute little restaurant. We decided on the blistered shishito peppers, a lavender lemonade, a summer salad, and hummus. For starters, the service - excellent. The prices - very reasonable. Social distancing was in effect this warm summer day. Ample outdoor dining available and we were able to grab a table for the three of us. Once our order was up, they called out "Mandi!" Everything was excellent - this was our first time having shishito peppers. Be forewarned, these fellas are generally mild but once in awhile you get a HOT one, and I mean SPICY! The hummus was also fresh and delicious, as was the salad. The lemonade was very refreshing. I wish we were locals because I am pretty sure we'd be ordering out from this place ALL THE TIME. You bus your own table and they had a nice setup to make it an easy cleanup, with everything clearly labeled where it belongs. Huckleberry - we miss you! Thanks for a most excellent lunch.

Yelp
We came here for lunch and really enjoyed it! The drinks were excellent -- especially Beetlejuice! The service was great and while the place gets crowded, they never make you feel rushed to leave. I had the veggie burger and really enjoyed it. The rosemary parm fries were really good! We also got a side of mashed potatoes (I think it may have been a special) and OMG they were so good! Came out in a little crock with cheese melted on top. Perfection! Would definitely recommend this place! We would love to come back when the weather is warmer so we can bring the dogs and take advantage of their cute outdoor patio setup!

Andrew L.

Yelp
PLACE IS SO COOL! I never knew about it and I grew up near there definitely recommend going there! WARNING! A lot of vegan style food, not a bad thing just letting yall know

Yelp
Good food in a casual, informal atmosphere, comfy outdoors seating. Nice selection of apps, small plates and meals, along with full bar service. If you're not drinking, their mocktails (I had the Little Surfer Girl) are a very good alternative.

Yelp
Huckleberry was a delightful place just off of Main Street New Paltz. It has a great atmosphere inside and even better outside. The food was fantastic. It had a good beer selection, and some fun cocktails and non-alcoholic cocktails. I'm coming back here first when I visit new Paltz again.
google avatar

Joe R.

Yelp
Great outdoor space. Friendly staff. Good cocktails. Spacious outdoor area with lots of seating. Good beer selection. Food is pricy for what it is but tasty. I would stick to just drink and eat somewhere else. In the winter they have great wood burning stoves outside.
google avatar

Dawn R.

Yelp
Came here with 6 coworkers on our way through town. Ate on the adorable patio. Server was friendly and inviting. Food was amazing. Across the board we all felt that way. I had a cheeseburger and fries and it was incredible. You could tell the food was made there and not defrosted and heated up. I ate until I was in pain and then I ate the leftovers from the guy next to me bc he's a PAB and couldn't finish his fries. I would definitely stop by the next time I'm hungry and passing through by exit 18.

Kathleen O.

Yelp
Professional, unobtrusive service, delicious food menu with options for all, outdoor location and comfortable seating are win-win-win combination. Love the carafes of water on every table and the easy way staff serves patrons. Enjoyed Burrata appetizer (homemade fig jam!), Hot (spicy oil not peppery) Chicken Sandwich with Parmesan Fries, Autumn Salad with pomegranate seeds among other fresh greens and additions plus THE DONUTS and delicious hot coffee. Reasonable prices for amazing experience. We will be back!

Yelp
First time visit to what appears to be a local favorite! Let's just say Huckleberry is a whole vibe. My sister, cousin & I decided to swing in - 20 minute wait on a Friday night.. no big deal - we went to the bar and enjoyed some delicious cocktails & craft beer! Table opens up outside and we sit and enjoy a delicious meal together. Fires going, string lights, music playing- it's a real cool vibe that we all enjoyed very much. Service is out of this world! (I was a server for over 20 years..) our waitress was great, anytime a dish was empty it was promptly removed by anyone passing by... we never felt rushed - but were very taken care of. Highly recommend for a chill night out with friends!
google avatar

CG R.

Yelp
They don't normally take reservations but saved a table of five for us upstairs. Thank you! Friendly, attentive waitstaff. Cozy, welcoming, late autumn atmosphere. Food: Brussel sprouts were exceptional (even w several wayward fries mixed in). Fried chicken sandwich was crunchy and perfectly spiced on the outside and moist on the inside. Parmesan fries were unevenly seasoned and fried--some were hard and almost burnt and others just right. The white bean, quinoa burger was more of a moist bean mash. The accompanying salad was mainly white romaine lettuce and quite unremarkable. The hot cider tasted like bottled cider with none of the promised spices and was then heated in the microwave.

Yelp
We were so looking forward to eating at Huckleberry for a full dinner, but plans got changed late in our New Paltz adventure, and we had to settle for drinks and appetizers instead. No worries, our experience here was still awesome, and we look forward to coming back for a longer meal (preferably out on the adorable patio) before the summer's over! Huckleberry is a hidden gem eatery located literally off the beaten path of New Paltz's main drag, and the cuisine is New American with a farm to table flair - just what we like, honestly! They also have an incredible selection of locally made beers and other spirits, and even though I didn't drink, I had my eye on an interesting sounding lemon lime sour beer.. yum! I loved that they offered a list of mocktails along with the alcoholic offerings, and my grapefruit and seltzer based drink was awesome - the perfect blend of tart, sweet, tangy, and refreshing on a warm July evening! The restaurant itself is unique, in that there are a few different places to dine, but all have their own atmosphere and vibe. The aforementioned outdoor patio is a large space with millennial friendly twinkle lights, an alfresco bar, and plenty of seating; the first floor bar is warm and well lit, reminiscent of a gastropub bar; and the upstairs is a more intimate space with great views of the sunset over the mountains, candles on every table, and shabby-chic chandeliers hanging above. No matter where you go, you'll have a fun time, as the casual-homey aesthetic permeates throughout the entire restaurant. I wish we had more time to order entrees! Everything on the menu, from a house made Banh Mi sandwich to a Poached Salmon entree with gazpacho looked amazing, but we settled for a shared plate of White Bean Hummus. It was very simple, but well prepared, with a variety of pickled veggies (the beans were INCREDIBLE), and warm pita bread, which was sooooo addictive! I wish there had been more! We were obsessed, honestly. Service could have been a tad more attentive - I felt like we spent half of the time trying to find our server between the levels of the restaurant, and running up and down a narrow flight of stairs isn't the most ideal way to spend date night, but when we got her attention, she was friendly and personable. I hope we can come back here for a full meal soon!

Yelp
Ohhhh I am so happy I took a random bday trip to see my cuz in New Paltz bc she introduced me to huckleberry!!! Not only did we have amazing fries, but also a spinach and white bean dip. The highlight tho were the frozen drinks. We truly enjoyed our frozé and piñas!! The small fire pits and chimineas added to the atmosphere even during the day and gave some extra heat which was great. Dog friendly here is another huge plus, I met so many puppers! Cannot wait to go back

Very disappointed with our first visit. Our friends had been here years ago, thought perhaps it would be better this time, but that was not the case. The white bean quinoa burger was okay, but didn't come close to getting on my Veggie Burger list. The flatbread "toasts" special were really disappointing, very perfunctory in execution. There was an "egg option" on the special, which didn't think we'd ordered, but it arrived anyway. (To their credit, when they saw our long faces when the bill arrived and we were charged for it, they comped it.) We stopped in at lunch time on a Sunday, and I can only guess the kitchen was backed up (although our server told us to the contrary), but we had a much longer wait for food than we had been led to expect. Beyond slow. A real failure in managing customer expectations. In their favor, I can report that they do have a good draft beer list.

Yelp
Hadn't been here in 5 years, decided to have lunch here on a nice sunny day and sit outside. What they have done with the outdoor area is amazing! Quirky and cute, plenty of tables either in the shade or with umbrellas which makes it very comfortable. Honestly the menu is very varied and I felt the prices were really reasonable. So many different drink options from local beer, cider, wine, cocktails frozen cocktails and even some nonalcoholic cocktails - the choices are endless! Service was friendly and very speedy, but we weren't rushed at all. We had two mocktails - a lavender lemonade and a citrus one- both refreshing! We shared fried brussels sprouts Rosemary Parmesan fries and a spring salad. All we're done perfectly and the salad super fresh and perfectly dressed. Definitely coming back next time we're in New Paltz!
